  I stay with Verizon because I am too lazy to switch, but they quality is very poor. If you are moving to Cambridge and have not selected a provide yet, you may want to look around. The landline is POK, but the internet access is the worst of anyone I know. It drops so many websites and takes a long time to pull up all of them (I have a new computer, so it is not me).

  I was assured that my business would come up, among the top few in my category, on Google.  I spoke once or twice by phone to their rep and I complained that they hadn't delivered anything.  Then I tried to reach them a couple times by phone but I kept getting a busy signal.  About 2 weeks later,  I received an email message which was carefully crafted as to obscure the billing part on the second page.  In my most recent Verizon bill $200 appeared as misc. services.  Although Verizon agreed to remove the charges, eBridge threatened to invoice me separately.  If you look online you will see many, many complaints. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM.  THEY ARE USING MISLEADING DECEPTIVE PRACTICES TO SCAM CONSUMERS.

  Jim quickly turned the project around, with great results. He is very familiar with web design and technology, including the WordPress platform and "Thesis" template. Jim also is active in the web design and technology community, so he has good contacts and remains familiar with developments.

  The service was generally all right, but it was their tech support that was unbearable. I must have spent 60 hours on the phone with then over two months. They repeatedly gave the wrong instructions for configuring hardware; their tech support people treat you like you couldn't tell a mouse from a doorknob. They only know to read the scripts they're given -- even when you've given them facts that conflict with their scripts. They tried to sell me hardware that they're supposed to provide for free. After 5-10 calls, I got bumped to someone who knew what he was talking about. But he sent me faulty hardware and then he couldn't tell me how to configure it. I moved to another big Internet Service Provider. I'm not a big fan, but their tech support people are much easier to work with and generally seem to know what they're doing. Verizon DSL. It's not worth the trouble!

  I have been a long time customer of Comcast. I do check out both Comcast and Verizon, and I like to deal with Comcast. Overall my experience with them is good, and I would continue using them.
