    Arrived one hour after scheduled time..I was there because of pain. Said he didn't treat it. Proposed reluctantly a treatment option but did not mention the long convalescence. Complained in a note that my conversation with him took too long.

    It was easy to get an appointment -- a pleasant contrast to Costco, where the wait is a couple of weeks or more. The person who tested my hearing was professional and straightforward, and there was a pleasant absence of sales pressure. He tested my hearing and listened to my concerns. He ordered two different sets for me to try and a week later he I came back. He had set them up to match my hearing loss and adjusted them for fit while I was there. I chose one of these sets and he took the time to make sure they fit perfectly, I came back after about 10 days for a final check and at my request, he did a hearing test with the hearing aids in place so we could verify that they were adjusted properly. They were, and they're very comfortable and provide excellent sound. (The ones from Costco sounded a bit tinny in addition to being uncomfortable.)
    Brookline Hearing Service is not inexpensive -- they're probably typical for a full-service audiology office. I got Oticon behind-the-ear devices for $3600 vs. the $2000 I would have paid Costco had I kept their Bernafon aids. But the results are worth it - the service was more thorough and patient, the hearing aids are just right, and you can get an appointment quickly if you need some adjustments.
    Wherever you get your hearing aids, don't keep them if they're not comfortable - all hearing aid providers will take them back if you return them within a trial period. Be sure to ask for a hearing test after they're fitted to verify that they're correcting your hearing. I had to ask for that at Brookline Hearing, but they were happy to do it and it takes just a few minutes.

    I see them for everything from primary care to specialized medicine and though some individuals doctors need to go back to bedside manner classes the professionals I deal with now are awesome.

    When she recently cancelled an appt. the doctor personally called her to reschedule and inquire about her health,etc. My daughter now lives on another coast, but when she had a procedure performed by another physician on the west coast, she called Dr. Haft with concerns, etc. about the after care. Dr. Haft responded and then made a follow up phone call. This is a caring and effective doctor.

    Extraordinary doctor in knowledge and caring. I didn't know that MDs like Dr. Friedman still existed in this day and age. He is caring, he explains things clearly, he answers questions, and he followed up with a phone call to me at home to see how I was doing. More healthcare providers should be like this.

    I never have to wait when I come to this office (unless I'm early!) The staff is very friendly, and the doctor is wonderful! I trust him with my heart...which is my most vital organ. I have been having cardiac stress tests every year since my pericarditis.  After the test, Dr. Rice comes right into the room and reads it while I am still there, and gives me the results. He is a very warm and caring human being. How refreshing! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

    I have been having my yearly gynecological exam with Dr. Reilly at NE OB GYN Associates for the last 30 years. He is a wonderful, giving physician. I highly recommend him and the other physicians in his practice.

    Visits with Dr. Goldsmith go well.  He is very punctual, which is very nice if one has a tight schedule.  (In years past, I had a doctor  whom I liked very much, but I had to block an afternoon, because sometimes the wait was 2 hours!)  As usual, the visit was great, Dr. Goldsmith offering his superb medical knowledge and care.

    He is accessible and he spends a lot of time with people. He listens and he seems able to assess what the patient is saying and what they will do and what they won't do. I have been generally pleased with him. He provides good medical care.

    He is absolutely excellent. He saved my life because he detected and pursued the possibility of a breast cancer tumor, which mammogram had not caught. And because of his expertise and persistence it was caught, even though it was at stage three. I would use him in the future.
