    Ms Fixit
Called Ms. Fixit out of desperation trying to DIY and was immediately impressed with her professional knowledge and calm manner. I had just gone thru a horrible experience with another handyman (not thru Angieslist) and was reluctant to let anyone else back in my home. Her attention to detail is amazing and she finds inventive fixes to many situations. I trusted her 100% in my house. She was able to correct his mistakes and transformed the room.

    Brooks Drywall
Tony and his crew were AMAZING. Covered/moved everything before painting, literally came back as if nothing was ever touched. Paint was like a brand new house. Timeframes were honored, prices were honored, work was first class.

    Brooks Drywall
Could not be happier. Price was WAY BELOW other bids, work was timely and professional. I'm always amazed at the clean up job by brooks drywall, there are no mistakes left when they are finished. A month after we moved in, Brooks Drywall called and came back to check all the work after movers left.

    RANDY MURPHY'S DRYWALL INC
After everything was hung and finished we paid Randy the final amount owed. We cut him 3 checks total; 1 the day they finished hanging the rock (the crew hanging did not speak English) and 1 check when he was finishing that day and 1 for Bull Nose edges. After about. Month, we had several areas were the nail heads of some of the hung rock were creating soft spots in the walls and a few seams, but the most detrimental issue was the ceiling seems in the kitchen. Randy repaired these 3x's. He repaired them once, then his brother repaired them. Both of which failed. He blamed the manufacturer and put me off for a while. Because we had a mutual friend, I gave Randy the vendor of the doubt and just kept checking with him periodically on when he would actually finishe the punch list. Again, several of the nail spots showed again and the seems in the walls and the ceiling were still bad. the builder and myself met with Randy at my home to discuss solutions to these reoccurring issues. Randy and his brother showed up and we discussed what could be done. Randy had issue with the repair claiming that it needed paint, not refinishing on the seems on the kitchen ceiling. However the rest of the issues he agreed to repair. As the conversation continued, Randy was told he needed to paint the ceiling at his cost if he thought that was the issue with the kitchen ceiling seem. He got upset and said its not his responsibility. After explaining that I had paid for the ceiling to be painted 2x's after each of his attempts to repair it, that this time he would have to cover the expense. Randy finally agreed to paint the ceiling but told me if it split again or the other repairs faulted again, that the house was a lemon and I should just sell it. Randy sent someone to price out the paint work but before they could began, I called Randy to ask him if he was gonna fix the other areas before the painters came and he replied that he was thinking about my house and knew he needed to get it done. Up to this pint everything was cordial until he stated that once he came to fix the areas in question, if they failed again, he was done, and he wasn't coming back. I told Randy that's not how this works. If the material is bad, he supplied it and he is responsible for it. After some back and forth Randy hung up and texted me "Sue me". A few hours later, he said he would send yet another family member to do the repair. Having been cursed at and then told to "Sue him", we decided we did not want Randy in our home again and asked him for an ipdated insurance certificate and we would walk away with no issue. He said he he no insurance and it would be better for me to let his cousin repair my issues. I told him to send him the week after Thanksgiving and we would try this again. I decided to contact the state license office and find out if he was licensed or registered. He is not. They claim he has applied for his license but was denied. He has not responded to this day. Also, I have all text back and forth with Randy from the time I met him until his last statements in November and will forward them to Angie's List Representitive if anyone would like to follow the truth of the situation. In summary: Randy is very unprofessional, Is not registered or licensed with the state Does not carry Workmans comp insurance or general liability insurance The business address is not his current address

    Carter Contracting
Mr. Carter came out to house on time as promised.  He was very professional and knowledgeable.  His pricing was very reasonable but had an offer from a family friend to same work. Would definitely consider using Carter's in the future. |

    Re-Bath of South Louisiana
From the presentation by Steve to the work performed by David, Nathan, Brian, and Josh, everything went perfect.  I had a stand alone shower removed, plumbing capped, and area sheetrocked.  The existing tub was removed and replaced with new tub and shower with beautiful surround walls.  Also, a hand held shower, shampoo shelf, corner shower tower, grab bars, and crescent curtain rod was installed.
The crew arrived timely at 7am and work was complete approximately 12:30pm.  They worked as a team and didn't waste time!  They demonstrated how to use everything and also how to best clean in order for it to look like new forever.  Cleanup was great also.  I was so happy that the demolition and installation went so smooth and I don't believe the warranty can be beat!
Steve called later in the day to check on my satisfaction and answer any questions I had, which were none.  I am so happy that I chose Re-Bath to remodel my bathroom and  I highly recommend them.
