Animal Removal reviews in Belmont

The first provider came and did a very brief "look" at the situation, quoted a price of $950 for two weeks of trapping, with "no guarantee". We then scheduled WPC to come for an estimate (based on rave reviews on Angie's List), and now I am very happy to add my own "rave review" to this company, and particularly for Eric, the technician who came. Not only was his evaluation of the situation thorough and informative, he spent almost an hour checking into possible nesting areas all around our property, explaining where he thought the raccoons were getting up to our roof, what would be involved in setting up traps, daily checking on them, etc. for the 2 week period we would be paying for. Not only was that less than half of the other estimate, he also suggested that because there were no signs of current activity since the last roof repair. he suggested that we wait to start the 2 weeks until there were signs of activity, told us what to watch for, and they would then come out to set the traps and start the 2 wk. time period. He explained that there can be one to two weeks between raccoons' destructive attempts on a particular roof (they seem to "make the rounds" in neighborhoods like ours, and didn't want us to waste the trapping weeks if they weren't active!) The initial estimate/inspection cost $75 (well worth it), applied toward the total cost when we went forward. So the actual trapping started almost 2 weeks later, and the entire process of setting up the traps, daily checking, closing the traps for the week-ends, activating and re-baiting them again on Monday was done reliably, professionally, with "field reports" being send from the home office since we often weren't at home when Eric or other technician came. They successfully trapped and removed 2 raccoons during the 2 week period, and were respectful of our property throughout. The times that I was home gave me a chance to learn more about the whole process, raccoon behavior, etc., since Eric is very knowledgeable and willing to explain, answer questions, etc. He's truly a gem!

I purchased the deal on 09/02/2015.  Dave came out to assess whether a taller ladder was necessary; it was not.  He  said that I did not need to stay home for them to get the job done.  In the morning of 09/11/2015 the ladder and traps were still in place but by the afternoon the area was clear.  The traps were gone and the soffit was completely covered with mesh so no more squirrels or other creatures could chew into the space.  The service was seamless and professional, and there was no inconvenience to me or anyone else in this three-family house.  I recommend this company unconditionally.

Scheduling an appointment was easy. A Waltham Pest representative called me promptly. The provider arrived on time and was very professional. He was mindful of our young baby and exercised discretion when planning which traps and poisons to use and where to place them. I am confident in my child's safety and the mice problem seems to have abated, at least for now.

.We have long been bothered by starlings working their way into various crevices around our side by side townhouses and recently they have been infesting our heating systems via chimney/vent. Knocked out 2 heating systems, one was repaired and the other system had to be replaced. Even though the vents are capped, it appears the starlings are undaunted and squeeze through even the smallest spaces.. Called several Angie's List suppliers of chimney caps etc. Chris was very responsive and flexible about our availability schedules. His price was comparable to a couple of other suppliers who. however, were booking appointments weeks out. Chris checked both vents/chimneys, cleaned out about a foot of nesting material from one and then installed what I assume is a system he devised for the existing chimney caps to keep the birds from coming back. So far so good -- we're pleased.

They were fine. They were punctual. They came back and set up traps and removed the animals that they found. They took care of the problem. I would rate them high overall and would use them again in the future.

Roger was thorough, professional, prepared with what he needed to do the job (heavy gloves and animal-restraining pole to safely search up in the attic, brought the large "humane, live removal" traps in his truck when he came, leaving them on site over the period of more than two weeks that the process involved. He was thorough, explaining what he was doing and why, discussing options and helping me understand why he wanted to be totally sure that no animals would be trapped inside before we secured the attic window. Clearly he cares about treating animals humanely, has a wealth of experience in animal behavior (as well as amazing stories to tell about some extreme situations), and the willingness to see this kind of project through! While the initial $325 seemed high, once I saw how much work was involved, it seems very reasonable (especially since he did such a thorough job, and guaranteed that if the raccoon comes back this season and needs to be removed, he would not charge for that).

I was extremely pleased with the clear explanation of what to expect. The technician explained the migratory patterns of these animals as well as the fact that late August is not a mating season, so no young were involved. There would have been an additional fee for every creature if a live animal had been trapped; fortunately, no raccoons returned. The work is guaranteed for a full year, but the patch was so secure that I do not anticipate a return of the animals.
