    Petra is amazing. She is incredibly reliable, dedicated, positive, upbeat and engaged. She gives way more than 100% to her clients. She is completely trustworthy and we felt totally safe with having Mom in her care. She is able to take initiative and step in when needed. She often called to check in on Mom even when she was not working. If anything, sometimes, I had to ask her to pull back a bit as she so much wants to take care of her clients. As Mom needed more time and coverage, we added a caregiver from a healthcare agency to fill-in time when Petra was not able to work as she had other pre-existing clients. We saw Petra as a personal assistant who has a concierge type business and did not initially hire her as a caregiver. Her fees are twice what agencies charge for homehealth type caregivers but they are totally in line with the type of concierge service that she can provide. She is also so much more capable and competent than any caregiver that we hired from the agency and there were several over a two year period. We felt very blessed to have found Petra and have her in Mom's life. Mom also viewed her as friend and not as someone who was getting paid to take care of her. I am happy to highly recommend Petra for future work.

    I hired Petra to work for my parents 6 years ago and she was totally amazing, helping them manage their household in terms of organizational projects, keeping on top of bills and mail, helping with grocery and gift shopping, light cleaning, laundry, and recently managing a huge move on short notice.  She has also helped me around the house with organizing, building furniture, etc.   In addition to being good at what she does, she is very easy to have around.  I have only the best things to say about Petra.

    They were awesome and I love them. They were really good to work with and they came when they said they were going to. They did it very quickly and it s a good sealcoating. I recommend them to bunch of people because they do good jobs and they were very easy to deal with.

    I was overwhelmed by financial deadlines, especially around relevant paper organization and motivation. Susan is an excellent organizer, but, more importantly for me, she created a self-empowering atmosphere. Poor organization is often due to feeling overwhelmed by the project. But Susan gently provided a positive, cheerful and calming pesence that enabled my motivation to emerge. Anxiety gone! All projects were done in a timely fashion and I am so relieved. Susan was very attentive to my specific needs. She was flexible, responsive and understanding. Further, she helped me arrange the organization that works for me and now my tasks will be easier in the future. I have used Susan's services on more than one occasion and will happily do so again if another problem arises. I have recommended her to a friend who was also very happy with the results.     SPEEDY TYPING/WORD PROCESSING SERVICE
    While the hourly rate seems reasonable, the work broke down to 43 cents a line, more than three times what anyone else has ever charged me. That also works out to transcribing at about 30 words a minute. I emailed my concerns and Louise explained the rationale to me and I felt duty bound to honor the agreement, although I had no idea the bill would be anywhere what it was. I have had many people transcribe my tapes over the past 17 years and this just seemed way out of line, even beyond what might be a "premium" service. That being said, if I was in a jam and needed something fast, done right, and money was no object, I would use them again.

    Arrow Bookkeeping
    Arrow was asked to give us a copy of the QuickBooks database monthly, we had to ask and ask for it, and only received a copy about once every three months. Although we asked for a final copy, we never received it. Basically they were paid for a full month of service that we have not proof they did. They also locked all data entered before 2008 and still have not given us a valid password. Worse, going back to November 2009 copy we received from them, we started reviewing the data for year end taxes and found errors that were made deliberately out of laziness. Both checking accounts were off balance. They both had negative amounts (less in QuickBooks that was actually in the bank), one in the hundreds, the other in the thousands. the customer accounts were not in balance. We are spending hours trying to balance the account so we can turn our balance into the account. The following errors were found: 1) Invoices missing, or the same invoice entered 2 or 3 times to get a total they wanted. 2) Payments from a customer would be applied to a customer that left our servers several years ago, using the general ledger with a note that said 'income added to balance monthly income". This was done so they could account for the income without having to take the time to find out which customer actually paid. 3) Bank credit card deposits were posted using the wrong account. For example, they had $300 of American Express payments to deposit and instead of applying it to the correct account, they just applied it to any account that owed money. If it was not an exact amount, they made up a bank fee to balance it. 4) Monthly income was often grouped together and deposited to the bank. It would be noted on the wrong day and applied to the wrong account. There is more. Most all of the damage was done in the last 14 months that we had them working for us. Arrow Bookkeeping was hired by us because they are QuickBooks certified. Do not hire them. Their work is beyond sloppy. They will use the general ledger to add information to get to the numbers they want. They are beyond sloppy and it will take us months to undo the damage they have done.
