    MasonWorks LLC
Jeff Souza the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful in design, also very open minded to our needs. Price was very fair. Crew of John, Alan, and Humberto were excellent. Top notch skills of masonry. Very professional and friendly. Bruno was site manager who came out initially to go over project and point person as project progressed and was very helpful and patient going over everything. Would hire again and highly recommend.

Arrived on time and as scheduled. Company owner installed proper wrought iron railing, as requested. He was very friendly, courteous and professional, when on site. He cleaned up site before leaving and instructed home owner to let cement cure/harden before using railing. He was on site approximately 4.5 hours

    P R Fence and Landscaping
Pending on the job Pedro will generally come out with him and one worker, or a larger crew (4 to 5). They are reliable, and are very hard workers. I am very happy with the quality of their work. He sometimes has ideas that you may not have thought of, and will recommend these without being pushy. He makes sure the job gets done the best/correct way. His attention to detail is amazing, and is very knowledgeable. The only constructive criticism I have is that the clean up could be a little better.

    Ben The Mason
We called Ben because the mason we had scheduled wanted to delay our project for nearly a month without warning. Ben understood our urgency and was on time for the estimate, began work the next day, and worked his butt off until completion. I even ran into an issue where I did not like the pavers I had selected from a photo. He offered me to join him and go select the pavers myself in person, which I did. The final result was professional and beautifully done. Ben was a total pleasure to do business with, especially considering how many negative experiences I've had with home contractors in the past. I recommend Ben wholeheartedly for any masonry job.

    Ranieri Construction Inc
Louis and Andrew Ranieri did an outstanding job throughout the the 3 weeks the job took. They were always there when he said he was going to be and if he couldn't i was called. He included me in all phases of the job, and did many things that were not included at no additional charge just because they needed to be done. I would hire him again in a minute, and strongly advise anyone who wants a job done right to give him a call.

    Murray Masonry & More Corp
He had originally estimated an 8/12 start date several weeks ago.  Actual start date slipped but by less than a week.  Two men and a Bobcat arrived early on the Friday and by the end of the day had reset all the steps and grouted them in.  They came back on the Saturday for a half day and finished the capping, faired-in the path at the top of the steps in a way which would not collect water, mixing and pouring concrete about 3 ft by 3 ft by 4 inches thick.  Then they filled in the hole in the foundation, meeting an unexpected obstacle with 6 inch thick concrete to be penetrated before they could fill the hole from the outside, but they were fully equipped with an electric hammer and drilled through.
Good equipment - Bobcat with jaws to hold stone steps, gas-powered concrete saw to make clean joints to existing work, electric powered large hammer drill were all used on my job but you got the impression they had anything they might require with them.  Tipper truck with crushed stone was also used.
My only misgiving is that they did not appear to wet the concrete in the existing foundation, raising the risk that the concrete would not bond as well and could leak.  When I raised this issue with Brendan Murray he said he felt it would provide a waterproof seal from the sheer volume of concrete poured, but he would be prepared to come back and cover with a waterproof membrane if it became a problem in the future.
I am very satisfied with the job - especially as a previous masonry contractor had run away with the deposit and never even started the work.  The deposit required by Murray was more reasonable - 30% at the start of the job.

    Rescon Basement Solutions - NH
We had a large crack in the basement floor that had been neglected for some time and gradually widened. We were also anxious to have an assessment, re, any evidence of  water damage, as there had been an episode of water in the basement when the house was first built. Rescon sent an estimator out quickly, and in fact made the first contact to set up an appointment after we purchased the deal. The estimator was prompt, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. He took his time and told us what our different options were and didn't pressure us. After looking at all of the options, we decided to have them bury the drainage pipes (there were 8 of them around the house!) as he suggested, to keep the water away from the foundation. When the workmen came they were prompt, pleasant, and did a great job, answering any questions we had. They filled the large crack, sealed around the interior walls, and completed the rest of the work.

We were very happy with the experience and the results and would use them again!

Jeff quoted me an attractive price for the work I wanted done, and was at my house a week later ready to work. He poured a 10x25 slab for my remodeled addition, and completed the job on schedule. That day I found him to be mostly professional and he promised the slab would be level enough to install a floor and smooth. Jeff insisted I pay in cash. A few days later the concrete was cured and I could inspect the work. There are sizable gaps and cracks around the premier of the slab large enough to fit your fingers in, and the surface has visible trowel marks and is not as smooth as he stated. In addition parts of the floor are clearly not level and you can see a sizable mound in the middle of the floor. The floor is so unlevel that it would be impossible to install tiles or any other type of hard flooring. The floor needs to be repaired before it can be finished. After a couple of attempts to reach Jeff, he finally called me back and said that be would drop by in a few days to repair the floor. After he didn?t show, he gave me the excuse that his other jobs had been pushed back due to weather and he would stop by when he finished them. Next time I reached him I tried to get him to give me a date and time, which he did and then blew it off. It has been a month since the concrete was poured and he has not returned my phone calls and stood me up twice. Jeff plays this game with his cell phone- you can call his number and if he wants to answer he picks up. If he is ducking your call it goes to his voice mail, which has been full every day for the last four weeks. I have called him dozens of times. Every time I call him his voice mail politely tells me to leave a message, and then says ?the mailbox is full, good-bye?. Jeff needs to repair the slab he poured, pay for me to get it repaired by someone else or he needs to refund my money.

    F Kempes General Contractor
Went w/ F Kempes for rear deck reno because they were so responsive. A week later, they demoed our tiny unsafe back deck, poured footings and dual layer patio. The project included building 12/22 foot deck w/ dry space underneath for storage. We had French door installed as additional access point done by cutting a hole in house, installing door, insulation, and re-plastering wall. They did a small concrete retaining wall and shed space underneath. Overall, a great experience working with Fernando and crew. Renato and Renaldo were very knowledgeable in the construction process and willing to complete different phases to our requests. Most importantly, Fernando was available at the drop of a hat via cell or email-a trait my wife and I value dearly. I would definitely work with F Kempes again, and may have to, since the awesome new deck makes the old house look pretty shoddy!!
