AAfter years of denial, I came to the realization my hearing loss was negatively impacting my life and I needed help. My biggest concern was most people that I know with hearing aids are not satisfied with their performance. They spent thousands of dollars on a solution that is periodically worn, and I was determined not be in that category. It wasn’t long into the evaluation process when I realized it was very difficult to determine how to proceed. There is no way to directly compare features, benefits and costs between brands. After weeks of research I did something I am very reluctant to do, I submitted a contact request form on the Hear.com website requesting information. Expecting the worst and waiting for the scam to begin instead it turned out to be the best decision I could have made to address my hearing loss. The process, service and the staff of Hear.com was great, however the true value was to send me to Karen Hickey at Hear More Associates. She immediately addressed my concerns about having hearing aids as a periodic solution to a permanent problem. Karen performed a hearing and evaluated my results, then explained each type of hearing aids along with their capacity and benefits. Through my research, I expressed the ReSound LiNX Quattro 7 hearing aids offered the features I wanted, especially the ability to connect to my iPhone and a proven application that allows you to modify the hearings aids to improve performance in multiple environments. Karen agreed this brand and type was a good choice for me, however I was really surprised when she stated I only needed a Quattro 5. Basically, I opened the door for her to sell me a more expensive model, but she was firm with her position that she could correct my hearing loss with the less expensive one. She guaranteed that if I was not completely satisfied, I could return them within 30-days for a full refund towards the higher model. My experience was life changing, from the day Karen set me up with my hearing aids and the application on my iPhone I have had great success with them. I wear my hearing aids every waking minuet of every day. In my opinion technology without proper management is usually a costly failure. Although, I have not required any type of intervention Karen and the staff at Hear More Associates has remained in contact with me, truly caring about my wellbeing and success.

AMatthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

CDigestive Health SpecialistsI found the doctors I interacted with very knowledgeable and informative during my three visits. However, the office is poorly managed. They are extremely unresponsive. For example, responses to messages left in the portal are not responded to. My most recent was sent 2 1/2 weeks ago with their knowledge. I had issues with a telehealth visit and told the office person I would be sending a message through the patient portal.- Sheila C.

CLiberator Medical Supply IncMy 3 month supply of catheters was held up for lack of renewal of doctor’s prescription. Standard procedure is to call doctors office for the new prescription. This was not done and no one told me. After almost running out, I called the doctor who issued a new prescription Still no action at Liberator and communication is so bad that no one could tell me if they received the prescription. The representatives tried to be helpful but couldn’t fight the out-modes system. They kept sending me emergency supplies three times so I wouldn’t run out. I still don’t know the status of my order, nor do the representatives. Maybe the company is too large for the system. Never had this kind of trouble with Liberator before.- Clyde N.

Hear More Associates being one of the best with the most reasonable solutions that I have found I am more than satisfied with my most recent purchase of a pair of behind the ear devices. A big improvement for my hearing. Karen was very patient and diligent to get my aids adjusted just right to my hearing loss which made a huge difference in the result- donald d.

DNortheast Urologic SurgeryThe level of unreliableness and incompetence of this place is appalling to say the least. From a long list of things to mention, the most frustrating things include being extremely difficult to call or contact back for things as nobody is at their desk to answer the phone! I had to call three separate times across a week as though I have that sort of time on my hands during the day, just to get a question answered about a bill and that is not even mentioning the ridiculousness of their billing system! Equally frustrating was their lack of communication leading to a waste of 3 hours of my time because nobody sent me communication stating that my appointment had changed to a telemed! I arrived on-site under the impression it was still on-site. To prove my point? Well the lady behind the counter admitted “EVERYONE” was coming on site that day. Thank you SOOO much for keeping me in the loop! I’m sure those folks will thank the heck out of you too! I’ll say one additional thing that was key to mention as this was the last straw for me. Yea, it gets better. So I tried multiple times to call back the doctor who was supposed to then telemed me. Guess what. No link to the telemed and the phone number was “No Caller ID”. In other words, his number was hidden and unreachable. Yea. I couldn’t even let him know what the problem was because there was no way to contact him back! Never again will I go here. This was one of the absolute stupidest business practice experiences of my life!- Christopher P.

AHear More AssociatesAfter having a hearing loss for 30 years (after cancer treatment) I finally put my foot down and told myself that I needed to invest in hearing aids. After doing a lot of footwork, I found Hear More Associates, along with many other companies , who i had previously met with and all they wanted to do was sell, sell, sell without giving me much explanation of each device, my hearing loss and they didn't seem to have compassion for my loss of hearing (almost like car salesmen). I first met with Karen, who is incredibility sweet, she completed my hearing test (which had the same results as all my other tests) which was a good sign because I've had some weird results (remember I've had this loss for 30 years so I've had many hearing tests). My results determined I needed hearing aids. A few weeks later I had an appointment with Karen to get my first pair of hearing aids, unfortunately Karen had to cancel my appointment due to personal matters (completely understandable, life happens!) this appointment was canceled on a Tuesday, and I had stated that I would like to be seen sooner rather than later, Charlie (the owner) saw me the next day (Wednesday)!! I was incredibly grateful and impressed by this action of kindness to see me with urgency. I met with charlie and we went over my hearing loss, my hearing aids, the functioning, care and overall use. We spent a little time adjusting the settings for my particular hearing loss and he made sure the settings were comfortable for me. I had a few questions ( sense this was my first time with hearing aids after never knowing "true sounds") and he had answered them all for me. Charlie told me if I needed anything to contact him right away and he will adjust what is needed or answer questions I have. I am very impressed and grateful for Charlie and Karen. I would also like to mention that I live out of state. I traveled an hour (one way) just to go to Hear More Associates.- Jamie H.

DWellesley Women's CareIn short: not well Long story: I was a long standing patient who was very loyal to her GYN. I switched insurances and was treated very differently. The nurses I interacted with were not knowledgeable. The professional staff (NPs, MDs etc) refused to contact me when I asked a direct question. It was excuse after excuse until finally I was billed an outrageous amount for a service which lead me to believe they are only after money from procedures as opposed to offering quality care. FRose City ClinicMy father is extremely ill. When Dr Mullen of Rose City Clinic retired, my father was told he could be automatically moved to Dr. Friend’s practice. Linda, their administrator, not only failed to transfer him to Dr Friend’s practice but also failed to notify him that he was not transferred. He found out 4 months later that he not only didn’t have a doctor but also had no refills on extremely crucial meds. When he expressed his confusion to Linda, she refused to clarify how this has occurred and, more upsettingly, went on the offensive. I can’t imagine a world where someone working in any profession, not to mention a health profession, is allowed to act like this.- Sara S.

AHear More AssociatesI went to Hear More Assoc after much prodding by family. I was greeted by friendly staff and was able to get an appointment quickly. After my test, it was determined that I had a hearing loss. I purchased two hearing aids. They are comfortable, lightweight and discreet. The price was reasonable, my children actually compared Hear More's prices with other providers in the area and Hear More prices were significantly less. This was life changing for me. I didn't realize how much I was missing. Before I would avoid large social gatherings, now I look forward to them. I find myself interacting and enjoying life again. I can't say enough about the staff and providers, Karen and Charlie. I was treated with respect from the moment I walked in the door. I would highly recommend Hear More.
