  It turned out fine. They did exactly what the statements quoted in the report that I had. The rollers are much softer, it doesn't make near as much racket as it did before. There was nothing wrong with it, it was just a tuneup. I think they oiled it, tightened up the bolts, that kind of thing. Tuneup is what I call it. There were no additional charges. The guy said, "Thank you very much and he left." He came exactly when he said he was coming. He was very professional.

  Service was great, quality great. But, once again--no one credited me or refunded me.
  The owner of the service said he would contact Angie's, then I heard nothing more. So, responsiveness? A "C", because they responded to my e-mail complaint then dumped me.

  Service man checked springs, cables, rollers, glider channels etc.  Confirmed all parts were in good shape.  Recognized that uneven pull from one side to other of each door was causing the faulty operation.  Adjusted cable tensions on both doors, lubricated entire system.  Both doors work perfectly now.  Extremely pleased by service - would use these people again without hesitation.

  Demo old french doors and ceiling in laundry room.  deliverered materials for job.  discovered termite problem in laundry room ceiling and halted until estimate for additional work confirmed.  Left plastic cover over water heater and did not cover garage opening with plywood but did enclose with clear plastic  NOT SECURE

  Completed header in laundry room and completed framing of 9 foot opening (even though told a 10 foot non-refundable door was ordered), closed in garage opening with plywood and Tyvek, swept and removed trash and prepared opening for closet door in hallway

  although we were informed that work would begin around 0800 that did not happen and about 1030 I received a call from Doug at Able to advise that their workers would be arriving around 1130 of 1200 and that they were held up in a company meeting.  Upon arrival it was agreed that the trim around the garage door was part of the project.  They completed the basic sheet rock in the hall closet and mounting of the hall closet door.  two thirds of the sheet rock in the laundry room was completed.  Garage covering reinstalled for the weekend.  they then packed up and left the job just before 1500.  Three hours total work and no sheet rock floating yet

  Garage door arrived as scheduled by myself and Home Depot.  Workers arrive 1120, Discovered 10 foot door does not fit in 9 foot opening and after much delay, they took my door with them and left

  workers installed garage door by framing in for 10 foot door and installing vertical tracks and installing door panels.  Door still not opening.  Door opening reportedly square and plum although door does not fit opening.

  Crew arrived and went to work sanding sheet rock.  Daryl arrived just before 0900 with solution to width shortage of door opening.  replace vertical 2x12 on south side with angle iron nailed to brick.

  laundry room ceiling light not reinstalled
  baseboard in hallway not reinstalled
  Sheet rock in hall closet and laundry room poorly floated.  All seams show
  Garage door came away from front of house because 2x12 holding track came away as it was only nailed.  Daryl did return until the following Friday , after "completion", and anchor bolted wood to brick, leaving the door inoperable

  Two technicians came on time. They identified themselves properly. They were courteous and professional. They did all the task quickly, efficiently and cleanly. They have all the materials they need for the job in their truck. When they encountered minor unexpected problems they solve them without a fuss and without charging me more for doing it. They leave cards, telephone numbers and stickers by the control in case any problem arise. It has been 3 months since the service and my garage doors are working very smoothly.

  I called the company, left my phone number, they called back immediately. They had a very nice gentleman out quickly who did a good neat job, made sure we understood how the door worked and he left with instructions for us to call if we had any questions.

  They came out about an hour after I called them. They were very prompt. House of Doors installed the original door about five years ago. It has been a great door and I have had no previous problems with it. They adjusted the door and it seemed to work much better than before. It had been very noisey. After the adjustments, it was very quiet. A week later, the same cable came loose again. I called and they came out very quickly. The technician spent an hour and a half working on the door and making adjustments. I have not had any other problems with the door. They did not charge me for the second visit. I am very pleased with their prompt service and the way they stand behind their work.
