    Everything went smoothly. I made an appointment by email and asked to have my vehicle picked up and returned to my house. I was contacted the day before to confirm and again as the technician left the shop to pick up my vehicle. I was contacted again when the technician was on the way to return my vehicle. The vehicle looks great!

    The first time I used them, I was in the position of facing a very, very expensive repair on an older car and most mechanics in the area were trying to do a complete overhaul and I was just going to dump the car at that point. So I just happened to call around and I called these guys and they were very, very familiar with my kind of vehicle and they said that they know this kind of car and that they can fix it for much, much less. And so, the fact that they didn’t try to talk me to do an expensive repair, they knew what they were doing, and they have never tried to talk me into anything or scare me. So I don’t worry about getting cheated on anything and I really trust their judgement.

    Since purchasing this certified preowned vehicle in October 2013, I have had numerous problems with the vehicle that one would not expect from a car that claims to pass a rigorous certification process to be sold as a certified preowned vehicle.  The CARFAX provided prior to the purchase was a clean one with no incidents reported.  The biggest problem I encountered was the front drivers side fender ��� there was always a loud rattling when driving at highway speeds.  I brought the vehicle in MANY times and finally they were able to determine that the fender was not properly secured to the frame (i.e. loose screw). 


    In December 2015, I was trading this vehicle for a new car at another dealership.  I didn���t get the best deal on the trade and at that point learned that the vehicle had been in 2 car accidents prior to my purchase in October 2013.  These accidents were not disclosed to me prior to the purchase.  I wouldn���t expect a vehicle with 2 accidents to be marketed for sale as a certified preowned vehicle.


    While I appreciate the Toyota brand, I cannot say I would do business with Toyota of Braintree in the future.

    Very high pressure experience.  They told me they would honor a TrueCar price that I printed from the web.  They then said that price did not include an $895 destination fee.  That was added to the price I paid.  Upon further research it is clear to me that the price did include the destination fee.  I got a 63 month loan.  Ever hear of a 63 month loan?  Neither have I.  They sold me a non Toyota warranty without telling me it was not a Toyota warranty.  (They did swap this out after I complained.)  They took a trade on a car that was owned jointly without getting the co-owners signature.  I think that they didn't want my wife to question the TrueCar price.  The RMV has advises that it was done improperly.
    I am extremely displeased.  There must be better choices.

    Danial was very prompt and efficient. He repaired the car on time and even with very short notice (we had a breakdown) and we were even able to get our other primary car brakes replaced afterwards and within 24 hours we had the primary car back too. We feel we got a good deal on auto work and Daniel did his best work for us. We will be seeing him again in the future for repairs.

    Unfortunately problems arise when you do not expect them. Advance alignment has provided immediate services for significant issue when safety was involved and worked with us to plan around our schedule for less significant issues. We have not had to have a redo on services and the guys are great about explaining what was going on. They provide options when costs are an issue and overall the quality of work has been great.

    Firestone Complete Auto Care Store
    This is for the BRAINTREE MA Location on Granite Ave.
    Called Firestone and spoke with John. He was helpful in walking through different pricing and options and gave me estimates on the phone for all the work. I inquired about the different times that were available for servicing my truck that would work into my schedule. They were accommodating. I had said, let me call you back once I can iron out my schedule. I had also called another major care care center that gets good reviews and went through the same pricing and options. Their parts were exact matches or comparable. However their price was 40% HIGHER and the local dealer was 50% more. I called Firestone and originally booked service for Monday 7:30AM. Sunday morning I called to see about dropping the truck off early that issues. We walked over the paper work and all was in good order. The staff were polite and courteous. Sunday afternoon about 4:45pm I received a call from the shift manager letting me know they mechanics were able to complete the work on Sunday due to a number of appointment cancellations and that all was complete, except for an alignment. He indicated that I definitely needed an alignment and that could take place in the next 45 minutes. I was even able to speak with the mechanic that worked on my truck to inquire about its state of affairs and condition of other components (incidentally it rolled 100K). I picked up the truck at 5:30pm and all was in good order. I was happy and satisfied with the repairs.

    I found a used car I was researching to buy through The price was right, Carfax report was clean and it was a Subaru being sold by a Subaru Dealership.  I figured that as a long time Subaru customer, I would be safe buying a used car here. I emailed the dealer and made an appointment for a test drive. I get to the Dealership and the sticker price was $2,500 more than what the website showed. The Salesman greeted me and said that there is a web price and a dealership price. I asked, which one applies?! He advised the I could get the web price. So we take the test drive and the brakes made noises and the engin light went on. The Salesman shook his head in defeat. We get back to the dealership and the Salesman meekly asked if I would like to make an offer. I did, but stated that the Engine issues and the brakes would need to be repaired prior to my taking possession. The salesman agreed to have these issues taken care of. I picked up the vehicle and it appeared all issues were taken care of as promised.
    In MA, once the buyer takes possession of the car after the sale, he/she has 7 calendar days to have the vehicle inspected. I took the car down to Totten Pond Gulf in Waltham who I have taken my other Subaru to in the past. I get the call from Eddy at Totten Pond Service a few hours later stating the I needed rotors on all for wheels and that it appeared that "whom ever" services the vehicle previously had performed "on the cheap" brake service. I believe that it was to get the car sold! As I lost all trust in the Dealership I purchased this car from, I told Eddy to go ahead and "get it done". So I spent $700+ at Totten Pond cause I knew that they would DO IT RIGHT! I spoke to the Salesman at Subaru of Wakefield and he said I should have called him...he would have made it right. I said, that his promises ring hollow and that I will take my business elsewhere. Buyer beware!
