Carlos is fantastic. Super responsive, knowledgeable about the things he does, and his team does solid work. He has great prices (he was 2nd cheapest in the comparisons we made, but not significantly more expensive), and there are no surprises besides the one an old house like ours throws at you. He went over options and made great suggestions. He really helped me become self-sufficient in a lot of houeshold things, and I did some of the extra installations myself. He also goes beyond the contract - e.g., there were hiccups with our permits, but he helped sort that out, and went himself to the city offices several times. He and his team are also really a nice crowd! NB: This is my review, copied from the site I originally found CRJ from.

Dry Crete did an OUTSTANDING job. The work completed in one day. My basement is dry and can be used for storage.. Dry Crete also removed large stones and other debris from my yard... I high recommend Dry Crete..  and  The work site  was clean and neat..

When I started asking for details, they started blowing me off. I asked for a different salesperson, that would understand my need for details.. I was directed to the Sales Manager. They didn't return my calls or I would get blown off. Their communication between departments is horrendous. I told them I wanted to postpone till the Spring. They started to be rude to me, and have caused me to not want to do this at all. When I told them I was canceling the whole thing, the sales manager made me go through an exit interview to get my deposit back. It took them seven weeks and nine phone calls before I could get my money back. It was horrible. So many red flags!!! They offered no warranties on their service and their literature had no details.

These guys met every expectation.  This was a "small" job, as nearly as I could tell, from reading other reviews.  My home is typical for its age - built in 1978 and sitting on a poured concrete foundation.  In 2001, I had contracted with a different company to seal a crack
in my basement, emanating from one of the window apertures, and extending all the way to the basement floor.  This was allegedly repaired by the two individuals who came, but they left a sheet of composite paneling glued to the repair, so that you could not actually see what they'd done.  As it turns out, they'd done very little, and 11 years later, the same problem returned.  Hence, my call to Dry Crete.
Jason could not have been more attentive, or personable.  He showed up exactly when he said he would, and explained in detail what had happened.  More importantly, he performed the repair that the previous company had claimed to have already done, with transparent detail, explaining the steps, as they occurred, so that I had a complete understanding of the process.  He even found an additional crack, much smaller, which he took care of as a courtesy.
It's nice to know that you have someone's complete attention, when you need their services, even when the size of your problem isn't very significant, from their perspective.  Small headaches are still headaches, and Jason understood that.

John showed up on time to do the initial walkthrough.  He provided a detailed explanation of what he and his crew would be doing and how they would be doing it.  He also provided an on the spot rough estimate and followed up with his final estimate in 24 hours.I was extremely impressed with his knowledge of basement repairs and waterproofing and he provided the most "engineered" solution that I came across.  Also, his pricing was very good considering the size of the job.  This was a patchwork hand poured basement floor of >40 years age and a field stone foundation of over 600 square feet that met a new side of the basement with a slab and poured foundation.John and his team showed up on time and promptly started working the job.  They cordoned off their way into the basement, taking the time to carefully protect the other areas that would not be worked by hanging extensive amounts of heavy duty plastic sheeting.  They broke up and removed the entire old basement floor and dug down to bring the level of that half of my basement even with the other side.  They removed every piece of debris and cleaned up the area at the end of every day. They patched the holes in the lower part of the foundation, put in extensive amounts of flashing, and poured a very nice floor.  Considering this side of my house was 100 years old, they did an excellent job and it really looks great. The final system had cleanouts in every corner, and two pan recessed floor drains (one for the hot water heater, one for the boiler) and ties together with the system on the newer side of the basement.I cannot stress how much I reccomend John and his crew to be your basement repair and waterproofing contractor.  He really knows what he is doing and takes the extra time to do it right, really paying attention to the small details.

I was very impressed with them. John is the owner of the company, and he came when he said he would. They were good to work with. I was pleased with the work and their work ethic when they were here. John was very easy to work with too. He had great customer service. He answered all of my phone calls and questions. Also he addressed any problems. He went out of his way to be available. It was obvious that customer service was a high priority. Their price is very competitive. They did what they said they were going to do. John was very responsive.
