    TJ'S Plumbing & Heating
Upgraded all appliances to high energy efficiency natural gas for heat and water in my multifamily. Tim (the owner) came out and was very knowledgeable and had several suggestions. We contacted 3 other area plumbers for quotes. A month later TJ's installed a second natural gas line and meter hook ups, a tankless water heater, a combination boiler, and a forced air furnace. All workwas completed in just over a day. Both the office staff and technicians were pleasant to speak with and very courteous and professional. The work they performed was outstanding and they were super tidy. A+, I will never call another plumberin the area.

    Sila
They did a great job. Good some issues that I will need to address & they documented then for me so I could take care of them as needed. Extremely helpful & on time as well. We will use this company in the near future for the repairs needed to our AC units. We highly recommend this company. Thank you.

    Sila
Well the cleaning & getting the emissions back to normal range took two hours . Originally the price was $59.00 or $69.00 for the cleaning , but he had to stay an extra hour to get the extra work done which cost us another $180.00 at the rate of $90.00 per hour which I thought was a little steep. He also told me that the plumbing that we had done 3 years ago was put in wrong & then wrote us up a couple of nice hefty bids to get the work done . And he mentioned & showed that the water cut off wasn't working & that it needed to be replaced ( I had no problem with it prior ) for another hefty price . I gave him a B overall because he did get the emissions down , but overall seemed like a sales pitch & I would not hire him again .

    Sila
It didn't. I signed up for the Angie's List deal with Sila. Made an appointment with Griffin. They did not show up for the appointment (after I took the time off from work to be home). When I called to find out why they did not show up, Mark said he had to check with the Electric scheduler and then minutes later told me that they "had me down for the following week". I had marked the date and time in several places after confirming with Griffin and scheduled the day off to be here on my work calendar. I also sent Griffin an email confirming the date and time, and confirming the phone numbers I could be reached at. The date they told me it had been scheduled for I would not even have been available to be at home, so I definitely did not schedule it for that date. After several attempts to find a new date, we finally settled on today (01/25/17) to do the work. Appointment was for 7:00AM. At 7:30AM when no one had shown up (again) I called Sila, and Mark told me that someone had reached out to me (at some indefinite time at some indefinite phone number, he couldn't tell me which number or when - and there were no messages on my home or cell phone) to tell me that the electrician had to attend an "emergency safety seminar" today and would not be here today. Who schedules an emergency seminar??? Seminars are set up weeks in advance, you do not have an "emergency seminar", and you do not leave your customers waiting because you say you did. I think the alleged wrong date on the first visit and the "emergency seminar" on the second visit were both made up to cover the missed appointments. I am very disappointed in these people and their complete and utter disregard for the value of their customers' time. I will say, I feel sorry for Mark who has to keep passing along these lame excuses to the customers. I suspect that there will be all kinds of excuses and covering up for this total lack of service and professionalism.... but I would like to see some proof to back these excuses up. Some info on the seminar, when and where it was scheduled and a list of who was required to attend. A phone record showing the call when someone tried to reach out to me to let me know they weren't going to be there. Some record of the mis-scheduled first visit (and why someone there thinks I agreed to a date when I knew I wouldn't be here). Someone at Sila should just own up to the fact that they blew off the appointments, or start to offer some evidence that they did not, because I do not believe either story I got from Mark (as I said, I feel sorry for him, but he was not very convincing either time when offering the excuse for the missed appointment). If Sila does not feel that these Angie's list deals are a priority for them because of the bargain pricing, then they should stop offering them. If it is Sila's way of reaching out to potential new customers, then this is going to have a direct and far greater opposite effect on their attempts to build a customer base. BTW, I waited 2 hours to send this review because Mark told me that someone would call me when they got in at 8:30AM this morning... but no one has called. Not surprised at this point, so I am submitting this review after all.... there should be some consequences for wasting other people's time and money.

    BDL Heating & Cooling
The quality of workmanship and the professionalism of the installers were top-notch. My husband even commented that they were the best contractors he has ever worked with (including the electrical contractor). We called BDL based on other positive on-line reviews, and what a relief that they did not disappoint. We couldnt be happier with our experience; we wish all contractors were as good as BDL!

    Ecco HVAC
I am pleased with the service. My call was answered promptly by someone who sounded professional, understood my queries, and obtained answers swiftly. They first offered to schedule me soon but then found they could actually fit me in same-day and hurried to make arrangements so that could occur. The tech was quiet (which my pets appreciated), respectful, thorough, tidy, and efficient. The total cost was happily less than I had expected (due to my misunderstanding of one itemization in the original quote, not their error). They were able to take credit or check.

    ARS / Rescue Rooter Boston
When calling the service provider I told them that I converted my burner from oil to gas. The person over the phone was either incompetent or just didn't know their job but they still made the appointment for yesterday, 11/23/15, from 12-3pm. The day of the appointment a rep showed up at 5pm instead. The rep looked at my burner and said he can't service it. When asking why the rep said that he was told he couldn't do it. The same rep serviced my burner a year and a half ago after the conversion was made too. I called today, 11/24/15, to complain about my experience since I received no actual explanation and the service manager in charge seemed that he could care less about my complaint. The manager said the rep wasn't suppose to do the job and that he reprimanded him. I asked why this wasn't explained to me and the manager said that he doesn't broadcast all of their mistakes. An honest statement would've helped me a lot but they didn't even call me to offer an explanation until I called them. The manager had a very unprofessional and cavalier attitude about the situation so I hung up on him.

    Northern Lights Electric Inc
Everyone there was great. They were very clean, prompted, and detail oriented. They fixed what needed to be fixed, and came in under the quoted estimate. Thank you very much for a great job, and well done. We are hiring them in the future to install more electrical, and geothermal unit (once it gets installed).

    ARS / Rescue Rooter Boston
Rick was very professional & got to the root of the problem , but unfortunately was not able to fix the problem due to a company policy that prohibits its workers from working on gas conversion units . But he did find what the problem was so we are thankful for that .

    The service went very well.
The technician arrived on time, was very friendly and willingly answered all of my questions.
He did not try to "Push" any additional service and took the time to let me know that my A/C unit was in excellent working order.
i would definity use again and would recommend.
    They were very professional!
