Pretty good, they came out and did their thing. There is an understanding if someone has an mouse, they would respond, and come out. They did not come out, and forgot about it. They don't have to respond, but they have to be fair when you need help.

I used the online form to submit a request for a quote to rid the condo of fleas. Megan G. called back within 10 minutes on a Sunday. Megan told me about the two service plans they offered and the prices. Both plans treated the inside and the outside of the house and came with an extended warranty which I don't think I needed.  When I told Megan that neither of the plans worked for me she asked me to hold for a moment. I was ready to end the call as I had inquired with competitors. She came back a few moments later and offered a plan to treat just the condo and it came with a 30 day warranty. The price was very competitive and they could come right away. If anybody knows about fleas, they get worse very quickly, so the timing was crucial. I still wasn't sure if I wanted to get the service, so I asked Megan to call me back in the afternoon so I could make up my mind. She called back exactly when I asked her to. She sold me the plan. She sent me notes on how to prepare for the exterminator.

The competitors called me back on Monday afternoon. I guess they weren't that interested in my business.

Megan is an excellent customer service person. She was persistent, but not pushy and very polite. As someone who routinely avoids sales people, I found her to be just right.

In the end, I decided to try and rid of the fleas myself, but if I can't get rid of them this time, I will definitely call Megan back. I was so impressed by her, I wanted to write this review.

My experience with Orkin's customer service was A+

    Thank you Megan!

Came within reasonable times as estimated. Very thorough. The serviceman spent at least 4hrs fixing issues in the basement and then another hour or so when they came back to spray for ants an reinspect. Very thorough and professional.

UPDATE: The company called, explained the $500 offer was intended for houses rather than condos.  They refunded me a portion of the fee, which I believe brought me to a more fair price.  I appreciated the call, and the explanation that a 6 month warranty was also included in the price.  I explained frustration that the technician declined to check the rest of the apartment, and I think the advertising is false. You shouldn't say "specialized equipment" and explain the benefits of a HIPA filter if you are going to use a spray bottle and paper towel.  The manager did not respond to these concerns, but did offer to send a different technician for our follow up visit.  I appreciated the responsiveness, but I still resent that I had to do the worst of the cleaning on my own after I paid them for the service.

The first gentleman did not show up in the 7am-7:30am half hour window, though we agreed I had to leave by 7:30am for work.  We rescheduled.  The special service was stuffing copper wool in the holes for 15 minutes, and the specialized equipment for sanitizing the space proved to be paper towels.  The work in total was about 20 minutes, but it took about 40 (he had a call come in).  Before you buy - determine if you really need $500 of service if you have a condo rather than a house.  If you still think you need it, buy $10 worth of copper wool from the hardware store, $20 worth of traps, and move your own stove.

They have been great. I haven't had any problems. I'm on a quarterly program. The guy who comes to my house is the one who has been doing it for the last 3 years. He is awesome. He calls and lets me know he's coming. They are very good. I like the technician. He gets the cobwebs in the corners and he is very good. The price is inline with others; it's not cheap but it's also not the most expensive.

Did not decisively address the root cause of the problem, which was means of entry for rodents.
Did advise that this should be attended to but was just as happy to continue to trap rodents.
Stonewalled on sending forms to Boston Inspectional Services as I requested and never
    sent them.
Did not resolve problem with pests but seemed to prefer that  pest problem continue so
that they would continue to collect fees.
Could have easily done without their services.
Pest problem was resolved when I hired a handy man to clean cellar and block
entry of rodents throughout perimeter of house.
Also handiman filled holes and blocked pest entry in each of 2 apartments
Tenants removed food that could be accessed by rodents.

I was plagued with mice and really despaired I would ever get rid of them no matter how much I did on my own.

I can't say enough good things about NW Pest Control. They are excellent and I no longer worry about mice in my house. I recommend them highly!

I regret buying a year round package. Even though I submitted 100's of samples,  the entomologist reported states that  I submitted lint and food particles.  This is  not correct:  I provided fully intact insects on many of the samples; something in the kitchen and in my office is  biting us.  They treated anyway, prior to having an entomologist report, which I suppose was ok, because I was desperate for relief in here. I cannot possibly have guests until the situation is resolved. However, upon receiving the entomologist's findings I have not scheduled the remaining pre-paid treatments - what's the point ?  We definitely have a silverfish infestation and with a chronic water infiltration issue from gutters and a terrible HoA, I imagine there are other issues as well. Our vet  reported, much to my chagrin and shock, after ther first  treatment, that she saw evidence of  "flea dirt" on my dog - yet, we are on a monthly flee prevention program and have been for years.  We continue to  see beetles, silverfish, moths. Our clothing in drawers and in closets ( stored in  protective bags)   have tiny tears which could be evidence of carpet beetles  and silverfish,  or holes , evidence of moths and perhaps silverfish.
Since last treatment, I've been contacted  by email to schedule the next treatment as part of our treatment package  but I see no benefit  to treatment if, according to the vendor, there is nhing to treat.
Communication is difficult- everything is filtered through the office staff:  messages are misinterpreted by the tech and I misinterpret his responses because they are filtered thru the office staff. I admit, due to the nature of my job,  I am difficult to reach. But it would be helpful if I were permitted  to converse with the tech directly.

I have pests in my home that may be fleas, may not be.  I still don't
know and it's been two months.  In working with them, they sent out
different people each time, there was little communication among all the
    people who were sent out.
They treated my home, but didn't
follow up with a phone call ever.  When I called to say that there were still
pests, they didn't express sympathy, and only told me the price of yet
another a service call.  I would never work with them again.  And I'm
still stuck with unidentified pests.  Will try another pest control
company recommended by Angie's list to see if I get more satisfaction.
I'm very disappointed and still stuck with pests.
Some of the people who work with them are polite - but there's no
consistency - and my problem is not solved.  One would think they would
want to solve my problem.  It seems they just want to nickel and dime

Brian was easy to communicate with over e-mail, and very responsive. He was especially good about safety for my 2 cats. When one of the infestations remained active after 2 weeks (due to the size of the nest) he came back on short notice to consult with my carpenter. He was highly professional and empathetic throughout.
