APandA Restoration and Development LLCGreat! Paul came to assess the leak within 24 hours of my call. He looked at both interior leak area on ceiling, in attic, and at exterior area on the roof. He determined that leak was not an ongoing problem but a minor one time leak caused by pressure washing of the roof done recently. He recommended I just Kilz and repaint the ceiling. He was here 20 minutes but very kindly did not charge me anything for his inspection and advice :) Attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you Paul, and I will definitely call for future all-around house repair needs!- MELANIE C.

BMallett Buildings IncThere were some hiccups but that’s bc at the time we had two hurricanes hit with in two weeks of each other. Other then that we can’t complain and absolutely love our shop! We had a 30x40 with a 20’ gable extension off the front built and only wished we would have went a lil bigger. Great product and one solid building!- Jason B.

ASES Enterprises LLCGreat work! SES was very flexible and responsive, especially with coordinating delivery issues with the shed manufacturer. This was a large building - 12 x 20 x 10 high with heavy steel beams and a slab that had to be poured per engineering drawings. The crew worked safely and effectively, and their foreman was very knowledgeable about the materials and the construction. Very professional job, respectful of my home, flexible and easy to work with. They also handled all the permitting and inspections.- Barbara W.

FPandA Restoration and Development LLCWorst experience ever. This character shows when he feels like it, took money up front, 1000 dollars in fact and it was all down hill from there. I paid the balance while I was on the telephone after he said he was finished. After I had paid him, I realized the works was terrible, painting was amateur hour, paint all over doorknobs, his workers were in training and he rushed them to get out and on to the next. They damaged my vintage trailer by leaning doors against it, they made mess creating issues with my neighbor with the power wash. He still has not completed the job and was resentful I found his promotional rate on the internet of 40 hours with a licensed contractor for 2000 dollars. It takes a lot before I leave a bad review, I gave him time to cure, he kept claiming his workers were coming back...I'd say close to 35 texts later and weeks going by, my patience is expired. I feel compelled to warn others...DO NOT PAY THIS GUY UPFRONT, you will never see him for another three weeks if ever. No one is trained you could get the same help in the Home Depot Parking lot. AAcadian RemodelingBenny and Acadian did a great job on two separate projects for us. First (early 2016), we had an old attached carport in our backyard that was no longer used as a carport. We wanted to convert it into a storage shed. He gave us a fair bid (we took 2 other bids, 1 was much higher than his and 1 was comparable). His workers were very considerate and professional when we met them. Benny was very responsive when I had questions. The project was fairly involved, because they needed to move some HVAC units out of the way, expand the size of the concrete foundation, frame the walls for the shed, wire the shed for electricity, replace the carport lighting fixture, install exterior lighting fixtures, and install and paint exterior siding to match the house. They did everything perfectly! Second (mid-2017), we hired them again a year later to replace the old railing on our front porch. We had a miscommunication with Bennie about what we wanted the replacement to look like. But Benny and his carpenter were very responsive when we realized that what his carpenter was constructing for was not what we wanted. They quickly changed course to build what we wanted and we really appreciated the quality work and professionalism. We are in the process of getting a bid from Acadian to do some more work for us!- Jason B.

AMLM Remodeling, LLCExcellent! After a frustrating time finding a contractor, then being let down by the first one, I found Nick with MLM Remodeling and I'M SO VERY THANKFUL that I did! He actually did everything that was requested, confirmed our plan through professional estimates, gave suggestions when asked, but MOST IMPORTANTLY did what he said he would do timely and in a professional manner. HIs work is GREAT and I highly recommend him (and I have to say after dealing with many contractors in my lifetime, he has been THE BEST I've ever worked with!). AAcadian RemodelingWe own a 100+ year old home in a historic district. Prior to the previous job I mentioned, they have worked on our house throughout the years. Interior wise- they remodeled a bathroom (and they had suggestions for the design of the bathroom which kept in in keeping with the period of the house- it's beautiful); they also installed multiple layers of cove molding downstairs- the ceilings are 11 feet, so typical cove molding would not do. They also did some drywall and painting. On the exterior, they constructed a fabulous pergola and a garden room detached from the house. The garden room is a separate building and is made of reclaimed windows- a unique design with a unique shingle type roof with skylights. About eight years ago they added a back porch with a balcony above. The also added a door upstairs that opens out to the balcony. When you look at the construction, you would never know it was added on. It looks like it was built 115 years ago when the house was built. The porch and balcony above, pergola and garden room have transformed our backyard and home. Their work is good and they have good ideas to add to my ideas. I have been satisfied with their work. The last job on our rental we had a mix up with what time we were meeting initially, but otherwise they are reliable about showing up and making appointments. I would definitely hire them again.- kathleen b.

