They listened to our concerns, diagnosed the problem and had the parts on hand to fix it immediately. The estimate matched the total cost and was reasonable.   • Repairs were properly done. HOWEVER! They billed me an extra 250.00. I called to get the 250 refunded. They immediately agreed that they had double billed me and agreed to put a check in the mail right away. It never arrived. I called a second time. They promised my check would go out that day and apologized. The check never arrived. I called a third time again they promised to put a check in the mail. It never arrived. I have since called the credit card company and will receive a credit to my bill. I will not do business with a company that lies to me. Nor should anyone.

  • It went very smoothly. I called Factory Appliance and they answered the phone. From there they asked me to describe the issue (which was with a Fridgidaire fridge) and then they took the tenant's phone number to schedule an appointment. They went to see the tenant the same day and diagnosed the problem with the fridge. They gave me an estimate for the repairs. I approved the estimate. They ordered the parts and 3 days later when the parts arrived they installed the repairs and I paid for the job to complete.

  • I called to schedule an appointment after Sears (see my review for details) had changed my appointment time without notifying me. Marc answered and was able to come to my home within the hour. After my disappointment with Sears, I was obviously elated (it took 8 days to get the Sears appointment). Marc diagnosed the problem in minutes. He had the parts necessary to repair my washer in his van, so he quoted me a price and proceeded to repair my washer. He answered all of my questions, was thorough and professional. I would definitely hire Sherman's again!

  • I needed my washer repaired. I scheduled an appointment with a window of "10:00 AM -2:00 PM." I work two jobs and timing is very specific for me. I woke up early (I work very late), with a message saying "The serviceman would arrive between 1:15 PM and 3:45 PM." I tried to call the 800 number, but could not reach a human and went in circles. I finally reached a human (I think) through their online chat option. I was told the service person was 'running late' and so they changed my appointment without contacting me. If I hadn't have looked I never would have known. The customer service person on the chat could not have been less helpful. I canceled the appointment and am now looking for a new company to fix my washer.

  • Marc solved the issue by replacing a broken part but noted that the machine was on it's last leg due to more serious issues. He offered to take back the new part if we decided to replace the unit within 30 days, which we did and he kept his word. Excellent professionalism, consistent with my first experience when he fixed a filter issue on our refrigerator a couple of years ago.

  • Great experience. Marc is incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job on both my stove and replacing the ice maker in the fridge. He was able to fit me in quickly, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend.
