AMaster Chimney SweepersExceptional service!! I got a call in advance, explaining the Covid-19 protocol and how the visit would work. Service technician, "Bobby 102" arrived on time, wearing face covering as discussed. He was super polite! Brought in his equipment (including floor/rug covering), accurately described the scope of the job and estimated timing. He worked quietly and efficiently while here and explained what he discovered at the end of his work. We were able to ask questions and got very clear and direct answers including what maintenance might be required down the road. We gave him a check on the spot and he was off to his next customer. I took great comfort in the way Master Chimney Sweepers prepared and informed us and we were extremely pleased with the actual service performed very professionally by "Bobby 102".- Ellen R.

ABoston's Best ChimneyExcellent. I called for emergency help as my plumber said furnace shut down was due to block in flue. It was cold and I needed flue fixed asap to be able to get heat back on. Boston sweeps had no available appointments, but switched me to their emergency service consideration and came out same day for $150 "mercy service extra fee. That seemed fair to me as they - and others - were booking into January. They did an excellent clean out (man in bsmt/man on roof) and made strong recommendation to reline chimney, replace cap to avoid future blockages. I trust their recommendation as a several years back a chimney sweep said we would soon need to reline. They sent me an estimate by next day. It was pricey, but I think it is because it's a 3 story house. the estimates I saw online were significantly lower, but they were national and did not specify height of chimney. All in all, very solid work and can't argue (much) with the estimate.- Robin R.

ALowe’s Air Duct CleaningExcellent service from beginning to end. I first called to request the service, I could not speak with any members, but they promptly returned my call, understood the request and made an appointment. The day of service, the technician arrived on time and explained the work to be done and eventually his findings. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He also gave us tips on how to better maintain the system for improved performance. Overall, excellent service. We highly recommend then and we will definitely use them again- Eloisa M.

AA-Tec Chimney SweepIt went well. Brendan was very good and professional. The price was pretty steep. I knew what it could cost in advance but one of the chimneys barely needed cleaning so I was hoping for a break. Since this was a property we just bought it was reassuring to have the service. Not sure if I would hire them again at that steep price. Way more than other quotes but the reviews sold us gong with A-Tec- Timothy L.

ASafe Fire Chimney ServicePaul was great, he was on time to the appointment. He checked all three chimneys, he said 2 of them were not used much so he didn't charge me the full price, for the third one he explained me how that fireplace works, and how it would be dangerous to use it with TV mounted over it. Since we have a TV, I decided not to invest cleaning that chimney. Paul could have easily charged me the full price and don't even mention the third one. He is a very honest person, gives a very fair price and is absolutely nice to talk to. I would highly recommend him.- Burak B.

APaul was great, he was on time to the appointment. ABoston's Best Chimney was phenomenal. They were professional from the front office staff to the chimney repair team. The front office called the day before to confirm both the inspection and the work. We needed our water heater exhaust flue relined and a chimney cap replaced. Kevin and his team were top notch. He was knowledgeable and gave great advice. We decided to defer Smoketite and relining the main chimney for a few years since we weren't going to burn any wood in the fire place until my toddler was older. The work came under the quote. I will definitely return to Boston's Best Chimney in a few years when I need the main chimney flue relined or if I need additional work. I give them my highest recommendation.

C"Frankie" showed up and I knew the moment I met him this was not a chimney pro. Young guy, seemed to lack experience, appeared to be doing the job but was very distracted talking about cryptocurrency and his future career as a financial guru. At the end of the job, he handed me the service report and had me sign and I wrote up a check. As he was leaving, I noticed the report had the wrong name and address on it. I ran out to the van and caught him in time to show him that he had written it up for someone in Sudbury (the services performed were correct). I had him generate a new service report with the correct info. He thanked me and said I was saving his butt by pointing out the mistake. Overall his lack of experience and lack of attention to detail have me worried enough to have a second company come out to do an inspection. For first time customers I recommend this company send out an experienced chimney sweep and not "Frankie". If the second company finds a subpar cleaning was done I will be updating this review with a lower score.

FNot good. Canceled at the last minute. Rescheduled for two days later. They called the next day to confirm the upcoming appt and I had already lined up someone else so I canceled. Received 2 more calls, and then a third from Chris who started arguing with me about canceling. He then texted me saying he would “see me tomorrow”. I answered that I was canceling and was all set. Texted again! I told him NO do not come to my house! Felt very threatened. Very unprofessional!
