Hazard Remediation reviews in Burlington

As a first time buyer, it was very helpful having Mohan explain the various aspects of a home, down to the very minute detail, to know what to expect if we were to purchase a home. It allowed us to realize that the first place we saw wasnt as good as we thought, and for our second location, the inspection reassured that the home was worth purchasing. The report that comes out afterward is very helpful especially with the many photos Mohan takes throughout the process, and the request list that you can set up allows for easy explanation to the various professionals that well use to address issues. Knowing what is a priority as opposed to a future repair eased our concern about budgeting additional costs to a home purchase. Mohan was very professional and did a great job teaching us about what it takes to take care of a house.

Outstanding! I contacted multiple companies for a quote. AquaDry Plus was the only one that didn't try to use scare tactics to over charge me for mold remediation and they were careful to only remove what needed to remove. The post mold test passed with flying colors. AquaDry Plus gave me great service at a reasonable price. I would definitely do business with them again and would recommend them to friends and family.

Short story: Friendly, profesional, responsive, very reasonably priced. Longer story: had the system installed in 2010, everything went smoothly and levels dropped from above 5 to below 1. Fast forward 6 years when I realize the fan doesn't seem to work anymore. I call the number I had and leave the message and I get a call back from Eino within a couple of hours. This was on a Saturday! The job was finished on Monday. A+

I was in a bind, my closing date got moved up and we found mold in my attic.  I called Guy and asked when he could provide the work.  He said three weeks.  I said, how about by next Wednesday.  Guy was able to fit me in (on a Saturday!) and get the work done and mold certificate to me in time.
VERY happy with the work and will definitely recommend in the future.

Tom was very professional. He was very quick in scheduling the visit followed by quote. He answered all the questions. He was willing to accommodate changes to schedule and also my request to do the work in phases. His team on site was very professional they provided excellent support and  I liked the outcome of the work.
I highly recommend Tom and team. I really appreciate the level of support and customer feel that Tom provided during the entire transaction.
    Thank you!!

I was contacted promptly by Caroline and was able to have installation scheduled for the following week.-I  was even offered a small discount to have the work done the following week which was win-win as I had no need or desire to wait. Based on the reviews I read and the longevity of the company (another reviewer said Eagle fixed a fan 14 years after originally installed - that's impressive) and the price, I committed. I was emailed documents promptly. I found out after I booked the appointment with Eagle that the excellent home inspector I  had used  was using Eagle for his own house and this also made me feel assured.  The workman showed up promptly and did the work cleanly and quickly within the time stated. It could not have been easy to get the exterior of my house with all the snow - but he did it.  I am awaiting the mail-in test to see what the levels are but trust Eagle will come out again if the levels are not what they guarantee. Pending the results of the mail-in test, I am quite pleased with all aspects of this company and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Note:  I only checked the box regarding the quality of services as  "not applicable" as  I don't have enough time with the system to determine how it will hold up - though it seems like a quality system well-installed. All other aspects of Eagle's services were excellent.

Hired to clean ducts.  I anticipated a straightforward and reasonably priced job, per the ad (gotta read the fine print).  I thought I was in for about $100-$200 but by the end it was $650 with up-sales.  They were very punctual and pleasant.  They have what I consider an unusual method of cleaning ducts.  They blow air into the ducts and then vacuum the main duct.  Seems this method would blow dust through the lines and out of the others.  We've had the ducts cleaned several times previously and I've not seen this method.  They missed the ducts in the finished portion of the basement.  They also cleaned the dryer vent but after they left I noticed the vent had disconnected and I had to reconnect it.
I was up-sold on a UV light for the furnace as a means of killing mold spores, also sold on cleaning the furnace motor.  Cleaning the motor was a good suggestion and the photos they took proved it was needed.  The UV light installation is another matter.  It sounded like a good idea at the time though, in my opinion, very expensive.  My post installation research has me very much on the fence about the effectiveness of this device.

They showed up on time. They started out with a thorough explantion of what they were going to do in terms of testing etc.  They did a thorough inspection of the inside and outside of the house.  Their report is on its way to me, but we already received on-the-spot explanations of the areas where they found lead, what we need to do to remediate it, etc.  Their advice was also helpful in terms of how we can take a 1-day deleading class ourselves to save money on having to have a deleader present when work is done in the future.  Would use them again when we have kids to reinspect and make sure the lead is all gone.

Had a great experience with Rainbow!! Made the entire experience which was my first with a water clogged finished basement w/ carpet as good as it can get. They came referred via my insurance company so not sure how much was the bill, but must've been just around 500/-. In general, I do not wish to be in a similar situation again but if I do, I will be calling Rainbow/ asking for them via insurance right away.

Morgan was referred to us by our buyer's agent, and he was incredible.  From the start he was very responsive about scheduling the inspection, and sent us detailed instructions in advance.  He spent 3.5 hours inspecting the exterior and interior of the home, pointing out the most minute of details.  He even crawled around in the attic for an extended amount of time, and did a lot of extra legwork examining why the heating system in the garage wasn't functioning properly.  He was clearly quite knowledgeable, he even had an assistant with him who was training.  This worked out great as an extra set of eyes that spotted leaking in the basement pipes when the whirlpool tub was turned on.
He was extremely thorough and took pictures and notes throughout, the inspection report was 50 pages of detailed comments/color pictures. The report was easy to understand, and included specifics about what needed to be fixed and how to go about doing it.   He summarized the main "principle" deficiencies that he felt were mandatory to fix right away, this was organized very well and prominently placed in the report for easy reference.  He was very personable and easy to interact with, he never made me feel like I was asking stupid questions.  He put things into perspective as to whether things were small problems or symptoms of big problems.
He detected high radon levels in the home and called us immediately with the report.  I called him back and he spent a good amount of time patiently answering all of my questions.
We were very pleased with the work and it was worth every penny.  I believe it is important not to cheap out on things like home inspections, especially given the large amount of time and money you will be investing in the future home.
