Perfect...arrived on time, went right to work, very personable. I used the Angie's List special, so I pre-paid, and there was no problem with the cost or the work to be performed. As mentioned by others, phone contact seldom works. However he always responds to emails, and I now have his cell phone number for future work. I was more than satisfied.

Very well. Extremely pleased after being strung along by another company for 3 months they got the job done in 1 day. Raked my entire yard after taking down 13 trees a real pleasure to see a company that appreciates the work.

It is now 2 years later and the issue has not been resolved. We have contacted Bob on multiple occasions through email, texts and facebook comments and he has been completely unresponsive. We have been way more patient on this issue than most people would be. At this point, we think our only option is to pay another contractor to fix the issue. We feel like future customers should be aware that while the finished product will likely be spectacular, any repairs or warranty issues will not be handled with the same level of attentiveness that you deserve.

When the company came out to discuss the variety of projects we had, it was apparent there was a huge communication barrier. I don't have a problem with working through these types of language barriers, but for whatever reason, it was impossible to break down the projects in terms of labor hours. He kept telling us it would cost more and more money and when we asked for a breakdown of hours per project, he seemed to have no idea what we were talking about. He only had a push mower, which obviously takes more time to use than professional riding mowers. I tried and tried to work with him and discuss what needed to be done, but to no avail. When he left, everything seemed to be fine, but when I talked to him last night, he told me he didn't want to do the work and that we were too far from him....2 months after I purchased the deal. I'm not sure he understands what he is selling.

I purchased 40 square yards of compost (August 2015)  and including delivery charges, paid  $1,242.50.   When it was delivered I was taken aback by its color - it was grey (instead of the dark rich black humus that characterizes compost).  It was also sandy, gritty, and had many small pebbles.  So I sent in a sample to the UMASS Soil and Plant Tissue Testing Laboratory.   The results are as follows:

    *ph of 6.0

*on the lower end of Phosphorous, Potassium, and below the optimal range for Calcium

*a little bit too much Copper, and way to much iron

    *4.2% Soil Organic Matter

*Soil textural analysis: 70.7% sand, 20.8% silt, 8.5% clay

The purpose of compost in farming is to add nutrients to the soil.   The "compost" they sold me has even less nutrients than the barren top soil on my property.   Also, a soil science expert at the lab assured me that there was no way that this could be compost.   Compost, she says, "at a minimum has at least at 20% soil organic matter content, and yours was only 4%."

If I had trusted Reis's  assurances and spread their compost on my field, it could have completely destroyed my first year of farming.   I asked for my money back.  I showed them the results.  They refused everything.   They refused to get their compost tested.  They refused to reimburse me for the soil test I paid for.  They refused to give me my money back.  I just lost over a grand, and they don't have a clue about what they are doing.

The initial contact email was followed up immediately with a request for appointment at our convenience.  Larry brought a couple of his crew members to the initial consultation to review the project, which was very thorough, and at which he offered suggestions and potential solutions for our project. He made sure his crew understood the main points of the job right from the start, which made us feel comfortable that they knew and agreed to his proposed timeline and expectations.
We waited a few weeks before getting back to him, and when we called back with a proposed change to the job, he came by that same afternoon to make sure he knew exactly what changes we wanted (we had originally wanted all mulch, but after thinking about it decided to add some stone sections, which was one of his suggestions at the start, and an area of just wood chips).  At that point he immediately confirmed his quote and we committed to him.
Timing quote was accurate - said job was estimated 3 guys/3 days, and he could start that coming week - they did exactly that and completed the job as planned. Cleanup was quick and thorough, for both weeding as well as branches, debris, etc.  Work was good as far as spreading the new mulch, putting down weed block and spreading stone and wood chips in the back yard.  Other areas of the yard were edged out neatly and mulched as well.  Front and side yard bushes were neatly shaped, which I didn't think was included, so a nice surprise.
The job was completed on Friday and Larry contacted us immediately to ensure it was done to our satisfaction. I reviewed with him by phone Saturday evening and had a question of a small area I had thought was part of the job, and even though it was not clearly spelled out and his crew hadn't thought it was, he scheduled them to come back Monday morning to take care of it.  He then came by later Monday morning to look at the job and ensure we were happy with everything, which we were.
We would recommend Professional Tree & Landscape without hesitation. We had a great experience and felt that we paid a fair price for the services that were contracted.

Everything went pretty much ok. My only complaint was the truck ran over and broke one of my automatic sprinklers. Josh offered to pay for it and said he would come by in a few days to take care of it. That was 5 months ago and I'm still waiting.

Update Josh did finally contact me and did come by with a check to take care of the broken sprinkler. Ten months later, but he did take care of it.

We lost a few trees with the storms this winter so we wanted to replace them. I don't know anything about trees so I checked Angie's list for a highly rated tree guy. I found Evergreen. Larry is really knowledgable about trees and all things landscaping. He came to our house to check everything out and he suggested some tree types for us based on where they would go. We ended up with a Flowering Pear, a Stewartia, a Hybrid Dogwood and a Heritage Birch. He also gave us tips for some of our existing plants that were being choked by other plants. Like I said, we don't know much about landscaping at all. After that visit, we went to his Garden Center in Seekonk/Attleboro and it is lovely. Several greenhouses with all kinds of beautiful plants. Out back is the orchards with rows and rows of trees in different stages of growth. We took a walk with Larry and selected our 4 trees. We set a date for the installation and he came, as planned while we were at work and we came home to 4 lovely trees and instructions on how to care for them. We have a fenced in yard, so Larry had to take the fence apart to get his equipment through. You would never have known he had to do that. Everything was back exactly as it was when we left it. There was also a problem with our water that day of all days, and Larry asked for our neighbor's assistance to water the trees sufficiently. He went above and beyond. I will definitely use Evergreen again. And the Garden Center is just so pretty to visit.

We are in the 2nd week of service and so far it has been wonderful. We have gotten pricing from several other places and so far their pricing has been an "A" rating. They are punctual and professional.

Owner was very attentive during the quoting process
During the quote phase, the owner told us to do business with him since he was local, living in the same town, and he would guarantee his work.
Did perform all work as described in estimate
Did respond to first call for follow up service after completion of work
Did not answer calls or respond to subsequent calls regarding dissatisfaction with the quality of the lawn and concerns with the proper operation of the irrigation system
We had to hire another company to "clean-up" the sloppy work with the irrigation system and we have to spend additional money to buy lawn treatments to eliminate crab grass which is prominent throughout the lawn
He does not stand by his word
He does take the money and run
