    Drycrete Waterproofing
Amazing! Jason was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and customer service oriented. He completed a huge job in under a week--ahead of schedule, and went the extra mile in so many ways, adding in items beyond our contracted services. His attention to detail is suburb, and he makes very useful recommendations along the way. He communicates throughout the job so we always knew what to expect. He left the site clean, again going the extra mile to ensure we would be thrilled with the final product.

    DryZone Basement Systems
They do not serve the Cambridge area, but they answered the phone right away and they tried to hook me up with another company. My impression was that they are professional, polite and prompt. If only I lived in an area they serve!

    Drycrete Waterproofing
Great experience! I wish every contractor was like Jason@Drycrete. We had an interior french drain that was 20+ years old and completely clogged, full of standing water most of the time. The result was a musty smell (lots of mold!) and occasionally water in the basement, plus a gurgling radon system that clearly wasn't working (the pipe was sitting in water under the slab). Jason is very knowledgeable: he diagnosed all the issues and also discovered that they previous owners had been draining water out of the sewer clean out. Drycrete installed a new drain in two days, accommodating our schedules and working around one of the recent snowstorms, and they fixed a large wall crack. The new system works great, removing anywhere from 100 to 700 gallons a day so far (it comes with an app that provides details on pump activity), and basement is dry. Jason also capped the sewer line and did a bunch of extra stuff while there, e.g. used extra cement to patch some holes in the slab and removed a cement pedestal that at one point probably held an oil tank. Very accommodating! Overall I highly recommend Drycrete.

    Real Dry Waterproofing - Scituate
Curt gave an estimate which was reasonsble and worked started on schedule and was done in range given. The workers were efficient, cleaned up rubble, dirt and even removed some broken cement from old work in yard.  Work was done when promised.  The workers worked hard keeping a leasant attitude.

    MCCORMACK BUILDERS
This project awarded to Mc Cormack Builders took 30+ weeks to complete, as planned by Mike. Living 3000 miles away from the project posed a challenge in terms of selections, coordination, communication and trust. Mike's professionalism and responsiveness contributed to overcome the difficulties due to distance and time difference. Furthermore, Mike had to make decisions on the spot that, overall were ours as well. The subcontractors were generally up to the expected standard and the overall result is satisfactory. Planning and budget have been respected. All the change orders were fair and Mike's personal commitment to satisfies us was awesome. Overall , we are happy with our builder's choice and the end result of a beautiful house.

    Renaissance Masonry
John is not only a great mason but also a true gentleman. It was a pleasure working with him and both me and my neighbor are very pleased with the work his team performed. He was flexible with our schedules and sensitive to our concerns. His team was also willing to do help us move items around in the basement and outside so they could gain access - something workers are not always willing to do. In short the result was better than our expectations and the price very fair.

    S & W Tile
Highly professional, quality detail-oriented work, prompt completion.
I could not be happier with the work completed by Wes, Renato, and Domingo. The finished job is perfect, even more beautiful than I had imagined. It's porcelain subway tile with a stone finish throughout the shower, matching 2x2 on the floor, ceiling, and niche. The shower bench and thresholds are Caesarstone. The floor is 12x24 darker porcelain tile with a stone finish.
There were several specific areas where they excelled:
Initially, I was worried about acting as my own general contractor. Seriously, I have to draw pictures of things because I don't know what they are actually called. Wes made it really easy for me, answering all my questions and providing references to other service providers when I asked (all of whose prices were very reasonable). Each morning when they arrived, we would discuss what had been done the day before, what the plans were that day. Then I was off to work and everything moved smoothly. If there were any questions during the day, a quick text message took care of it.
Renato and I share a very similar aesthetic. I was trying to explain what I wanted in a drawing (basically none of those tiny little slivers of tile in the corner), and he showed me a way that we could do it by placing tiles against the wall. By figuring out the pattern that way, I was extremely confident in the appearance of the final product even though I could not be there during work hours. It was absolutely perfect, completely justifying my faith in Renato.
One factor behind choosing S&W Tile was how quickly they could finish the job. By using the Schluter system, they were able to complete the tile quickly and with a waterproof installation. Because the time was shorter, my husband was concerned that they might take longer than promised. Nope! We had added some buffer days because I knew that part of the house was bizarrely constructed (studs in weird places and not exactly vertical), but they finished in exactly 7 working days. That even includes one day when they had to stop early because Renato was sick.
Accommodating and educating me on what I needed to know on other pieces. Wes helpfully answered my questions about types of stone for the bench and threshold, preferred types of tile with the Schluter system, and exactly how to explain what I needed to the stone fabricator. When I messed up and the door threshold was too thick, he told me exactly how to explain what I needed to get it fixed. Plus, one of the guys stopped by the fabricator on the way in so that I didn't have to take time off from work!
Wes provided clear explanations of all of my options. Before even visiting, he told me his guess as to what was likely wrong and that I had two options: a $2000 patch that may or may not work, or a $11-12,000 permanent fix, which would require redoing all the tile. After a look at the household budget and the fact that I never really liked the old tiles anyway, I decided to just redo the entire bathroom. The final estimate (which was exactly what I paid) includes some extras in the shower plus redoing the floor plus installing a floor heat system. Very reasonable price given the competing quotes I received.
In case it is not clear from the novella I have written, I whole-heartedly endorse S&W Tile. I have been telling everybody at work who mentions they are doing tile work. And now I have told you. Give them a call and check out what they can offer.

    Drycrete Waterproofing
Jason was great to work with.  Prompt, professional, and knowledgeable.  My existing pumps failed, and I was getting nervous that there might be flooding soon if I didn't get it taken care.  Jason was able to come out on short notice to do the work.  My new system is much better than the old system.  I'm quite happy with it.

    Drycrete Waterproofing
When I met with Jason to get an estimate several months ago, he was the only contractor of the 4-5 whom I met with who looked at my basement and suggested a seam injection in addition to the sump pump. I appreciated that he suggested taking a more conservative approach to see if that would solve the problem (unlike other providers who proposed more major, extensive (and expensive) solutions.
Jason is personable, careful, thorough, and respectful. He's easy to reach and his team showed up promptly as scheduled. He took time to speak with me about what he was doing , found an additional source of water that could leak into the basement, and investigated until he was satisfied that he understood the issue and how to address it. He works very carefully because that's how he would want his own home to be treated.
After the job was finished (and my basement was cleaner than the way he initially found it), Jason was kind enough to set up and connect a new dehumidifier for me that would have been too heavy for me to move down the ladder into the basement.
Working with Jason and Drycrete Waterproofing was a terrific experience from start to finish.

    Rescon Basement Solutions - MA
Bob thoroughly examined our basement and gave us a detailed estimate. (The job was worth about 100K.) In the end, we decided  to go with a company that offered complete remodeling services, since we wanted to install a new bathroom. But we were impressed with Bob's professionalism and attention to detail. Rescon is well-worth checking out.
