The team continued working while maintaining all safety measures, and he kept us updated on the progress with daily calls and messages. Raquel worked on the design, doing research and coming up with multiple options for every design choice, all with a smile and a genuine desire to come up with the best possible look for the house. AMA Design & Construction CoI used MA Design & Construction for my kitchen remodel. Raquel and Marc were very helpful in going through the options from painting the existing cabinets through to full replacement. We started with more modest changes but after debate ended with essentially their initial recommendation. The workers throughout the project were professional and I never felt uneasy with them being around the family. As the project progressed there were recommendations that Marc or Raquel would make which led to a better outcome. Marc would also pick out imperfections in the work and insure they were addressed which was appreciated. We're very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to work with them again.- nick c.

Marc came out right away to look at a large job on my downtown condo. He was extremely friendly, professional, and efficient. Together with Raquel they put together very detailed estimates for me very quickly. AAR Home Renovations CorpAndre and his team (Dimas and Junior) did a great job. All requested work was done and passed inspection. The work included the following: opening up a load bearing wall, changing all doors, refinishing the floors, creating a new bathroom from scratch, updating the kitchen, insulating 2 rooms, updating the electrical. Andre is very clear on what he can and cannot do and was accommodating when we had unusual requests. Because of Covid the progress was slower than expected. He has extensive experience and knowledge of the intricacies of building brand new homes and taking old 100+ year homes and remodeling them to be almost indistinguishable from new construction while still maintaining the character to give it a unique charm. He helped with digging a 5 feet foundation from a 220 year old home and understood what needed to be done in order to ensure a safe work environment and to maintain the structural integrity while making it as expansive as possible. More than his extensive skills and experience Andre is just a standup and honest person. He truly cares about the clients he works with and gives great ideas for what would will look nice and takes them through the process from the very beginning pre construction phases to end with excellent customer service. AD & R ConstructionEric's team rebuilt our entire three season room, which was not functional. It is now, thanks to Mike and Brian. It also looks very good! Mike works hard at getting things done, and teaches the younger crew very well. He is structured and trustworthy. He also was patient answering my questions (I always have too many..!). Brian pays great attention to detail! I was impressed by how good the tile work looks, and also how good the finishing of the decking to the landing looks like, which he did. They also had to partly redo the patio, and it looks better than before.- Natacha N.

AMA Design & Construction CoMA Design and Construction did a wonderful job on our kitchen and main floor remodel. Marc and Raquel helped my husband and I to vision an open floor concept, and they were available beyond their normal business hours to answer both design and installation questions (which we had quite a few). We felt comfortable to both call and text frequently to keep communication open, and they were willing to offer as much design input as possible to make those important decisions much easier. Even when issues arose (as is to be expected with major house projects), Marc was usually at the house that day or the following day to assess the issue and come up with solutions. The workers were polite, punctual, and professional (especially the painting team) who we grew to love! We will certainly use them for future house projects.- Bryan M.

Lindo quoted a competitive price and his team worked incredibly hard to meet our aggressive schedule. I was most impressed by how quick the team worked while still focusing on quality. The carpentry and painting were top notch. We have an old house and when we discovered some unexpected things during demo, they suggested great solutions and didn’t miss a beat, ensuring that the project stayed on schedule. They also kept a very clean workplace and everyone who worked at the house was friendly and professional. ATom did an excellent job on my basement renovation. He came and looked the project over in response to my quote request here on Angie's List and gave me some good feedback to make sure all of the framing I was working on would be ready and done correctly to be plastered. He was communicative and responsive via text and on the phone as required. We scheduled the work but then an opening came up in his schedule and he was able to get in earlier than anticipated which worked out well for me. Job took 2.5 days and everything came out looking great. I would definitely hire him again.

DDeclan told me it was a 1 day job. He then split one day into two days citing that he meant it "could be done in one day". When I come home after the job is completed on the second day, I find my trailer filled with all their trash. I review my security footage and see he not only tossed all the trash from the job in my trailer, but also emptied the trash from his van into it. This was not discussed and every contractor picks up after themselves unless otherwise negotiated. I ask him to come pick up his trash or money would be deducted from the bill. He comes the next day ranting, raving and cursing nonsense to the point we almost got in a fist fight on my front lawn. Whole thing is captured on video. Even his own workers are recorded saying "We told him not to leave the trash". On top of that the work was average at best.

AI own a Victorian house and the formal entrance had seen better days. It was dingy, shabby, and in need of a modern update. I contacted Charlie based on all the positive reviews on Angie's list. He came to the house to review the scope of the project and then sent me an estimate which I considered to be fair and hired him. He installed a brand new ceiling on the second floor which is beautiful. The narrow ceiling on the first floor was able to be saved. His crew scraped off the peeling calcite paint and then put a skim coat over mesh which saved the ceiling and and also saved me money. Before painting the high walls by the staircase he decided the plaster needed a skim coat to make the walls smooth and so he applied it at no extra charge. Charlie and his crew are extremely professional and courteous and do great work. They don't take shortcuts and go the extra mile to make the project look spectacular. In short, he was able to take my vision and turn it into reality. For this I am extremely grateful. I now have a formal entrance and a hallway that is extremely beautiful. RJP Manchester, NH
