    South Shore Hospital
The pre-op area where I waited was staffed by very professional nursing. The anesthesia department was excellent. They made me very comfortable while waiting before the surgery, and they explained everything they were doing, and why. The caregivers in the unit I was placed in after surgery were very professional, from physical therapy to nursing, physicians, social workers and case managers. I had interaction with them all, and they were very professional. They took me on time. I absolutely cannot find anything that went wrong.

    The Medical Group
I have always had pleasant experiences there. If the doctor that you are seeing finds a problem he can not handle, he is usually able to refer you to a doctor in that same group who can help you. It is a very versatile medical group.

    New England Baptist Hospital
My experience with them was absolutely excellent. They know what they are doing. They specialize in orthopedics. I had an incredible surgeon. I recovered incredibly quickly. They are just really good. The facility is beautiful.

    Family Medicine Associates
The facility is extremely organized and thorough. Everyone there is very nice. If they don't know the answer they will always admit it and find the answer for you. They have lab work and can do most x-rays here. Nurse practitioners do most of the examining. They are very knowledgeable about all types of individuals including kids with down syndrome and mildly retarded. The doctor will see you for annual physicals.

    Emerson Hospital
Not enough words to describe how much we love Emerson Hospital's Birthing Center. The staff is simply amazing, the environment is nice, it's just a perfect combination of small hospital warmth with high quality care. We are glad we chose to use Emerson for both of our sons' births and we will always look back on Emerson fondly.

    Lowell General Hospital
I was taken to LGH in an ambulance after having slipped on stairs and broken my ankle. When I got to the emergency room, the ER doctor immediately recognized that urgent action was needed to restore the blood flow to my foot. The staff explained what had to be done and why, and how they were going to do it. Their prompt attention saved my foot. I was told I needed surgery the next day. I was admitted and made comfortable. Every one of the nurses and aides was friendly, comforting and helpful. I got the impression that they liked their work and the hospital. The following noon I had surgery. Everything went off without a hitch. The next day, the physical therapist gave me a lesson on using crutches and a walker. Since I was still shaky and didn't do so well going up and down stairs, she had me stay an additional night. The next day I was released and went home, grateful for the excellent care I received. There were really only two minor downsides to my experience at LGH. The first was that the food, although delivered quickly by room service, was way too bland for my taste. Next time I would ask somebody to smuggle me in some salt and Dijon mustard. The broiled chicken breast was good, anyway. Second, a bag of clothing was left behind when they moved me from a double to a single room. I didn't notice it until I got home. I called to let them know what was missing and they assured me that they would look for it. A few days later it turned up and they called me to let me know where they were holding it. The nurse who called asked how my recovery was going and really cared about my answer. All in all, I was very happy that I was cared for so well. It's not fun breaking a leg, but I couldn't have wished for better care. Two thumbs (and an ankle) up!
