    Assured Flooring & Countertops
The worst customer service and owners I have ever experienced!!! They did about 60% of the work on our bathroom and then never completed the rest of the work, leaving a huge mess in and out the house. I had to find a second company to complete the rest of their work. When Jesse at Assured was contacted about this, these are some of the threatening emails he sent : "Either pay me in the morning or I'm just going to go another direction to get my final payment. " "How about this pay me tomarrow or I will lean your home" "I can see you don't comprehend English to well please read my last email again maybe you will get it this time" When I contacted the owner Mike this was his ONLY response: "You are crazy and wrong" Want to be treated like this?

Needed ceramic tile work done, so reviewed their website. An elderly man answered said they haven't done ceramic tile, or anything other than wood flooring for over a year. He said he still hasnt updated their website.

    Vavasseur's Flooring Inspection & Consulting
Mr. Kenneth is an absolute professional with the commiserate tools, skills, and knowledge to do the job correctly and advise on what steps to take to ensure that moisture levels are within specifications prior to spending money on reconstruction - drywall, etc...

I absolutely recommend him as his services can save you many multiple thousands of dollars and heartache later.

    Pompeii Custom Stone & Tile
Extremely prompt at coming out to do an estimate and was able to easily schedule to have the work done.
The workers were courteous and professional, cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day they were here. We are extremely pleased with the final result. Our only complaint is that they arrived 2 hours after they stated they would be here on 2 of the install days.

    Wholesale Flooring & Granite
There were two floor crews. First crew put in the ceramic flooring and vinyl wood flooring. I give them an A +. They were courteous, professional, hard working. Excellent job and perfect clean up. Second crew who installed the carpet was like the polar opposite of first crew. Although the carpet installation was good, they grunted instead of speaking to me, tracked mud all over the other flooring, left dirty spots on the new carpet, threw the trash everywhere in the house and parked on the front lawn!! I made 10 phone calls to the store to get some resolution. On the 10th call finally got the salesperson who didn't empathize or even offer an apology. After 3 weeks of trying to talk to someone responsible at Wholesale Flooring, I finally got resolution thru intervention by Angie's list. Within 24 hours of the contact by Angie's list, I was talking to the Wholesale Flooring 's chief financial officer who agreed to pay for the clean up and repair of the mud rut in the front yard. I really thank Angie's list and encourage anyone who has problems to use their help.

    James Anderson
I contacted James from a craigslist ad, i know not the best idea, but it was hard to find a tile person on Angies list that wasnt a store. His pricing was in line with some other quotes I received, not the cheapest but not the highest. He seemed more knowledgeable than some of the guys and also seemed to  wanted to earn my business.  We set a schedule and he and his helper finished on time and did a great job. I had to buy the thinset and grout but no big deal. The pictures below  show the great work. I hope he finds some business off of Angie's.

    Halpin's Flooring America
They did well. They were very professional and on time. The quality of the work was good. We did notice on the porcelain tile that did not have full coverage of the mortar. We complained and they ordered the new tile immediately. They came out and pulled up the tile that had the problem and fixed the problem. I guess the concrete was not level and they did not do enough preparation but they resolved the issue.  I was a little disappointed with that. However, we were happy with the service and the quality of the work was really good. The price was competitive compared to other companies we talked to. We would definitely use them again.

    Cajun Carpentry
Summing up my review of Cajun Carpentry is unfortunately not good.
They showed a total lack of respect for their customer and no regard for their word; "To do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it ."

    No integrate.

    KC Home Improvement
After reviewing numerous recommendations on Angies List, I called Mr. Scott to schedule an estimate.  After receiving a very reasonable quote, construction began with the demolition/removal of a fiberglass tub surround.  Mr. Scott recommended the purchase of good quality materials and took the time to explain the rationale of the recommendations.  In rebuilding the shower area, Mr. Scott was meticulous, took the time necessary to ensure high quality results, and demonstrated extreme professionalism throughout the construction of a full walk in shower.  He was transparent in his purchase of materials and kept all the receipts for materials purchased on my behalf.  Upon review of the receipts, I noted he passed on the discounts/savings he received as a contractor. (Incredible right?!)  As an owner operator, he performs all the work and takes pride in a job well done.  His professionalism, workmanship, and dedication to provide quality services is outstanding.  I highly recommend Ken Scott for any project.  If you have to wait, or don't get an immediate return call, be patient, he's worth the wait.

TDP responded to my email very quickly.  Blake, the company vice president, came by a few days later to give me an estimate.  TDP was the cheapest out of three estimates I received.  I then confirmed a start date with TDP.  They started when they said they would and always came on time.  Blake was very accessible throughout the whole job and very knowledgable.  The guys worked hard each day and did a good job.  I will use them again in the future.
