AAffordable LandscapingAffordable Landscaping just installed my new lawn. My irrigation system had been unused for years; they added some new lines and heads, got the sprinklers up and running and tied-in with my new well. The grass is coming in beautifully and my yard looks amazing. My neighbors tell me they're jealous. For 15+ years I've hired Affordable Landscaping for numerous jobs, including: building a patio with fire pit, building front and back walkways and a backyard play area, Spring & Fall clean-up, mowing, and installing plantings around my yard. ATopping LandscapingRon did an excellent job installing my sprinkler system. He responded quickly to my quote request and offered both the best price and the longest warranty. He was prompt to respond to emails and helped coordinate a plumber to install a backflow preventer ahead of time. On the install date, his team arrived on time and was finished the same day. We walked the property and worked together to plan an ideal sprinkler layout, including making sure it would work with our soon-to-be-installed fence. FTracy and bob came to install a back flow system, which they recommended. Paid them $450 for a job that took less than an hour to install. They left without checking the system was working claiming that they are in a big hurry. When we turned on the system for the first time one of the valves would not shut and water was wasted for many hours. It took them another full 10 days to show up. They didn't know which valve it was and started digging in the yard helplessly and wanted us to remove a bush. When we asked them if they were sure we needed to remove the bush Jim (bob never showed up) became extremely angry started screaming and rushed out of the yard into his car and drove away. We tried calling them and they screamed at us on the phone saying that they have now removed us from their fall list. It is hard to believe that after paying so much money this company never checked their work and never took responsibility.

AWe had several very large pine trees knocked down and damaged from a severe thunderstorm and winds, and needed them removed quickly since some were still partially held up and could have fallen on our back fence. Any of the trees would have hit our house and done a lot of damage if they fell in that direction. We contacted a few tree removal companies, and Tim came out the next day to look at the situation and was able to fit us into his schedule within a few days to do the work. We picked Neufell Tree & Landscape out of the other tree removal companies because Tim had the best plan for how to remove the fallen/broken trees and a few others that were a danger of falling in the future, and at a reasonable price. We're glad we did because they did an excellent job. The crew worked hard, was pretty quick for the amount of tree removal work they did, and was able to precisely take down the large pine trees in the directions where they wanted to, without any falling near our house or fence (which was a concern of ours with at least one very large broken tree trunk suspended over our fence after the storm). Tim was great to discuss the project and future potential landscaping projects with. At least 3 of our neighbors hired them later to remove storm damaged and other trees on their properties, and were happy with the work as well. We plan to hire them again for any future tree projects as well as other landscaping.

ADan of Littleton Earthworks just wrapped up Phase 2 of a huge landscaping project at my home. After 25 years of living here, everything was overgrown, worn out and basically in need of a major overhaul. I dreamed of a refreshing, energizing and clean outdoor palette of beauty that would capture each of our four seasons’ dimensions. Dream is now reality. This phase included tree removal & pruning, stone wall rebuild, patio and walkway installation, irrigation system, over 15,000 sq feet of sod grass, way too many new plantings for me to count, and landscape lighting. To say the final outcome is gorgeous and beyond my expectations is an understatement. Everything was beautifully designed and executed, and WITHIN BUDGET! What sets Dan apart is his attention to the tiniest of details. He doesn’t just create a beautiful outdoor living space, he attends to all the unseen details that ensure this new space will function properly and perfectly while we sit back and enjoy the gorgeous new views. His enthusiasm as he executes the plan is so refreshing. And, he takes ownership of all the people needed to get the job done; with my own demanding job, that was a huge win for me. Lastly, the extremely detailed cost estimate Dan provides for each project, and then the actual final invoice is something I have never been provided from any other service provider. Each line item is tracked to arrive at the final cost, showing exactly where the project was under- on- or over-estimate. There is one phase remaining in my major yard overhaul. I look forward to working with Dan in 2019 to complete the 360-renovation. Without exception or the slightest of reservation, I highly recommend Dan of Littleton Earthworks. ALast summer we hired another company to address a drainage and water pooling issue in our backyard. Once the work was finally done it was evident that the pooling and drainage issue was not resolved. In fact, it became worse. We reached out to Bocash Brothers after it became evident that we were going nowhere with the other company. Out of all the landscape companies we contacted to get quotes Bocash Brothers outshone the rest. We had so many no call no shows, but Bocash Brothers even went the extra step of calling to simply confirm our appointment. I met with Dillon and right off the bat it was clear that he knew what he was talking about. He was very professional, prompt, and educated me on my backyard needs and what my options were. Communication with Bocash Brothers was excellent throughout the process, any time I had a question or concern I had no problems reaching Dillon on the phone. They scheduled us soon after we signed the contract and completed the work in just ONE day. The whole crew was professional and friendly. I could immediately tell the difference in the work done between the original company versus Bocash Brothers. I highly recommend working with Bocash Brothers for any landscaping needs. It’s now been almost two months and our grass is growing in. Most importantly, NO POOLING ISSUES!

ARequired landscaping architect expertise to assist in developing a plan to update our front and rear yards where we moved into a new development and our lot was a bare postage stamp. Interacted with and interviewed three or four landscaping companies and decided to contract with C.M.L. The project included different phases and are included/discussed for reference. The rear yard was sloped and required a curved 100-foot long by 4-foot concrete block retaining wall to provide a leveled area. C.M.L. provided the most technical approach on the wall design, installation specifics and final outcome goal above and beyond the other companies. In addition, we required new trees, plants and associated beds in both the front and back yards. We worked with C.M.L. and discussed numerous well thought out designs pertaining to the landscape intended goals and solutions to provide a well-developed outcome. As a byproduct of this large landscaping project the existing lawn would be a casualty however it was explained up front prior to the project start. We added in the required remediation effort (new soil/hydroseed) at the end of the project where our soil was substandard from the builder anyway. The landscaping included new soil, numerous Abortive Thuja family trees, Hinoki Cypress trees, Blue Spruce trees, Rhododendrons, a double-border paver walkway, a granite lamp post and a granite step. Needless to say, this level of effort spanned a few months however the final outcome was just what we envisioned. The project execution was steady without interruption. I've dealt with a few contract companies over time and I was most impressed with the professionalism and courteous nature of the C.M.L. team. If you are considering having work performed I would include C.M.L. within your candidate choices. In fact we do have a few more projects to complete and will contract with C.M.L. without hesitation.
