    Antrim Coast Painting LLC
David and his crew of Jamal and Chris did a FANTASTIC job! The prep work alone was meticulous, thorough and beyond what wed experienced the last time we had the house painted. David consulted with us every step of the way if anything unexpected came up or a decision needed to be made. His care and professionalism shows in how beautiful our 100 year old home looks once again! His attention to the details of the job reflected his true passion for the work that he does. What a pleasure it was to have him restore our old, weathered house to its former glory.

    Toni Family Cleaning
Toni is THE BEST professional I have ever hired. He is a great man first and foremost, nice, kind and honest. He is highly responsive and careful, committed to the jobs and finished the jobs beautifully with high quality. There is no doubt that I will hire him back for any service he can provide. I highly recommend his service. The price he charged for the jobs are reasonable.

Rafael and his team did a great job on our porch painting. He is very professional, on time, and nice to deal with. His suggestion of power washing the surfaces and adjacent stone pathways was a good idea as we had a lot of moss build up. The prep and painting went smoothly, and Rafael even went the extra mile by removing an old eyesore basketball hoop from the nearby garage roof for us. Also he helped us by replacing some missing vinyl up in the roof eaves where birds were getting in. We were very happy to have this job done, and would highly recommend Rafael and his team. A+

First off, let me say that I could not recommend Paul more highly. His professionalism and work ethic were off the charts. I did not know Paul Brennan before hiring him, and boy am I glad I did!!! The house in question is the house grew up in and lived at for 30 years. It's a multi family, duplex house, approximately 2100 square feet (not including the basements, which are pretty large, running the full length of the house from front to back. Have finally decided to sell the house, and after renting for may years, the interior was in dire need of a make over. As I am selling the property, quality and speed of job completion were of utmost importance to me. I called 4 companies, all gotten from Angies List. I started with just painting 1/2 of the duplex as I still had a tenant in the other half. I also asked each company to bid painting the walls, ceilings, trim, and radiators of this particular side of the duplex and also a separate bid for painting the cellar floor and walls. Pauls bid was in the middle of the 4 bids I received. Specifically $5,000 for the painting of the main living area (3 rooms and a pantry), 2 bedrooms upsstairs, 2 stair hallways and ceilings, plus a finished attic room. The cellar was priced at $1700, as it was a big job, as the floors and walls were in dire need of work. I went with Paul as the vibe I got when talking with him was the best out of the 4 companies I met with. His bid came in ahead of the others (timewise) and his scope of worked matched exactly what I was hoping to do. Paul provided the colors, white trim and a neutral beige wall paint (which my wife loved). As I am selling the house, quality and speed were of utmost importance to me. I gave Paul the job in early September. He and members of his team were going to Ireland for a vacation the following week, so i was a little skeptical on when they could get the job done. Any event, his team (unbeknownst to me) worked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, completing entirely the interior painting of the house. I did not even know they had started and when I stopped by the house the Wednesday after, I was stunned, to put it mildly. The quality of what they did verses the speed with what they did was off the charts. Blew my mind. the trim, walls, and ceilings were completely finished and the quality was fantastic. I was most grateful in that they patched all the walls, as some were pretty banged up, removed and restored handrails, etc... I tend to be anal about things like this and all I could say was "great job". They were very very clean, no collateral damage ever happened. When they came back from vacation, they finished the radiators and then the cellar. The cellar was pretty much a mess, floor peeling, walls dirty. Paul and his team cleaned it up great and then painted the floor grey, the walls white. It came out much much better than I had expected. He mentioned how it kept just "sucking the paint up". Even after competing he noticed a couple of spots on the floor weren't up to what his standards were and then applied another coat of paint, without my even mentioning. As the painting of 1/2 of the duplex went so well, I then asked him to give me a price for the other half. The cost was $3200 for the walls, hallways and trim, 3 ceilings (some of the ceilings did not need to be painted) and then another $1700 for the other basement cellar. Was no surprise to me this time when he and his team completed the entire job in 4 days, with the same quality as the other side. One of the greatest things about working with Paul is how responsive he was to questions, etc... If i texted him he would typically respond right away. Something i forgot to mention was when the companies bid for the job, I also asked them to include "power washing" the outside of the house (as part of the price). Paul told me that is not something they typically do, but didn't hesitate in performing the task. He did an outstanding job there as well. Another note here, after hiring Paul, I realized many of the outside screens of the house had been removed by the tenants so they could put in air conditioning units. As I didn't have a ladder that would reach that high I asked Paul if I could pay him to install the screens. Long story short, he put the screens in and didn't charge me a dime for doing so. He's not a nickel and dime guy and in my experience, go's above and beyond to meet a customers needs I needed an electrician for a bunch of different tasks and asked Paul if he knew of anyone and he recommended Keith Coyne. I told Paul what needed to be done and Paul coordinated the work with Keith. That made things much easier for me as I really only had to interface with Paul. Really helped me out there as I knew anyone recommended by Paul would do a great job. I gave Paul no money up front. He said when the job is complete to my satisfaction, to then pay. I paid when the first half of the duplex was completed and then again after the 2nd half was completed. I would recommend and use Paul again in a heartbeat. To me, he and his team were like ninja painters, with the speed and quality of the work they did. I have had many compliments to the work performed. He really enabled me to get the house on the market sooner than I had expected.

