Hauling reviews in Cambridge

They responded within 10 mins, and were here and finished within 2 hours of my bid request. Their bid was $160, I had 2 other bids, $150 & $175, so the price was right in line. The guys were courteous and quick. I would definitely use and I intend to use them again in a month or so.

The whole experience was great! The company owner, Matthew Bayles was the one I communicated with and who also came to do the work, with one other guy. He was very responsive and easy to talk to, we discussed what we needed picked up when I called, set a date - and they arrived exactly when he said they would. Matthew also called that morning to confirm their arrival time, which I really appreciated. They were both really nice guys, carful & very efficient - and they took everything I asked them to - in our case to was mostly wood (old furniture) and appliances (working and not working) and some misc. junk. I like that they separated out the appliances that are still working as they recycle what they can. They took everything we needed them to - and I only paid a little extra (at a very reasonable price) for them to also haul out a big old fridge that wasn't part of the original deal. The whole thing only took about 30- 40mins. We will definitely use them again.

THese guys were working under difficult circumstances given a snow storm. Ultimately they did what I needed and I give them credit and a pass given the weather. However, the original estimate was way off and once we were underway I was behind the 8 ball. They told me they could do one load and ended up needed more than two so I paid MUCH more that the original estimate. WOuld I hire again? ONly with a orice guarantee

I can not speak highly enough of the Walsh brothers and MRC. They are top-notch professionals who are also great people. If you have a tricky demolition and very aggressive neighbors, you need to hire these individuals. Or if you want to know the job will be done right. MRC will let you sleep soundly. Highest quality workmanship and professionalism Amazing stakeholder relations Quality people It may seem like demo is a place to cut corners and save some money. Why hire someone when it is just pulling stuff off the walls, right? Not so. We had a tricky house. 1870 home that had not been renovated in probably 100 years. We had potential lead, asbestos and who knows what else lurking everyone. In addition, we had neighbors who hated us and called every inspector they could find against us to try to shut down our job. We were so lucky to have MRC, because they do NOT cut corners. They followed all protocols. Use all the right techniques. They take pride in their work. When the state lead inspector came (after a call from the neighbors), the inspector basically said we had no problems. MRC was so quality and following all the rules, the neighbors couldn't do anything. Our project was not delayed, where with a less quality provider, or doing it ourselves, we would have had tons of delays over potential lead/asbestos dust or improper demolition techniques. They are also quality people. They were available to chat on the phone. They communicate clearly and regularly. They even sent a hand knitted baby blanket for Christmas to my son, who was a newborn at the time of the job. I can't speak highly enough of MRC. We would have been in a world of trouble without them. And they are just really nice people.

I've used Bayles before and find Matthew and his partner extremely hardworking and very thorough.  Matthew calls ahead of time to let you know when he'll be there and once there, doesn't waste a minute.  Very professional.

Matthew and I had a little trouble connecting but he always returned my calls.  Once he and his coworker William got here, they spent over three solid hours cleaning out a basement that hadn't been emptied in a good fifty years (if not more).  He and William worked for three hours solid. By the time they were finished they were filthy but they never complained.  The worked non stop, didn't have loud radios blaring, didn't talk much (and never cursed or used any foul language).  They were two of the hardest working men I've ever come across!  They were thorough, and Matthew went over everything with me once done, so we caught any loose ends.  I would recommend this two man operation any day, as I was 100% satisfied with Bayles Removal.

Angie's List happened to offer a deal on junk hauling and removal just as we happened to be tearing down two wooden trellises in our yard, each about 7 feet high and 2 feet wide. Bayles would take up up to 4 cubic yards of stuff for $119. Frankly, I would have been happy to have gotten rid of just the trellises, but of course once I looked in my basement I saw plenty of other things that hadn't been used in years (old garden hoses and trash barrels, a tall bookcase, lumber left from the previous owner), so I thought I might see if I could add any of them to the trellises. I signed up for the deal on 18 June and got an e-mail that I would hear from Bayles within two business days, which I did. My first choice of dates (the 23rd to the 25th) were, not surprisingly, already booked, and Matthew suggested the 27th. He gave me a two-hour window in which to expect them and said he would call ahead to be sure I was home. Everything worked exactly as he said: he called me at 10 to 1, said they would arrive within 20 to 30 minutes, pulled up at 1:20, and they were out of here in less than 15 minutes. And, yes, they took everything. They are A+.

Bayles was incredibly efficient, and came on a Saturday. We had placed all the items in our back yard, and they picked up everything. They called to let us know when they were coming, checked  in again to confirm what items needed to be removed, and hauled everything away before we returned home. It was a pleasure to deal with Bayles, would certainly work with them again when I need to have junk removed!

I bought one of your deals, which was great for a long overdue removal of these difficult items. Matthew replied to me in a very timely way to set up an appointment, though this one of their busiest times of year ( spring/ summer)  .  He was very courteous, professional , and personable.  They were right on time showing up to do the removal and provided a courtesy call about 15-20 minutes before arrival.  I can highly recommend him /  Bayles Removal Service and would not hesitate using them again.

We thought we would need to reschedule because our yard was inaccessible due to heavy deep snow cover.   But they came in with an army of shovelers, excavated the yard and tree, brought in the heavy equipment, and took out that tree with no problems.   They were professional and friendly.   We would definitely use them again and recommend them.
