    Tony Shannon Massage Therapy

Tony is a great masseuse and knows the essential oils well for use in aromatherapy. I look forward to more appointments with him. He has a new steam therapy option and other varieties of relaxation that are beneficial.  It is also wonderful that he uses the latest technology to make and confirm appointments.

Elements Therapeutic Massage - East Longmeadow

First, my therapist introduced himself and asked me what my massage needs were. He had my lie on my back first, which is my preference. It gives the back time to get warm from the heating pad underneath you. He started on my head and face with DRY hands and then proceeded with the rest of the front massage as normal.

When I turned over, he started on my back and found the knots in my shoulder and immediately had to change his pressure because it was too painful. As he worked on my back he slowly worked his magic and eventually he was able to add more pressure and release the knots.

I was very surprised the next day at how great I felt. I usually feel more pain for a couple of days even though the knot is gone, but not this time.

    Ancestry.com
Still the best genealogy site out there and I've tried a few. Don't rely on other people's trees-use them as a guide then find your own primary or secondary sources. Excellent for French Canadian info. Somehow Ancestry got a hold of the Drouin collection of French records. Search the names then go to the link to the original in French-it can be tough but you can get the names fairly easily. Prior to Ancestry getting the Drouin stuff, you had to go to Woonsocket, RI or to Quebec to read the Drouin microfilms. That alone makes Ancestry a great value to me. In Drouin you get , in French, an entry like: "John Smith, fils (son) of the legitimate marriage of (father's name and mothers name and maiden name) married Susan Jones filles (daughter) of so and so. Keep following these names all the way back to 1608 or so! You also can see B baptisms, deaths (sepulchres) or S, and M marriages. The French priests kept meticulous records. I usually join for a month $35 then cancel for a month or two then rejoin-its too expensive otherwise and its easy to cancel online-no hassles. And your tree is still preserved and u can add info still too and download your gedcom. I also use the drouininstitute.com genealogiequebec.com and the prdh. If u get info there, then add it to ur ancestry tree it will produce more of those "hint leafs"...what fun!!

    FIRST STEP NURSERY SCHOOL
Both my daughter and son have attended this school. My daughter went 3 days a week for a year and is now in kindergarten. My son has attended the past year 2 days a wek and will "graduate" in May and attend kindergarten in the fall. We love this school! Great student to teacher ratio, they really care about your children and both of my children have learned so much!
I would reccomend this preschool to anyone!
We looked around a lot and did a ton of research before deciding on First Steps. Out of all the others we saw in Western MA this was by far the best.

    Bazin, Dr. Bill
My initial scan and follow up appointments were all great. They are very nice and extremely flexible with appointment times and amp; very nice reminders. Ultimately, after 3 months, my pains had not changed but was told my flexibility improved. Personally, I believe my problem is with my pillow.

    Hylemon, Dr. Michael D.
Sure, he was nice, but didn't really take the time to listen to me. All he did was use a tool that pulsated on different bones in my spine and back. He told me that we wouldn't know if it was working for at least 2 weeks...at $35.00 an appointment. At the end of the two weeks I showed no improvement and am still in pain to this day.

    Riverbend Medical Group
My only complaint is how far behind they can get. However, I know that this is sometimes due to how much time they spend with each patient. I like it when my Dr listens to me and checks me out completly before ending the appt rather than rushing me out the door.
I like Riverbend very much and my whole family are patients there.

    Pioneer Spine & Sports Phys
I'm very happy with Pioneer Spine and Sports Phys. They took care of some pain when I was in rehab for my back. The physical therapy sessions were good. The girls in the office were snippy but the therapists are awesome. Their billing was not bad, it was just their staff at the desk was snippy. The therapists were fabulous, very knowledgeable, very willing to explain what was happening.

    Holyoke Day Nursery
Holyoke Day Nursery are wonderful. They are just overall wonderful. My grandchildren went there since they were in diapers. My kids were quite young when they had kids and my daughter went to work right after her daughter was born. Both my granddaughters and my grandson went there till they were in school. My granddaughter who is almost 17 is still friends with the people she met there. The prices were pretty good. They sent my daughter to all the right places so that she was able to send her kids there. They are affordable and they really send you in the right direction to get help. It is bilingual and so my grandchildren were counting in Spanish by the time they were 3. They were always there and open on time so no one had to wait outside. They are very friendly and professional. My daughter is OCD about her kids, but they did everything they could to accommodate her.

    The Spa at Stoney Brook
I have gone to Sheila for facials and she is always adding to what she includes as part of her facial.  I love the head and shoulder massages that she does.  I always leave there refreshed.

When Sandy does my massages I can never get enough.  I've gone to her for problem areas and for just a relaxation massage.  She is versatile and always listens to what I need.