They were easy to communicate with, came very quickly and made the deck look amazing.  I expected the deck to be good, but they did all of the rails, all of the sides, everywhere that wood is showing.  It looks 100% better now.

Fabricio DaSilva came on time and spent 3 hours to power wash the house. He was very patient to explain that some area
couldn't be cleaned due to the underlying aluminium got rusted/aged. He made suggestion how to correct the problem which
helps. He is friendly and pleasant to work with. Yes, we will use him again in the future.

    power cleaning
The provider was unprofessional, didn't show up, and didn't answer calls. Such a shoddy treatment of a customer who had already been charged. Didn't call me after I purchased the deal, I had to call them. Told me there would be additional charges for storm windows--not mentioned in the "deal". They obviously couldn't handle the volume the deal generated, because they weren't available for 2 month. And then to top it all off, they didn't come at the scheduled time and wouldn't respond to my calls. I totally agree with the other reviewer who said: "They suck". That is the bottom line.

    Daddy And Junior Paint, Inc
We researched painting companies on Angie's list and contacted four companies for proposals. Rodolfo (The Junior or Daddy and Junior) responded and came to our home to give us a proposal for painting the interior and exterior of a large two family home and garage. Rodolfo was very professional and courteous when he arrived. He walked through the home, took detailed notes, asked a lot of questions and gave advice on ways to complete the project and materials to use. Rodolfo told me he would have his proposal to me by Noon the following day and at 11:00AM the following morning I had his very detailed and specific proposal. Of the four companies we looked at Daddy and Junior had the most detailed proposal and was the only one to have it in on time. In fact we never received a proposal from one company. Once the work started Rodolfo's professionalism escalated. He arrived every morning with his crew and walked them through every step of what he wanted done. He would walk through with us what we could expect for the day. He would tell us how long they would be there that day and when we could expect them to return the next day. They were always on time, always polite and courteous and I could not e happier with the work that they did. Our home has not looked this good in many years.
I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a professional and reliable painting company to call Rodolfo at Daddy and Junior Painting.

    power cleaning
Jr's  reviews were so great I purchased a/The Big Deal hoping to have the windows cleaned for the summer months.  I had planned to add  power-washing  at extra cost so we could also get the deck cleaned.  I misunderstood the scheduling  process believing that because A.List promotes the deal  'the merchant will contact you ' immediately I waited for a call . When it didn't come, I contacted vendor via Rapid  Connect  hoping to expeditiously establish the appt.  Rapid Connect: I email vendor who eventually responds that i must call them.  I  am unable to make personal calls during my very busy " normal business hours"  and rely upon email for tasks which I cannot address until after midnight .  I  believe that it's inappropriate to call a vendor at 2am.!  Fast forward 3 weeks later, I receive an email,  ironically through Rapid Connect, that  the  vendor is booked thru the end of October. I'd hoped to get windows and deck cleaned by July/ early August prior to my 84 year old Dad's drive up here from S.  Florida for his annual  visit.  Because getting work done  is  not possible I will be forced to cancel my voucher and search for another service. The deck is covered with street filth & tree leaves as we approach Fall so  entertaining al fresco  is not feasible--- unless ---I run ovewr to Home Depot to purchase a power washer and a 3 story extendable  ladder , lug the equipment up the ladder & clean the windows and deck myself.   It's not the vendor's fault  the system does't function well.  Angie's List permits vendors to sell  too many Deals at one time and our experience has been: vendors get overwhelmed , and unless the customer has unending availability to make and receive personal calls  during the day , in the end it's a loose -loose -loose situation.  Customer spends time and money but  cannot get the work done,  Angie's List looses their profit, and the vendors loose a potential, long-term ,repeat customer.  As always, if it involves deadlines, pester the  neighbors for referrals, pay full price and  just get the work  done.

    Socelvic Co
Socelvic Company replaced my back deck, which was made of fur and pressure treated wood, with red mahogany. My contact with Celio Vicente, the owner, was very good. When the job was taking place, he spent a lot of time at the site and communicated with me frequently and well. He made me feel like I was his only client at the time (and I know that I was not). The crew that worked on the deck were outstanding -- super professional, very highly skilled, and extremely hardworking (in harsh, brutally hot weather conditions). They replaced the deck in about a week's time, working full days all weekend to get the job done.

When they pulled out the old deck, the crew found rot and damage to the frame and sub floor of the deck. Celio called me and scheduled a meeting the next day to talk about the additional work that would be needed to repair and replace that structure and he provided a change order in writing later that day. I felt good about the clarity of that communication.

I was surprised, however, to learn at the end of the job that the balance was higher than we had agreed upon - more than $2000 higher. I was told that "the materials cost more than we had estimated," and I was presented with receipts. I was disappointed to learn about this higher cost after the work had been completed. I would have preferred being informed of the materials costs along the way, as I was working within a budget. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the work on the deck, which looks beautiful and I know I will enjoy it for years to come. I recommend Socelvic for deck repair/replacement.
