    I was away for 12 days. I have an elderly cat (15) who is highly anxious so I wanted her to be able to stay home. Pet Assist came everyday to feed her, play with her, clean her litterbox and, send me pictures and notes about how she and the house were. They also turned lights on and off, watered our plants and checked on the heat in the house.

    We have always been very pleased with their service. Always very timely and professional. We love the personalized notes and emails with pictures that accompany each service. We also love the fact that they do weekend overnight service if you have to travel where they will come over as many times needed, including at night and early in the morning. Beats having to board our dog by far! I would certainly recommend Pet Assist.

    I have been using Pet Assist for years. I cannot say enough about them. They are always professional with extra love and attention to my pets. I have two dogs and a cat and they look forward to seeing Betsy (sometimes Andrew) every day for their afternoon stroll and treats when they return (even the cat gets her treats too.)

    Stay clear of this practice if you love your pet. I had a very negative experience with their administrative staff and head of the practice. I called asking for some general information and for estimates because I was trying to get medical attention for my dog. I already had a pretty good idea of what was going on. I just needed to know the upfront costs associated with with all the tests and treatment and wanted to know a worst case estimate. They wanted me to come in and pay for tests to tell me what I already knew. They couldn't tell me any of the other costs except for the initial consultation. Which was actually quite low $58. Nice try (reel me in, hey we got a real big one here) well this conversation is over. I called two other places and got two estimates upfront. This is just bad business practice. Shame on them. To add further insult to injury they sent me a post card the next day stating bring this card in and we'll give you $20.00 off your fist exam. I was livid. I called them explained who I was and questioned why they did what they did and asked them to take me off their mailing list and asked them why they sent me this card when they did not offer to help me? After I questioned them about it and explained how insulting this was to me they hung up on me. Immediately called back and the same person answers on speaker phone and pretends she didn't just speak to me two seconds ago. I repeated my complaint and requested another time that they take me off their mailing list and confirm that they would..it was just dead silence..This was a Very Bad Initial Experience. They should not be in business if this is how they treat potential new clients I can't imagine how they treat their animals. Anyone writing positive reviews must be working for them.

    I cannot say enough about their service.  The professionalism and personal attention to my dogs are the best.  My dogs look forward everyday to their time with Betsy and getting their special treat when they return.  I look forward to getting my daily pics and comments while I am at work.

    Judy has been taking care of my dog and cats for over two years now, providing daily dog walking services during the week and pet sitting on an as needed basis. She is completely reliable, and goes above and beyond to ensure that my animals are well cared for, including making extra visits if she judges they may be necessary. She has accommodated numerous last minute requests to provide care in the evenings and/or on a weekend whenever asked.  Judy will also call to let me know of any concerns she may have about my pets, which I appreciate.  I would recommend Judy to anyone looking for reliable pet care.

    Pet Assist is exceptional.  We first began using them in January of 2013 just after we adopted our dog. When we were first looking for a dog walker in the area, we interviewed 3 or 4 different services.  Janis from Pet Assist was far and away the best with
    our dog right off the bat.  She was the most gentle, calm and reassuring with the dog and seemed very knowledgeable and professional.   We are enrolled in the monthly service plan, where they come to walk our dog 5 days a week. In the year that we have been using them, we have never had one problem or issue.  They are extremely reliable and very responsive.  Their team approach of using more than one person to walk the dog has been beneficial to us, as our dog has had some shyness issues and we believe it is a positive thing for her to be around different people.  Pet Assist���s rates are comparable to other services in our area.   I believe that their rates are great for the level and quality of service they provide. I recommend them highly.

    This was our first time using this pet sitting service.  Janis was very nice over the phone and when we met in person, prior to our vacation.  Our cats warmed up to her right away during in person visit.  Janis knows a lot about cats and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for animals.  During the time we were gone the service came by daily to feed, water and give attention to our cats.  They brought in the mail, alternated indoor lights and climate control as needed.  Our cats seemed totally satisfied when we got home.  We will definitely use this service in the future as the fee is very reasonable and the care is quality.

    They took her to tufts, admitted her, after a bunch of $$ issues before they would treat her. We got home from vaca went right to the hospital and she was one sick puppy (13years old) and not getting any better. we did decide that she be out of her misery.
    We are in the process of getting another dog, and i was mentioning this to the breederand she asked what food we were feed and we had changed her to Blue, canned, and she found out recently she knew of 3 other dogs that had got sick from the same food.

    Judy seemed nice and knowledgeable about dogs, however seemed fearful around our dog (who is timid around new people). She seemed nervous around the dog when she first arrived. Then, after talking with us for a short time she went to greet the dog again and said the dog might be able "sense her fear." She suggested that she take the dog for a short walk so they could get acquainted. From what we observed, she never got comfortable or seemed confident with our dog. Perhaps it was due to our dog being a very large breed. We opted not to hire her.
