The Vet sits on the floor with the pets. He knows what he is doing he is professional. Loves the dogs and takes care of them. I call for an appointment and they make it the same day if its early in the morning.

It went great as always! Bonnie is a people and pet person, and took care of my concerns and my cats. Would very highly recommend. Very convenient instead of having to travel with two cats back and forth to the Vet. Have used them for years.

We have a very high strung miniature schnauzer.  Heather came into our home took her for a walk, gave her fresh water, nibbies and a head massage.  I came home and my dog was not tramatized like she is when she goes to the vet and groomer.  Heather is wonderful and available at a moments notice.  Highly recommended!

They are very good.  When my daughter comes up, she has two dogs so she is going up there too.  I like the doctors especially the one that I have, Dr. Chris, he takes all my dogs.  They are very understanding.  They are very good with the animals.  The place is nice and clean.  If you make an appointment and you can?t keep it or something, there is no problem.  They will try to fit you in at another time.  The staff is very nice.  I have no complaints about them.  The office environment is very nice and they are very good with animals.  I had dog, all my dogs were usually stray or rescued or something like that, and he was living in the cemetery across the street because somebody just left him there.  I was walking my dog who escaped from the pound and everytime I walk him there, he comes down for a walk with us.  He was friendly and all but then he would not follow but when we leave he would start barking, so that meant that he did not want us to leave.  My friend made some hamburgers and we made a trail to our house and we got the dog here.  Since we did not know anything about him, he had some scuff or something.  We put him outside and he stayed there like a nice good dog and we took him to one Vet for an emergency check up and they would not even look at him.  So we took him to Lloyd Animal Medical Center, the first thing the vet said that he was a great dog and he fixed him.  They treated and cleaned him and gave him his shots.  When my dogs died, one was 17 and the other was 18.  So I swear I would not go to anybody else.  I went to a veterinarian one time, he wanted to put something on my dog which my dog did not like.  The vet was not patient with my dog and my dog did not like him and was afraid of him.  But the vets at Llyod Animal Medical Center are great.

Most veterinarians are expensive and I don?t have complaints with their price.

They are very polite in advice. We have been using them for 20 years. The veterinarians and front desk staff are very good. They do a good job as far as grooming and care about your pets. They look into you when you want the grooming in a special day.

This fall a stray cat decided to befriend us.  As he gradually made his way into our home and hearts, we realized we had a problem.  We had a potential weekend business trip in December, planned prior to kitty joining the family.  He was enjoying his time in a warm home with food, water, and love.  We did not want to risk him outside in the elements, nor did we know him well enough yet to predict his behavior.  We toured several facilities in the area, but Home Away from Home stood out among the others.  No need for an appointment, I dropped by on more than one occasion to see the kitty area and ask about their policies.  What first grasped my attention were many thank you cards displayed in the lobby.  Then I saw a clean, well-kept play area for dogs directly off that entrance.  Animals appeared happy and were promptly taken from their parents in a kind and nurturing manner.  I spoke to the owner who was very nice and she informed me that they lived on the premises in a house in front of the boarding facility.  The cat area is one large room, a whole floor of the house, located steps above the entry lobby. Filled with sun and containing large windows, there is a glass wall that encloses the room, but also provides for easy viewing for both animals and their caretakers.  We requested a double condo, and extra play time since our cat is not used to being confined for long periods of time.  We explained his quirks of not drinking water unless he sees it coming from a sink, and his hesitance to use a litter box.  Nothing was a problem as they were willing to do whatever we asked in soothing his weekend stay.  We noticed a sofa, play tunnels and tents, toys, and music playing in the background.  The area was spotless with no odors.  We saw a kitchenette area with a sink and a small refrigerator.  Animals could be heard from the reception area below if necessary, and there was regular monitoring.  Cats rotated independent time out of their condos.  Imagine our delight when, one day into our trip, we received photos showing our kitty settling into his environment!  We also read about his behavior, and we could see him using the "amenities."  They kept our cell phones and e-mail addresses on file in case of emergency.  We received a second written progress report towards the end of our trip, with additional photos.  Prior to this weekend, we were concerned about leaving our new family member as we did not want him to think we were abandoning him.  He returned home, however, as sweet as ever.  He is now back to his regular routine and we are relieved we can leave him in the care of Home Away from Home if we must travel away from ours.  Thank you very much to all who cared for our kitty during our absence!

Initial great contact and friendly environment. Time managaement needs improving as care taker was often late or forgot my appointment. Last two weeks, the phone is not accepting calls, so no information as to whether the business is running or not. This happened before. Need to look for a new groomer!!!

We've been using them for about a year and half and they are phenomenal. They took care of two of our sick cats and nursed them back to health. Their prices are higher, but they have the current degrees and technology.

I have been going to Brockton Animal Hospital for over 25 years. All of the staff are professional and empathetic with my concerns. I have lost 3 dogs during this time and the staff couldn't have been kinder. During routine checkups the doctors are thorough and take all the time you need to answer questions and address concerns. If a sudden illness or accident occurs (one of my dogs was hit by a car requiring x-rays etc) they are wonderful. Their pricing is consistent with other vets in this area. I would not go anywhere else for my pets medical care.

I can't say enough about Dana but, to give you an idea of how strongly I feel about her, I will never move away from her service area as long as I have pets! Dana consistently goes above and beyond the normal pet services and I have referred several people to her.
She always leaves a and quot;visit noteand quot; to let me know whether the dogs did their and quot;businessand quot; and any other tidbits, but for me, I like that it lets me know she's been there. I've had to hire backups when Dana is on vacation and I never know if they've actually been there...I'm used to the notes! :) Speaking of vacations, Dana never took any during the first years of starting her business but now does so, apologetically. She recognizes it's difficult for me to make vacation arrangements and feels bad. Of course, she deserves time off but it speaks to her personality that she cares about my situation so much. Additionally, she is flexible with my vacation/sick time off.
Dana has had to raise her prices over the years but I believe it has only happened roughly 5 times since I've been a client. I don't know how her fees compare to other pet services but she offers the intangibles that I doubt others do. Not that I or anyone should expect it but, as a long time client, Dana has even brought me medicine when I was too sick in bed to get it myself. Among the too many things to name, she has picked up my cat from the vet during a snowstorm, cleaned up plenty of poop and vomit, and best of all, loved and cared for my precious pets. All my 'babiesand quot; love her, even my very shy dog Harley.
Dana is the consumate professional but at the same time friendly and down to earth. I HIGHLY recommend her.
