    Two weeks later, I had not heard from him; so, on 2014 August 28, I called his office and spoke to his assistant Misha, who said she would remind him that I was waiting for his proposals.
    After another two weeks, on about September 11, I still had not heard from him; so I called again and left a message asking him to call me back.
    After yet another couple of weeks, I sent him a message through the "Contact us" page of his website.
    I never heard from him.
    I saw his van parked in front of the house directly across the street from mine; and I thought he might ring my doorbell when he finished there; but I never heard from him.
    I have no idea why he never responded to me.  AFAIK, I did nothing to offend him.  I did not ask for substandard work or a discounted price.  My house is not shabby.  My credit is good.  My money is good.
    Eventually I got another alarm company and another electrician to perform the tasks I needed done. Both those firms were responsive and did good work.

    I thought he was absolutely wonderful. I phoned him last week and informed him I was leaving next week. He came by and I had it all installed. I like the man and the operation. The central phone number goes straight to his cell so you hear his voice when you call. He came when he said he would and phoned to confirm appointment. He seemed to know what he was doing.

    The system with excellent installation instructions arrived promptly. In addition to written instructions a USB thumb drive which is also a separate panic alarm provides step-by-step instructions for the installation of the various components of the alarm system. System that I purchased included two keypads, four door or window entry sensors, one motion sensor, the previously mentioned remote USB panic alarm and the base station.  The base station contains a siren and utilizes the cell phone signals to transfer the status of the system to the SimpliSafe monitoring facility.  The first base station shipped to me operated on the T-Mobile cell system. The base station had difficulty communicating with T-Mobile. The customer support was terrific and the company shipped an easily installed new chip that works on the Verizon mobile system. There are several advantages to the system ? it can be quickly installed; it operates off the cellular system so if the intruder cuts the phone lines to your building the alarm system still operates; you can decide whether or not you wish to be connected to the monitoring facility and if you choose to do so there is no long-term contract, you can do it month-to-month. The monitoring options are fully explained at the SimpliSafe website.
    I have been exploring the advantages of new technology and have experience with a hardwire system in another residence.  With a recent break in at a nearby residence,  I quickly searched Angie's list to explore options. I learned about the SimpliSafe system and the fact that I could purchase a basic package system at a discounted price through Angie's List with a 100% refund guarantee.  With the basic intrusion system now installed, I can explore the options of adding additional safety devices to the system, such as, smoke alarm, carbon  monoxide alarm, water leak detection, glass breaking sensor, and  low temperature monitoring. SimpliSafe has met my need at an attractive price, with excellent support and great customer relations.

    It was a clear misunderstanding in what I was purchasing. I thought they would come in and install the equipment for me. When I received the equipment it was in boxes and I didn't realize that I had to install it myself. I was able to contact the provider and they let me return the equipment back. They were very professional in handling my situation and was very understanding. I would use them again if under different circumstances.

    We never had an alarm system before. We moved recently to a quieter area and thought it was a good idea to install a system. After a few weeks and getting to know our neighbors, we realized the neighborhood is extremely safe and frequently patrolled by police (because of the proximity to the high school). We really don't feel we need an alarm system now, but we are stuck with it for 3 years. I would advise anyone considering an alarm to make sure they really need/want one before committing to a long contract. Otherwise, no problems.

    When I called and got the answering service, I was told that someone would get back to me within 15 minutes.  Not only did I get the call, Joe from Markarian Electric came out when he said he would.  Joe is a great representative of the company; he is friendly and
    efficient.  I was impressed that he checked back with the company to be sure that details of the estimate were complete and accurate.  Because I wanted to get the projected work done as quickly as possible, he called headquarters to schedule an appointment.
    In a world where entire days can be spent waiting for promised service and being made to feel that time as a consumer is not valuable, I am truly delighted about this refreshing feeling of being valued as a customer.  My experience with Markarian Electric is extremely positive, and I recommend them without reservation.  It is a pleasure to work with a provider who responds so quickly and efficiently.

    Excellent experience.  Eric Markarian responded to all of my concerns and went the extra mile to thoroughly inspect the electrical system in my home.  I did not use Markarian Electric for further services because I was not ready to make the expenditure, but I definitely will contact them when it comes time to replace the security system.

    At one point the alarm had gone off (not because of a burglary) and they came very quickly. They were very friendly and they explained the system to us very patiently several times. They were very pleasant people. They maintain an office 24 hours a day for emergencies and it seems to be there. We were very satisfied with them.

    The alarm was installed wrong. It went off in the middle of the night a year ago and there was no way to disconnect the sound. The company offered to send someone in 2 days to turn off the blaring alarm. After *an hour* on the phone with the command central and the technicians, the company started calling my contacts (still in the middle of the night) to say there was an emergency at my house. If I had had a problem, heaven help me because the response came way too late. I complained about the faulty installation and I was given the option of paying hundreds of dollars to fix the installation, or enter into a binding service contract with additional monthly fees. I declined those options and asked to cancel my contract. They said I needed to do it in writing, and then I would have to wait until the existing contract ran out in three months. They did not respond to my letters and faxes asking to cancel. Instead they continued to bill me monthly, then actually *renewed* my contract for another two years (2011)! They have threatened to ruin my credit if I stopped paying, even though I do not have a functioning alarm, and have not had one for almost a year now. The customer service supervisor at the corporate office was exceedingly rude on the phone and would not consider any fix that didn't involve me paying them even more money. I believe the attorney general of connecticut has withdrawn their accreditation due to unethical business practices. There are endless complaints about this company online. I wish I had known.
