AGARDEN DOCTORSWe had our yard removed, filled and re-sodded with St. Augustine. 16 pallets. They showed up with 10 trucks, several front end loaders and 15 people at the minimum. The job started at the exact time they stated, finished the same day. They resolved drainage problems and sprinkler system problems. During all of the preparation work before the actual install and through the install was constant communications and information sharing. VERY professional, great results and effective communications. They will be starting in our driveway brick pavers in a few days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you Nathanael Scales.- Alaynna K.

AThe work began within the timeframe i was told. It took about a week and a half to demo and complete the project. Vista did a really good job. The attention to detail was terrific. The crew that did the work were hard working, very respectful, and knew everything about doing the work. The cleaned up everyday before leaving and when completed. The result was better than I had imagined and looks stunning.

FDo not hire them! Donna and Bob were hired to resod my backyard, part of my front yard, landscape the back and put in side drainage. They did not kill my weeds first!! They just tossed the weeds so now my new yard is completely taken over!! Look at the pictures..nothing but weeds. They did not use a leveler to level my yard. Bob said they have good eyes...whatever that means. We have dips and low spots throughout our entire yard. They did not bring in enough sand for my backyard so my grass has died and/or been taken over by weeds! The drains were very poorly installed and without the proper grading. We emailed Bob and Donna to let them know that we had the LSU ag center come out because we couldn’t understand why our grass was so wet and dying and to address the other issues. We told them of all of the issues the LSU ag saw: improper grading, not enough sand, etc. We never heard from them! Do not hire them! This is a waste of your money! We now have to hire someone else to resod the whole yard and correct the drainage. The cost will be at least 10k!!

AWhen we first were looking for a landscaping company, we were going with Matyas Lanscape because of Sean’s design and professionalism. Unfortunately we met last minute with Big Easy Landscaping who wooed us with more product for the same price and we mistakenly went with that company. Lesson learned and 5 months later we contacted Sean to see if he could still do the work. He met with us right away, still had our plans and started the next week. If it were not for the hurricane Barry, he would have been done in a week and we had a huge lot and lots of excavation to do. The property was also left nicely with no scattered trash from workers. The design and plants he chose were beautiful and our house is more beautiful with the landscaping. He welcomes ideas and suggestions and doesn’t try to up-sell ideas and items. He also installed irrigation and lighting and helped us with drainage issues. Sean was on site every day supervising and working to ensure a great outcome. We went from a terrible situation to a wonderful situation in less than two weeks. Highly recommend Matyas Landscape.
