    Breeze Carpentry & Construction
Our decks were in desperate need of restoration. When I decided to use composite rather than standard treated lumber, I called Breeze Carpentry for an estimate last summer. Because of unforeseen circumstances, I had to postpone the project. When I called Bill this spring, and told him I was ready to go forward, he quickly came by with the composite samples. Tearing up the old boards and railings was a lot of messy work, but Bill and his crew did it quickly and neatly. The project began on a Monday (with one rain day in between) and ended on Thursday. At the end of each day, the mess was completely cleaned up before the crew left. Bill and his crew took great care and did a meticulous job installing the new material and creating two beautiful decks. There were a few quirky things I asked him to do, which he took care of quickly and to perfection. It was obvious that Bill is a master craftsman and perfectionist, and I would not hesitate to have him back for future projects. It was a pleasure working with Bill and his crew, and I recommend Breeze Carpentry without hesitation.

We hired Joe to replace our aging deck and wow, he sure delivered! He took the vague ideas that we asked for and translated them into a work of art and fine craftsmanship. His work is excellent and his attention to quality and detail separates him from others who prefer only to do the bare minimum. Our new deck is so amazing that I constantly show it off to any guests who stop by. The deck feels sturdy, looks awesome and it is obvious that it was built well and will provide our family joy for a long time. Joe will be the first person we call for any future projects.

    Durable Remodeling
We started researching our porch project last fall. Out of the contractors that showed up to the house we had one who immediately informed me that he had lost a bid to do our roof a year or two before that. He made it known that he was quite upset about that. He then stated that this is a big job on an old house and that he really didn't want the job but, would quote it. It ended up that his quote was double the amount Durable Remodeling would quote. The other contractor visited our home for an hour and a half making several suggestions that would enhance our porch. This contractor never quoted nor contacted us again. Needless to say my husband and I were discouraged and decided not to pursue until the spring. Spring arrived I thought it best this time to find a reputable source for our contractor therefore, I chose Angie's List. I requested quotations from a couple of contractors after reading their reviews on the site. Within a couple of hours Durable Remodeling had replied to my RFQ. Dean Willett (the owner) contacted me to set up an appointment to discuss our upcoming renovation. From the moment I met Dean I felt at ease as he extremely knowledgeable of every aspect of this job. I also was impressed with his work ethics. His motto is "Do it right the first time”. During our meeting I felt as though he was not there just to promote his business but, to help a prospective customer to get the quality job they expect and he demands in his business. He had several creative suggestions we could try with the porch. One of these suggestions was to border the parameter of the deck in a contrasting color or accentuating the floor of the gazebo section. Another suggestion was to add a bead board vinyl ceiling to keep with the character of our 1910 home. I love the fact that he was trying to help me create the best porch I could. Dean was the kind of contractor that my husband and I were looking for. Of course we hired Durable Remodeling to do the job. We scheduled for a late May start which Dean was able to better by 3 weeks. Bob (the foreman) and the boys arrived by 7:00 a.m. on the 5th to begin our project. When I returned from work that first day I was shocked to see that the entire wrap around porch had been removed and the footings had been started. Work progressed quickly day by day. Each day my husband and I went to work we were greeted by the team with a smile and cordial conversation. Any time either of us had a question or concern Bob was more than happy to explain what was happening and why. We were advised daily as to what was to be done the next day. Once the job was started they worked non-stop unless they were awaiting the electrician or building inspector, etc. Also to be noted, the crew was diligent about cleaning up after each day’s work. This is important as we have small children who visit on the weekends. The job took a little less than 3 weeks to complete even though I threw in a special request they had not planned on. I suggested we add a hanging porch swing to the side of the porch to add a little more charm to the already beautiful porch. Dean checked with Bob as extra support would have to be installed in the ceiling. Bob was more than eager to accommodate our new request. Once the porch was finished Bob and the crew made sure that everything was paint ready which included caulking, sanding whatever necessary. During the rebuild we, as well as the workers, had heard many a compliment as well as several inquiries for business cards. We live on a main road and people driving by will slow down and comment along with a thumbs up. Our porch is absolutely beautiful. Dean and his workers have created such a warm, welcoming new porch that is the envy of many. I still can’t believe it when I sit on my porch swing at night. This beautiful porch is ours and I absolutely love it! Without a doubt Durable Remodeling is our choice of contractor and should be yours as well. Thank you all for a job well done! ? ? Ps: I will try to post pictures along with this review however, if I cannot please see the Durable Remodeling web page as Dean has posted pictures for review.

