    Franson Family Chiropractic
The Physiatrist had referred me for physical therapy visits which did help a lot but did not eliminate the pains. A friend suggested that I be evaluated at Franson which I did. The exam, consisting of x-rays, pictures of my posture, measurement of weight distribution on each leg, thermographic scans for inflamation, revealed several problem areas: cervical, thoracic and lumbar.
A minor diving accident in childhood was probably the initial injury to my neck. Over the years, protecting an area which was occasionally sensitive, I'd gradually pulled my chin in more and the back of my neck got straighter - classic military neck - resulting in total loss of the natural curve and the beginnings of a reverse curve, head forward.
The normal curve in my thoracic back had increased, reducing the area for lung expansion, widening the area between my shoulder blades and my shoulders hunching forward. Some falls in the past which resulted in shoulder injuries probably helped that along too.
My pelvis was twisted so one side was forward of the other and my spine had a lateral curve in it. Here is where the disc was swollen and protruding and pressing on my sciatic nerve.
I began receiving adjustments 3 times per week for a few months. As I improved the visits became weekly.  That was about three years ago and I keep up my weekly adjustments. It's a small price to pay for feeling this good.   My doctors at Franson have always emphasized that nourishing my body with the 'right' foods and regularly doing the correct exercises was just as important as being adjusted regularly. I've taken their advice and altered my diet gradually. My power is back on and I've never felt better in my life. I've learned so much about living a healthy and happy life and will be forever grateful that I listened to that friend's advice and became a member of this wonderful practice.

    Venti, Dr. Thomas J.
I saw my PCP and he ordered x-rays, of my shoulder, which didn't show any problems. He then sent me to physical therapy: it helped a little. I looked for a physical therapist, on my own, out of network. I found a good one: a former olympic trainer ( Doug White, in Wilmington, MA ). Even though I improved, there was still discomfort. I had the same situation before, only then it was my back. I knew I had to see a chiropractor. Dr. Venti ordered x-rays, of the cervical area of my spine. He saw a problem immediately: explained it very well, and started treatment, which included ultrasound, to break-up the inflammation around the muscle tissue, caused by the bad alignment. I'm feeling much better. The treatments are getting less frequent, because of my improvement. He estimates I'll have to come back every 3 to 6 months, for maintenance adjustments.

    Franson Family Chiropractic
Dr. Franson's spinal adjustments provided the relief I was seeking from the pain. Both the professional staff and the office (support) staff were terrific! Unfortunately I was hospitalized in January for an unrelated condition and haven't been able to get back to see Dr. Franson. The SINGLE drawback for me is that the practice is located at some distance from my home.

    Venti, Dr. Thomas J.
Dr. Tom (as many call him) Venti was referred to me by my brother who had seen him for years.

I have been going to see him for about 5 years off and on now and always leave with the best results possible.
I tend to wait until I'm in pain before I go for an adjustment and they always find a way to fit me into their schedule.

I have been to a number of Chiropractors over the years and he is excellent.
They have all the newer treatments available (ultrasound, EMS etc) and are not hard sell on a lifetime of treatment, only what is needed.
He recommends ways to move while in pain and and exercises to help you to help with the problems (no preaching).

His new location is easier to get to, park and more comfortable.

This office is the BEST! If you are looking for helping in bringing wellness into your life, this is the place to do it. The front desk is awesome: friendly, inviting, helpful and efficient. Dr. Steve and all the docs here REALLY care about your health and do so much more than give chiropractic care. They will advise and lead you toward improving your overall health and well being. They are the most positive, fun, dedicated people I have ever met. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We have been under Dr. Steve's care for years. We are rarely sick and believe that chiropractic care has helped us stay healthy while others around us are often sick or injured. Our children have never been hospitalized, have never had an ear infection, have never been on antibiotics -- and they are 11 and 13 years old!

    Gauthier, Dr. Leonard
His office is well managed and his staff is excellent. His service is prompt. I get in and out of there under 15 minutes. When I go to him with a problem, he always fixes it for me. I have been going to him for several years and I have never had any problems. I recommend him for his professionalism and his office. I think I get an excellent service for what I pay for.

After the initial consult, they wanted me to sign up for a $3,000 plan for the next 3 months. The fees were astronomical.
