Can You Hear It Car Audio Inc
Don't let the outside looks of this business prevent you from stopping there. Got a groupon for Christmas. Called in March to set up an April appointment. Girl gave me one day, but when Eric called to confirm a few days before my appointment, it was for a different day. When I showed up for my appointment he was almost 15 minutes late opening up. Left my car. 2 hours later he called and told me my car would be ready in 15 minutes and I could make my way down and it would be all set when I got there. I was so impressed with the results. It was as if my car was brand new. It was amazing. I would recommend this guy highly if you love your car and want to keep it looking new.

They were wonderful.  When I leave my car, they weren’t pressured at all; they help me choose between leasing and buying.  They help me completely understand the contract of the lease.  They work to get everything in place and everything that would benefit both of us.  I don’t ever feel any mistrust.  They do maintenance on my car.  Everybody is friendly and good.  I did not pay anything, I have a maintenance plan. They accommodate your schedule completely.

    Ludlow Auto Sales

) my check engine light went on. Upon having the car diagnosed i was told the EGR valve was shot. Upon calling the dealer he stated I could bring the car in & he would re-set the 'check engine light" so it would go away. I stated that making the light go away wouldnt fix the problem which effects emissions and causes poor gas mileage. He then said he would check on it and call me back which he did. He told me to bring the car in and I stated I did not want his mechanic doing the work since he had sold me the car with so many issues. He told me I was rude and to go wherever I wanted and his mechanic was suffering from Cancer and trying to survive. I fail to see the revelance in selling me a car that wouldn't even pass inspection. I want auto buyers to beware so that they do not incur the headaches and financial hardships I have endured by purchasing a car from Ludlow Auto Sales.

    3 J's Tire & Auto Svc
We have used them multiple times with different cars in the last 7 yrs. They are faster than using one of the big chains but slightly higher. They did a good job every time we purchased tires and were happy with the result.. used them once for flat tire and were happy with the responsiveness and the price .

They were very proffesional and we will be using them again because they are very close to where we live, and we have heard good things about them from other people. They have a solid reputation and have a good start with us.

Immediately accepted my car from tow after having broken down. Called me with diagnosis of problem, repair/replacement needed, and cost for same. Upon my ok, work was completed within one day. Happy with courteous, responsive attitude, work being completed satisfactorily in a timely manner, and at a reasonable price.

It went very well. They called multiple times to discuss the options and how to proceed. I liked there were no unexpected costs. There was no pressure regarding additional work recommended. I would highly recommend them and I will return.

    3 J's Tire & Auto Svc
My car started initially, but after driving a short distance to drop my special needs daughter off at a neighbors it was completely dead.
I tried to start the car again 2-3 times and it made a rapid clicking sound. With the key in the off position the clicking sound continued with headlights flashing. With the key in the on position it then was silent and did not start. I called AAA. AAA service arrived in about 1 hour, and jump started the car. There was corrosion on the battery and the service tech noted the 2008 date on battery. He recommended that I not shut off the car and go directly to repair shop to have battery tested and potentially replaced.
At 4:00pm I called 3 J's Tire and Auto Service to ask if they could check and replace the battery. They took care of my car immediately
with efficient, professional and friendly service, even though it was close to closing time.
I am very satisfied with service provided by 3 J's, for this repair, and over the last 18 years that they have been servicing my vehicles. 3J's has never tried to sell me unnecessary products or service. I consider 3 J's to be a reputable customer oriented business that always treats me with respect and with concern for vehicle and personal safety.
I only marked the price as "good" because I don't have a comparison at this time.
    I highly recommend 3 J's to others.

I am bad about making an appointment to have my oil changed so I sometimes end up at Jiffy Lube. No appointment is needed and the service usually takes only a short time so they get an A grade for punctuality.
There are a couple of things I really dislike about their service: Upselling and poor training of techs.
At Jiffy Lube they invariably try to upsell additional services. If they aren't busy they take apart the air cleaner and cabin air filter, if they find the slightest dirt they they to sell a new one. Filters are supposed to collect some dirt and the correct test is to hold a work light behind the filter to see how much light is obscured by the dirt. they never do this. On one of my cars the filter housing is difficult to reassemble and I have found it loose after service allowing unfiltered air to reach the engine.
Another time at the East Longmeadow store the tech said they couldn't change my oil because they couldn't remove the oil drain plug from my older American pickup. When I asked to see what the problem was, I found they were using a metric wrench that was close but not exactly the same size as the standard fractional size the old vehicle required.
At the Hadley store I watched a tech pour synthetic Delvac oil into a woman's mini cooper. Delvac is oil for diesel engines and MINIs don't have dIesels. I pointed this out to the owner who asked the tech about it. She was assured it is ok for gas engines. That's only sort of true. Mobil makes Full Synthetic for gas engines and that's what she was paying extra for. Delvac is formulated to be best for diesels.
Jiffy lube puts a next oil change due milage and date on a window sticker to remind you when to come back. This never agrees with the manufacturer's recommendations it is always shorter. Ask them about it and they will claim you should follow and quot;the severe serviceand quot; schedule. Most newer cars have reminder lights that take into account such things as length of trips and engine temps.
I give them a C grade because you'll find the same practices in other service chains.
