    The only thing I can really say is never sign anything with them online. They never told me that you have to cancel it within three days and I was never able to get a copy of  the contract before the three days had expired.

    The installation was great, the way the installers ran the wires (all neatly tied down) show how much they care about what they do. The finished install went like clock work, they arrived when they said they would, and they were very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company.

    It's merely a matter of installing detectors on windows and doors as needed.  I would have preferred more door and window sensors and not as many motion detectors.  I have recommended the service to others. 
    Make sure you have all ground level doors and windows connected.  
    Motion detectors are nice, but if you have animals be careful.
    I'd recommend two base stations, one in the master bedroom (in case you wish to turn it off at night) and one at the entry. 
    The remote works well, too.  But I would not attach it to my key chain.  If you lose your keys, you could find yourself on the receiving end of a burglary. 
    Remember, an alarm system is great, but police get there after the fact.  A shotgun is a good option.

    It was extremely easy to set up and the monitoring service has been excellent. When we had a problem with the cellular connection, they quickly walked our neighbor, who was caring for the house, through the procedure needed to reconnect the system. They have always responded quickly and professionally  to any question we had about the system.

    The installer was extremely polite. He even put these little booties on over his shoes to protect my rugs. He was so patient showing me everything my alarm would do! He took extra time to show me things two and three times making sure I understood how to use the system. I'll be recommending them to everyone I know!!

    I ordered a Simplisafe system through Angie's List. The price was very good, less than half of what I would have paid directly from the company. The equipment arrived within a few days. The equipment included one motion monitor, a siren, key board, four entry sensors, a freeze monitor, signs and the base set. It was very easy to install and activate. It took about 90 Minutes to completely alarm the house and set up the equipment. You might consider ordering an additional motion monitor if you own a larger house.
    The system uses a cellular connection to the monitoring center, which eliminates the need for hard wiring of the equipment. The sensors are all equipped with long life batteries and are mounted with non-permanent adhesive strips which are provided with the equipment. We began with basic monitoring which was very inexpensive, but have upgraded to monitoring which can be controlled on line when we are away from home. You are allowed to have multiple entry codes, which enables you to know exactly who has entered the houses. These can also be set or altered on line. We are very pleased with the system and would recommend it to anyone.  The system is also portable, so if you moved, you just take it with you to a new location.

    After seeing many positive reviews on AL and finding lots of bad ones for ADT. I decided to purchase the Big Deal offer. The equipment included in the package advertised was not exactly what I needed. A FrontPoint customer service rep told me the offer was customizable to my home. I made choices on equipment and the level of service for monitoring.
    The package arrived within a few days. It was simple to set up and activate. I like the system and service so much, I got my mom to purchase one as well. Recommending her for FrontPoint earned both of us a free month of service.
    Every time I call, I get a person. I've never been put on hold by a computer to wait on hold until "another customer service rep was available"
