I sent him an Angie's email telling him I had 3 trees to be removed.
He called me and we made an appointment for the next day.
He didn't show up and didn't call. My son left work early that day
so he could talk to him as I have difficulty walking. Don't these
guys realize how rude and inconsiderate they are being? Better
to say up front they are too busy or at least call and say they can't
    make it.

I have used Mr Paulding for many years and find him extremely reliable, helpful with ideas and advice, and very reasonable in price. He can undertake work with little guidance and it totally trustworthy.

I have a difficult property on a hill with railroad tracks down a steep embankment behind.  It has become very overgrown and the vines had taken over.  John Merlesena came and gave me an estimate, which he stayed within, even though I changed some of what I wanted to do on my budget by the time he got here. I had never had tree work of this magnitude done, and had waited until some of what needed to be addressed, like limbs growing onto my roof, wasn't an option any more, it had to be dealt with.  He put his full attention into walking the property and helping me sort out what I could do on my budget, what was critical, and what would be nice.
He and his crew arrived exactly on time, on the day they were scheduled, were wonderful to work with, and did a great job on my property, which seemed so overwhelming to me.  I am very engaged with my garden and trees, and they were very respectful of both that and me.  These is not a slash and burn production line type company.  They make suggestions about how to do the best with what you have to work with, and when they are done it's better than you could have imagined.  They get it that you may not know tree work like they do, and work with you, so the result you get is beyond expectations.  I am so pleased with what they did and how they did it, that I can't say enough about them, and I will certainly use them again and again, for any tree work I may need in the future!

Great first meeting, friendly, courteous, professional I thought I had a winner. Came back with a crew and they went to work taking down two trees and trimming two others. They then chipped through the brush and four of five  brush piles I had made. Each was about 4 x 10 ft. They were done in just over two hours. Mr T showed up at my door, said they were done and wanted a check. Then things went south. I went out to inspect the work and saw that the cleanup was subpar and that one brush pile remained. I was informed ( using language that was heated and very inappropriate) that the brush pile wasn't even on my property, never discussed and that if I wanted it removed it would cost another hundred dollars. In fact, the pile was discussed, was definitely on my property and was within 25 ft of his truck. I really don't like being cussed at. I have a paper given to me describing exactly what was to be done for $800. This was not an estimate. It simply states what will be done for $800. I told him to remove the pile as we agreed at the first meeting. I received a bill in the mail a few days later for $875. I sent him a copy of our agreement and $800.
Round two: When I got the bill for $875 I called his office to complain. The person I talked to was embarassed and said that Mr.T's actions, shoddy work and getting really mad at any customer who questions anything was a frequent pattern. She lliterally apoligised to me for twenty minutes about his behavior and abuse of customers. This was not a one off from somebody having a bad day but a pattern that she was having to deal with on a weekly basis. Now she was in tears talking to me.
In the end I spent a week cleaning up all the brush they left around the yard. I had no intention of writting this but I just met someone else who had a similar expierence with Mr.T. and felt it was importent to relay my expierence.

We solicited quotes from two area arborists. Forest Keepers' was detailed and well organized, and also the less expensive. Plus, they could meet our desired schedule. They came on the scheduled day fully prepared to do all the work: four workers, a chipper and truck for the chips, and a stump grinder. Reviewed the work order with us, and got to work. Did everything we'd asked for at the price agreed upon. Cleaned up all the messes too.
Our only complaint is that they can be difficult to contact. We grant that when they're out in the field, wearing hearing protectors and running chain saws and stump grinders, they're not going to hear a cell phone ringing. Nevertheless, if they would check for messages more often and return calls more promptly, they'd score all A's in the ratings from our point of view.
Other than that, we recommend them enthusiastically, and we would use them again without hesitation.

Job was scheduled for the day before, but was postponed until the next day because of wet weather. They called me the day ahead to reschedule. Very happy with the work and the price was reasonable.
