AMcCabe's Garage DoorI needed to replace my garage door. Duane was very friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and efficient. He helped me decide on the right door for my needs. He ordered the door and equipment, and when it was ready, he and his assistant installed it in a morning. He also fixed a stud that was pulling away in my garage to attach the door hanger frame (which closed up a draft, so that my garage is now warm in the winter!). He clearly explained all the features of the door and the opener as well as yearly maintenance that I can perform. The door has worked perfectly since he installed it two months ago. I definitely recommend him, and I will use him the future for any of my garage door related needs.- Keith G.

Showed me options courteously safely and distanced. Received the quote the same evening, and the next day, scheduled it via email to take place when the doors were in stock. Received a call when they were in, and they were able to schedule me in just a couple days later. It was the dead of winter and about zero degrees out, but the two-man team had these beasts installed (and the old ones removed) all during daylight hours. What an absolute treat to have whisper-quiet garage doors, too. Fab quality, excellent workmanship, great service. I wish I had another garage so they could replace those doors too.- LN G.

AMcCabe's Garage DoorDuane came out and was painstaking in taking measurements. He gave me a quote on the spot. He also informed me that the company that supplied the wooden garage doors to McCabe's was slow. To my surprise the door arrived much sooner than expected. Duane had expedited its early arrival! When he installed the door, he was meticulous in his work. He went above and beyond by addressing a problem with our other garage door. Before he left, he made sure both doors were in good working order, removed the broken door and hardware, and cleaned his work area thoroughly. AMarcellos Design & BuildersI highly recommend Marcellos Builders and Design without reservation. My garage had to be demolished and rebuilt on the same footprint. Marcello’s work was perfect from start to finish. Marcello was meticulous in making sure all the measurements were correct. He oversaw the building of the new foundation consistent with the current building codes for the City of Newton. His carpenters who did the framing are the very best out there...doing such excellent work without taking any breaks, and their pride in their finished work, my new garage, was wonderful to behold. The siding and the painting were also great..careful, meticulous, two coats of paint, all looking just great!! I should also add that Marcellos has a great sense of design. He was helpful in picking out the right size windows. I look forward to having Marcellos Design and Builders do more renovations to this wonderful 1890 Victorian home. He is delightful to work with and follows through on all aspects of the project at hand. I am so glad to have found such a great contractor! DThe door were installed. One of the doors was not properly adjusted. Called the customer service, sent another team who stated it can't be adjusted. Ended up adjusting this myself. Weather strip was not installed due to the lack of professionalism of installers. Will have to install this myself. Keypad was not installed during the installation. They sent a different team to get this installed. I would recommend to shop around before signing a contract with this company unless you want to get involved in the installation process.

AIf you are lucky enough to have stumbled across finding Lourival and his crew than you should just hire him and call it a day! We spent months deciding on the pavers and materials and design of our project. Lourival was beyond patient with my indecisiveness and luckily still agreed to take the job! He is very professional, knowledgeable and skilled. His crew is also very professional, skilled and creative in on-site design and problem solving. They were invaluable to our project and I can honestly say that our paver patio and back stair landing would not be half as beautiful without their creative thinking and expertise. Lourival was instrumental in pitching water away from our foundation. We used to get puddles in our basement and have not had one drop of water since Lourival and his team expertly diverted the water away from the house. I truly wish I hadn’t delayed all spring and summer and had hired Lourival sooner! He completed the project at the end of August and did an incredibly beautiful job. AI hired Bob to install 2 new vanities and re-grout my 2 bathroom floors. He was very accommodating with my schedule and even offered to be the contact person when the vanities that were not coming with inside delivery arrived, saving me from having to take time off from work and finding two strong people to get them into my house! (He was working in my area and just offered to solve that problem for me without missing a beat.) Bob has done excellent work, the vanities and floors look great and he kept the price just under what he quoted me, which was very reasonable considering the work involved. He and his guys cleaned up after themselves and were polite and considerate of my property. Bob knows a lot about many, many things and I will definitely call him when I'm ready to start some other home improvement projects. I highly recommend him!

AThe end result is excellent However I did have to have them come back to clean up some messy areas with paint on the wood. They are very courteous about it and nice but it did take two tries.
