  • Couldn't have gone any better. First visit for ice maker was on time and part quickly ordered. While Mr. Tim Albert was on site he checked out my oven and explained the problem and the fix. On second visit after parts were received he fixed both and probably saved me a lot of time and money. I considered him a friend while the problems were fixed.

  • Repairman was called and I agreed to an $89 service fee. When repairman came, he charged me an additional fee to tell me that there were no longer parts available to fix my washer. I was charged a total of $202 and no repair was made. He was not at my home for even a full hour. Repairman said he did not agree with the charge but was made to do it. The service fee was supposed to cover the trip and diagnosis, but the extra fee was charged for him to tell me, "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but the parts to fix your machine are no longer available." I made numerous attempts to contact customer service and was given the run around, left on hold for long amounts of time and never given any refund or logical explanation. In fact, the charge they showed was different than the charge on my receipt and they didn't even believe me when I emailed them a copy. Weeks of frustration and unbelievably poor customer service. I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Sears or use any Sears repair again.

  • I had Lowe's warranty and Ed's was assigned to me. Ed's (Gloria )called on a Friday afternoon and scheduled the appointment for the following Monday at 11 a.m. I received a call about 9:30 on Monday, asking if convenient with me, the tech could come out earlier. Randall Stephens came and found the problem and said he had to order the part which would take 7-10 days. I received a call from Gloria on the 7th day saying they would be out the next day at 11 am. Gloria called shortly before 11 to verify i was home. Randall showed up a litter before 11 a.m. and replaced the part. I was very pleased with the service and would use them again.

  • My washer stopped working and I was afraid I was going to have to replace it. I called Acadian Appliance on a Monday and they were here Tuesday morning. They called as promised when they were on their way. They were very professional and had the washer working again in an hour. The cost was $78, far less than having to replace the washer. I highly recomend this company.

  • My fridge (BTW, I so regret buying this LG fridge) was making a bad sound & not cooling. I tried emptying it & unplugging it for a few hours. After plugging it back up it seemed to start cooling, but there was still a sound, just not as bad. I called & left a msg w Bryan on Sunday asking him to call me. I described the issue & told him that I accidentally left the freezer drawer ajar on Saturday night & upon waking Sunday it was making a bad noise/not cooling. He asked how long I left it unplugged. He told me that for a fridge to properly thaw the doors would need to be left open/fridge unplugged for about 12 hrs. I told him that if it didn't work I would have him come out. He assured me that it would work. AND IT DID! HANDS DOWN, I WILL CALL THIS BUSINESS FOR EVERY APPLIANCE ISSUE I HAVE IN THE FUTURE & WILL TELL OTHERS TO USE THEM AS WELL!!!!

  • With this company you request service.  They send another company out to evaluate.  They this second company has to send in a report to get parts approved before they can order.  This takes another week.  Part gets order and another two weeks until they come with the part.  The part failed and I had water on my hardwood floors.  Sears is paying for floor damage but then the second company has to reorder the part.  Another month before the part came and was installed.
The second company repairman was professional and very polite.
It just takes time with the maintenance contracts to repair anything.

  • They came to evaluate.  They ordered the part.  They were coming to fix it 3 x but I had to cancel their appointment due to a sick family member in the hospital out of state.  They were very understanding about that.

  • Very quick turnaround time for the appointment. Chad showed up on time and did a thorough job explaining what was wrong with the refrigerator and how he was going to fix it. I was extremely satisfied with the work performed. Homeworx was prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. We will use them again in the future!

  • I called on 06/02/14 to schedule a repair for my Roper washer on 06/06/14. Because I had to have my fiance meet them at my house, I asked them for a Friday appointment and for them to tell me what time they'd be there. Everyday that week, Mark would call me and say he had a cancelation that day or some free time and could come out right then. I had to explain to him everyday that I needed him to come on FRIDAY, and for him to tell me what time. He would never commit to a time, and continued to call daily. Friday came, and I called him that morning to see what time he'd be out, and he said he didn't know because he wasn't feeling well, but he'd call when he was on his way. He called, and my fiance was not available to meet him because he did not give the advance notice that we continuously requested. My 17-y/o daughter had to deal with this repair. Then he repaired two things, and from his explanation on the phone I understood "dogs" and something else, that allegedly costs $203. He said the machine needed brackets too because the shell was disconnected from the frame (which I explained happen during transport, machine was bounced around on its side) and he argued with me that we "took the original brackets off ourselves" but that he'd order new ones at no charge to us and come back in two days to put them on the machine (already included in repair fee).  A week passes, and we call Mark back on 6/14/14 asking about his commitment to finish the repair. We explained that we were moving on Monday (in two days) and needed to get this finished. He explained that he had the brackets, because he had to take them off of another machine he had (the allegedly ordered brackets still had not arrived) but he could not come and finish the job. He said that he had surgery, but could not remember if it was before or after starting my repair, but anyway he's not feeling well again. So, he said we could go to his office and pick up the brackets and he'd explain to us how to finish the job ourselves, and he'd give us a website address for more instructions on do-it-yourself bracket installation. Needless to say, we are absolutely livid about our treatment from this company, not to mention that "God bless" and "I want to bless you with free parts" and "I'd appreciate a good review" and all that coming from the owner. I'm a Christian also, but when I do my work "in God's name" I also make sure it's acceptable in a Christianly manner. This encounter was absolute blasphemy and very degrading, and I totally feel taken advantage of since Mark did everything against what I asked and appeared to avoid my fiance altogether.

  • When I called for an appointment to have my oven looked at I was given one the very next day and Randall showed up well within the time range given to me by Ed,s. He was well dressed and extremely courteous from the moment he arrived at the front door till he left. Randall also seemed VERY knowledgeable about my appliance, which is a 19 year old Frigidaire oven. Unfortunately the part needed to repair my oven is no longer available so I will be shopping for a new one. Given this, Randall could have just packed up and left for the day, but he took the time to explain the pros and cons of convection ovens after I asked him about them. In this area as well he was VERY knowledgeable and quickly explained everything I need to look for while shopping for a new oven.

Over all I was very pleased with the experience and will not hesitate to recommend Ed's to my friends or call them in the future for any appliance issues I might have.