    South Eastern Carpentry Inc
Steve, Tom and John are awesome. They showed up every morning at 7am as they said they would and before they left for the night the job site was completely cleaned up and tools were stored neatly in my garage. Anytime I called Steve he always answered his phone and would answer all my questions. You will not find anyone who displays so much pride in their work as Steve and his team. On day 2, they began putting the new deck down and the next day when they came back they were not 100% satisfied with how one of the boards looked so they ripped it out and started again. If you want your job done right and with an honest hardworking team, hire Steve

    South Eastern Carpentry Inc
I contracted with South Eastern Carpentry to build a new 12' x 40' deck made of PVC decking onto my home.  My deck is 10 feet off the ground and I needed the deck to have a 15' x 8' swim spa built into it so it appeared the swim spa was floating.  I got many quotes for this very complex job and While South Eastern Carpentry was not the lowest bid they worked with me and I felt that they were the only ones up for this very complex job.  They did not disappoint!  First Steve reviewed every detail of the job with me and had professional plans drawn up.  Even before he started the job he stayed in contact and kept me apprised of their start date. When they started the job they arrived exactly at the time they stated and they showed up every day at 7AM and worked until dark including rainy days. HIs team is very professional and they kept a very clean work space.  The platform to hold the Swim Spa needed to be strong and built to precision so that the swim spa looks as though it is floating at the deck surface, it came out so well that the building inspector was even impressed how durable and done with expertise it was.  So They finished the main deck and had to stop while we waited for the Swim Spa to be delivered.  Steve was at the delivery to guide the crane and swim spa into its exact location according to the plans.  The deck is now finished with LED lighting on every post and I have my 20,000 LB Swim spa built into my deck 10 feet off the ground exactly as I wanted.
The finished product is absolutely beautiful!  The detail  and workmanship is unbelievable we could not be happier with the finished product.
I would strongly recommend South Eastern Carpentry and will certainly use them again.  The cost may be slightly higher but the results and lack of stress knowing you are getting a professional and quality job done correctly and on time is well worth the extra money.

    Natural Path Landscaping LLC

The work began meeting with Tom and discussing options. One of the best things about how Tom works is that he creates a plan with you. Seeing our ideas on paper really helped us iterate and settle on the final design. He worked with us through various scenarios and always provided suggestions and feedback on our ideas. This was very important to us.

The contract was detailed and on-point. There were no surprises during the project. Tom had advised us before we signed the contract on a couple of potential variables. He kept us up to date the entire time. His team was professional and friendly. The job site was always left neat. When Tom and team said they were going to be here, they were. Tom and his team are true to their word.

Our project completed last May and since Tom has stopped by a couple of times to check that all is still working well for us. This statement should tell you what level of professional you find in Tom. I don't know many individuals that come back to a job just to check in. Natural Path does an amazing job and stands by their work.

We are excited to engage in another project with Tom and team. Looking forward to redoing our front walkway and steps next spring!

    Falls Carpentry
He is great and I use him all the time know. We didn't have the money to get a new deck so I had him come over and just tell me if there was a way we could get another year or two use of it until we had the money to knock it down and put up a new deck. He came in and it's great. It feels so much more secure than it has over the last few years. I'm hoping eventually to remodel the whole kitchen and push it out of that six feet. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on stuff that I would be taking down soon hopefully. So he helped us get the door fixed and did the fortifying of the back deck. He knew what exactly was going on and did some repair work on the siding that we had. He has helped me totally remodel our bathroom upstairs which I did a few months before. I just have ongoing projects to do and he will be the first one I will call know. I've used him many times. We set up a date and he is always here. He is personable and he understands my limitations as far as what I can afford. He's just great. I have been really cautious about hiring people before and I have no problems with Rick.

    Bruin Corp of Attleboro
    Blown insulation
    Victorian house built in 1903.
Work was completed on time as scheduled.
A company representative contacted me initially to schedule the appointment. About a week before the appointed date, I called to request a change in days and it was not a problem. The representative contacted me the day before to remind me of the time that the crew would arrive.
The work crew was polite and professional. I had a lot of questions because my house is a 111 year old Victorian and I was nervous to have the clapboards disturbed to drill the holes for the cellulose insulation. I need not have worried. The clapboards were carefully removed and replaced. There are some little spots where the nails pulled through and the paint chipped, but I had anticipated much worse, considering the age and condition. I contacted my painter prior to the appointment and he will come and touch up the spots.
Not a spot of trash was left on my porch or around the house. I think they actually cleaned up a bit! I did not see any insulation or sawdust inside or outside of the house. There was a small amount of the insulation that penetrated near the pocket doors in my living room and one of the guys came in and vacuumed before I had even noticed.
I already feel warmer. My pellet stove has been used over the weekend and I did not go through nearly as many pellets as I would have prior. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work performed. I intend to insulate the 2nd, and 3rd floors as well as the attic floor and I will definitely use Bruin Corporation to complete the work.
    I highly recommend Bruin Corporation.
