    They arrived exactly on time! They were efficient, friendly and knowledgable. They spread drop cloths in the work areas and cleaned up just outside my home prior to leaving. They recalculated the amount of insulation proposed by MASS SAVE and added more AND charged me less! I would work with them again!

    We scheduled the appointment over the phone and the guys arrived punctually. However, when they did the walk through, they found out there was a mess in our attic that the previous home owner left tons of replaced insulation cotton batts up there and never dumped them. We just bought the house for a few months and it was my fault that I never paid attention to that. The guys told me they could not do their job before cleaning up the mess. They were very patient and provided lots of professional suggestions. Then they said I could simply reschedule the appointment when the cleaning is done. Their manager called me just a few hours after they left to reschedule the appointment. He was very kind as well. So we rescheduled and I had a contractor to clean up the attic. They came up again in the early morning, punctually as always, walked through, gave me some good professional advice and started doing their job. They finished the job right after the noon, very fast and well done. During the whole processes, the guys were very patient, professional and nice. I would definitely consider Bruin Corp of Framingham for future projects and recommend them to others.

    Mo replied with email within hours after I left the message. He came the same day to look at the ceiling. He was extremely thorough, even going to the attic to assess the existent insulation there. As he was leaving , Mo promised to submit the quote within a few days. After a week passed by, I tried to contact him to no avail. As of  02/24th , Mo has not returned my call or submitted the quote.

    They came out, assessed our energy use and made recommendations. They gave us a quote to insulate a crawl space in the attic but the guy who did it missed the soffit vents. He didn't realize that they were there so the price went up substantially - almost a thousand dollars. Then they told me that it was their mistake and that they'll do it right. They said they had additional things to do and they did it. They didn't charge me that amount and that was very nice of them. They did more work than they had initially quoted us. They did a $2000 dollar worth of work but they stuck with the original quote of $369.

    John and his assistant arrived at 8:00am and got to right work, starting with protecting the floor of the work area. Their first order of business was to install fiberglass insulation. Next, drywall was hung to seal the workspace. Finally, they applied a skim coat of plaster and completed the job by 11:00am.
    They were professional and very efficient in their work. We would not hesitate to call John again, or recommend him to friends seeking a plasterer. Already, we are enjoying a warmer living room, and we've definitely noticed that the furnace cycles much less frequently when we've had to turn up the heat, compared to last year.

    They did a great  even blowing in more than required (no extra charge).  However, they didn't properly seal the casing around the trap door into my attic, which they agreed to come back and fix ASAP.
    Overall, they were very professional, and answered all of the questions that I asked.

    Neponset Valley Construction
    Approximately 5 years ago, Neponset replaced my roof and they did a great job and I wrote a report on Angie's List regarding the experience and gave them a solid A.

    Recently I noticed during heavy rain that some water was leaking around the flashing of the chimney so I called Neponset to come out and take a look.  I was told the person who schedules the visits was out of the office and if I left my number he would call me back.  After 2 days of no call back.  I called again.  Again, the scheduler was out and again I left my name and number.  Two days later no call back.  I waited two more days and called again. The same experience.  Two days later I called and this time, I asked to have someone come out and inspect our attic as I was looking for a quote on adding or replacing the insulation in my attic as we knew when we bought the house the insulation was lacking.  I also threw in that I needed to have someone look at the flashing.  This time I was immediately transferred to the scheduler, who scheduled an appointment for me.  Guess what.  The day of the appointment came and they never showed up.   I called the office and the receptionist checked and there was no record of the appointment.  Again, I left my name and number which I have now left at least 6 times including a voicemail I left explaining my issues and to this date NOT 1 call back.  I have a full warranty on the roof and yet getting someone to come out has been impossible.   The only time it almost worked is when they felt they might get a new paying job but then they failed to show up. At this point, I am all but forced to look at other companies on Angie?s List.
    While I had a good experience in the past, my current experience has me questioning how this company has been an Angie's List Service Award for the last few years.   I understand it is a busy time of the year, but when you say someone will call you back you call someone back.  When you book an appointment you show up. This is basic customer service and I know because I have worked in customer service industry for 14 years.   
    For those who are looking at going with Neponset all I can say is read all the reports.   When they did work for me, it was great.  My issue is trying to get them to be responsive and follow-up with my requests.  If you look at all the previous reports I have submitted on Angie?s List, 6+ I only submit positive reviews unless I have no choice to post one like this.

    Update: After posting my initial report I received a call from Brian, the owner of Neponset Valley Construction to discuss the issues I had.   In addition, Brian personally came out to my house to inspect my chimney.  He checked the chimney and determined the issue was not the flashing but most likey a crack that had formed.  He said they would take care of the crack, eventhough it was not part of the roof or covered by the initial roof we had replaced.  While we have not had any rain yet, I am confident this solved the problem.  As for insulation, we taked about rough estimates but he recommended going through MassSave, which would save me upwards of 75%.   The conversations I had with Brian, I felt were genuine and I could tell they really wanted to make sure I knew the experience I had was so like them and not what they stood for, and frankly, that conversation reminded me why I had chosen them in the first place.   As a result,  I have modified my ratings.  I still can't give an A, just due to the initial experience but I wanted to make sure they were adjusted to reflect the effort they put in to make sure I was satisfied.   I just want to last remind anyone reading this that the work they did for me was excellent.  My roof is in excellent condition.  My only issue was responsiveness and it was with this request and they have shown and recognize there was a breakdown and have done what I think is right to resolve.   I would work with them again.

    My experience with Britton Homes overall is that their work is impeccable. Jim takes the time to hear the customer and is very fair when there are inevitable changes on the project.  He  knows his trade and has great employees and subcontractors that coordinate well and all work is top-notch. If there ever is a problem, he gets it fixed. I tried to save some money by hiring some of my own subcontractors (electrician plumbing, flooring) and probably would not do that again as a project took too much of my time and was much longer than if I let Britton Homes manage all aspects of the project.  Britton  Homes may seem a bit more expensive than some competitive bids, but in the end I think the acutal cost to complete the project will be close. As we finalize the punch list this week, I am looking forward to enjoying the new suite.

    The experience was excellent from start to finish. Rogers was responsive to my request for a quote and assisted in filing the appropriate paperwork for the energy rebate, saving us about $900 on the final cost of the job. Dave and Brett, the team who completed the work, were polite, efficient and did a thorough job. Before they left, they ensured that the entire area was clean and everything that had been moved was put back in place. I would use Rogers again without hesitation.