ASES couldn't have been more pleasant to work with! From their professionalism and kindness, to their transparency with scope of work and pricing, there's not a better company to trust with your renovation/build. Every person we encountered with SES from the Owner to the amazing men and women who worked on the house were kind, honest, and open. It was so comforting to trust the people spending time in our home. They were more than just the staff working on our renovation, they were people we were able to get to know. Here are some bullets to describe our experience as succinctly as possible: Our plan: - My husband and I knew exactly how we wanted the finished product to look, so we were able to provide SES with lots of pictures so they could envision the end goal as well. - We purchased all of the materials for the project (flooring, cabinetry, appliances, backsplash, etc.), and SES made the project come to life! The Details: - On our first call, we were able to schedule a time to have someone come out and assess the scope of work. - Within a couple of days Perry came to the house, assessed our first floor, discussed our plan, and we sent him our inspiration pictures via email. - Within 1 week we had a detailed quote including product and labor pricing. - We were able to schedule a meeting with Perry to adjust pricing since we were purchasing our own materials, and the next morning we had an updated quote within our budget. - Once we paid for permits, the process began and within 6 weeks (because Jefferson Parish took a while to complete the permitting) work started; at this point we had all of our materials ready for the renovation, and all of the work went smoothly from there. - We added on 3 big projects throughout the renovation and they made it so easy. We'd reach out via email, Ashley and Perry would respond with confirmation and pricing, and we'd be able to move forward the following day with the new work. Their process: - Ashley who manages the office, would reach out every evening via email to let us know who would be on site the next day, what time they would arrive, and the scope of work on the list to complete. - If any pieces of work weren't finished on the planned day, Ashley would reach out to let us know why and when the item would be finished. - If anything came up during the renovation that Perry or Luis felt needed to be addressed, they would call us, offer us multiple solutions with pricing, and allow us to chose the option that was the best fit for us. Do yourself a favor and work with them; they're awesome!

We have been doing this for 19 years now. Our work always speaks for itself. We`re trained in whole-house repair and are licensed for everything except major electrical and plumbing. We take a lot of pride in our work. We have had many compliments from people and businesses through out the area.

AThese guys did an excellent job on our roof. I'd hire them again in a heart beat if we had another roof to do! Our roof had been damaged by storms and displayed several of the telltale signs of serious shingle damage including creased shingles, missing shingles, impingement, streaking, more. Our insurance covered the entire replacement with us responsible only for our deductible. The material was dropped off the day before they started working. The job took about 3 days to complete and was done under a hot sun. Their crews always arrived on time and worked long hours. We have an in-ground pool close to our house so they covered the entire pool with a large tarp to help keep it clean. Two passive turbines were added to vent the roof and a nonfunctional motorized power vent was replaced with a new one. I had lots of questions which Reshaud and Carlos were more than willing to answer, explaining how they do the job, which eliminated any anxiety I had about the quality of their work. And, everyday they cleaned up the job site including running a magnetic tool over the ground to pick-up as many nails as could be found. I highly recommend Structure Ace for your roof repair, be it large or small.

FI requested a quote from Angie's list and received a call within 10 minutes scheduling an appointment for Friday at "lunchtime" to get an estimate to clean our gutters. I made sure that I was home for "lunchtime" on Friday, but no one showed up at the house. It has been 2 weeks and I never heard from this company again.
