    Wellesley Women's Care
In short: not well Long story: I was a long standing patient who was very loyal to her GYN. I switched insurances and was treated very differently. The nurses I interacted with were not knowledgeable. The professional staff (NPs, MDs etc) refused to contact me when I asked a direct question. It was excuse after excuse until finally I was billed an outrageous amount for a service which lead me to believe they are only after money from procedures as opposed to offering quality care. I’m glad I got out when I could.

I go to the Walpole office where Dr. Deaver-Chang is a pleasure to see and work with. She is honest and up-front making it easy to talk to.

FPG is how primary medical care should be delivered but rarely is today: competent, caring, and compassionate. You never get the feeling that you're being rushed or that you're just a bundle of symptoms. There's a great atmosphere among the staff who are well trained and motivated to be helpful and responsive.

. They actually have over 20 centres and some of them have specialities and some don’t. I primarily go to Chelmsford, Burlington, and Medford. Their facilities are outstanding. They have parking garage for free parking. Many of their specialties are under one roof which is why I like it. When I was working in Boston I went to the Cambridge site. In the early 80 Medford was built and Medford was more convenient for me. Subsequent to that, the facility in Burlington and Chelmsford were built. So for certain specialties and for the pharmacy I use that. I have very positive things to say about virtually every department. Some of the specialties like dermatology take time. The staff is highly positive. I will continue to go there in the future.

    Crown OB/GYN
I had appointments with all of the doctors at this office during my pregnancy, saw most of them during my 46 hours of childbirth, and was later treated for mastitis. I loved most of the physicians and found them to be very communicative, intelligent, and thorough. All of the doctors are very good and I would recommend them highly.

    New England OB/GYN Associates
This practice is great, associated with the top-notch facilities at Brigham & Women's and staffed with top doctors all around. I choose this facility because of it being affiliation with Brigham & Women's. My doctor is Lisa Lampert, probably one of the more junior doctors but absolutely smart, caring and highly regarded. New patients rotate so you meet all the doctors -- babies are delivered by whoever is on call that day -- and I liked them all. Sure, I had favorites, but I think that means that everybody must find a favorite within the practice :). I can also say that they have been smart and resourceful (as well as supportive and caring) through a few fertility hiccups. They are patient with endless questions on both routine and specialized concerns. Lastly, a small thing, but the office staff seems to have low turnover so I feel like I know the nurses and schedulers, too. Only downside is the occasional difficulty reaching a live person (often nurses' line goes into voice mail) but they are religious about getting back to you so it's a matter of convenience not quality of service (i.e., it's a pain if you're back in a meeting when they call back!). Ding on punctuality seems to be endemic to OB/GYNs overall. I've waited almost an hour for a scheduled appointment. Typically it's at least 10-20 minutes, worse towards the end of the day. However, I never feel rushed when it's my turn so I like that. I've also been on the receiving end of being whisked in when something goes wrong so I guess it goes with the territory. Judge for yourself. And bring something to read. BTW, the practice was founded by a man but it was an all women's practice until the last month or so. I heard they have just added a male doctor so check if you really care.

    Brigham OB/GYN Group
I am generally happy with them. I keep going there because of the brand name and I have had nothing go wrong with them. They are very professional and figure our how to do things, but I wouldn’t expect any personal service or lot of time. They do work on volume and they know how to cater to that volume. That is fine with me.

I highly recommend Linda Lassonde. She is incredible attentive and thoughtful in her communication and explanation. She has by far provided the best gynecological experience I have ever had, even after 4 other providers. Thank you!

    Mansour, Dr. Rafik Z.
So far I am pleased with him as a doctor. I agree with a previous review in that he is not as warm and fuzzy as some doctors might be, but I have found him to be very nice and most importantly, I believe he is extremely competent. I was referred to him by my general physician who used him for her own pregnancy/delivery. He was described as somewhat of a guru at Brigham and Women's, the doctor that other doctors will often consult with when they need assistance with a particular case. In the event that there are any complications, I have gotten the impression that he is one of the most capable doctors you could have. One negative is that since he has a single doctor practice, there are times when an appt might need to be rescheduled because he has a delivery or appointments might be running behind. This has not been much of an issue for me. I had one appt rescheduled, the office called me that morning to let me know. One time they were running behind but you can always call a few hours ahead of time to check. All other appts I was in and out very quickly. A positive to the single practice is that you know who will deliver your baby, you do not get shuffled around and then just get whoever happens to be on-call. I must take a moment to comment on his staff - they are great. I had a few different doctors recommended to me and the first place I called the receptionist was extremely rude on the phone and uncooperative. I called Dr Mansour's office and the receptionist was great - very nice, congratulatory and accomodating. His nurses, particularly the head nurse, Anne Marie, are great. She is fantastic, has helped me out numerous times over the phone and always takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions. In looking for an ob-gyn for a pregnancy, I can't stress how important the doctor's support staff is - you end up dealing with them more than the doctor often times.
