From their professionalism and kindness, to their transparency with scope of work and pricing, there's not a better company to trust with your renovation/build. Every person we encountered with SES from the Owner to the amazing men and women who worked on the house were kind, honest, and open. It was so comforting to trust the people spending time in our home. They were more than just the staff working on our renovation, they were people we were able to get to know. Here are some bullets to describe our experience as succinctly as possible: Our plan: - My husband and I knew exactly how we wanted the finished product to look, so we were able to provide SES with lots of pictures so they could envision the end goal as well. - We purchased all of the materials for the project (flooring, cabinetry, appliances, backsplash, etc.), and SES made the project come to life! The Details: - On our first call, we were able to schedule a time to have someone come out and assess the scope of work. - Within a couple of days Perry came to the house, assessed our first floor, discussed our plan, and we sent him our inspiration pictures via email. - Within 1 week we had a detailed quote including product and labor pricing. - We were able to schedule a meeting with Perry to adjust pricing since we were purchasing our own materials, and the next morning we had an updated quote within our budget. - Once we paid for permits, the process began and within 6 weeks (because Jefferson Parish took a while to complete the permitting) work started; at this point we had all of our materials ready for the renovation, and all of the work went smoothly from there. - We added on 3 big projects throughout the renovation and they made it so easy. We'd reach out via email, Ashley and Perry would respond with confirmation and pricing, and we'd be able to move forward the following day with the new work. Their process: - Ashley who manages the office, would reach out every evening via email to let us know who would be on site the next day, what time they would arrive, and the scope of work on the list to complete. - If any pieces of work weren't finished on the planned day, Ashley would reach out to let us know why and when the item would be finished. - If anything came up during the renovation that Perry or Luis felt needed to be addressed, they would call us, offer us multiple solutions with pricing, and allow us to chose the option that was the best fit for us. ASES Enterprises LLCSES always impresses us with their quality and attention to care but never before have we been as blown away by their professionalism as with our most recent project. Project involved removal of a metal spiral staircase, removal of cat urine saturated flooring, resealing and leveling of the floor, tiling, construction of a new wooden staircase, painting and staining of wooden staircase and (a request made after seeing how transformative this project was proving to be) cleaning, patching and painting of the walls and trim. Due to some hiccups, the project extended past the provided timeline and SES agreed (and again, this is after we threw a potential wrench in their plans making an additional request after the project commenced) to begin covering the cost of the continued boarding of the cats. In short, I cannot shout loudly enough our appreciation for SES!- andrew b.

ATERRY V, BLEKER HISTORICAL HOME RESTORATIONSMr. Bleker and his team were wonderful to work with during the past few weeks. My mother had flooring problems in her home. We were looking for someone who could fix our foundation without pulling up our floors inside the home. Mr. Bleker team was able to take care of this matter for us and exceeded our expectations. They kept my mother and I updated of all the work that was being completed each day. One of the perks of hiring Mr. Bleker is that he and his team handles one home at a time. Once they start on your home, your property will have their undivided attention. Mr. Bleker prices were more than fair for the work that was completed on my home. The crew was very hardworking and were prompt every morning. Ashley called every afternoon to update us as to who would be here in the morning, what time they would arrive, and what they would work on. The owner, Shawn checked in routinely. AMLM IncI had a leaky shower that destroyed the wooden floors in two rooms and required mold remediation and a major master bedroom/bathroom renovation. I was leery after having another contractor botch a previous reno. Finding MLM on Houzz, I loved their work, but doubted they would cater to a homeowner in the same way that their corporate customers raved about them. I'm so happy to say I was wrong. We had a slow start because of holidays and other commitments. But once they got rolling, from start to finish, Wayne, Anna, Machi, Craig, and Nissan were awesome. They communicated with me, made sure any concerns were addressed, and most importantly, did a FANTASTIC job with the renovation. It was a smooth and stress-free experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor, even with small jobs.- Angela W.

AThey know what they are doing. They delivered the desire product with excellent quality. They seem to CARE and will try to accommodate requests to make customers happy/satisfied. They work hard and on time. A positive criticism, they could do a better job to clean after themselves and leave property clean/unaltered after completing the project. AGreat! Paul came to assess the leak within 24 hours of my call. He looked at both interior leak area on ceiling, in attic, and at exterior area on the roof. He determined that leak was not an ongoing problem but a minor one time leak caused by pressure washing of the roof done recently. He recommended I just Kilz and repaint the ceiling. He was here 20 minutes but very kindly did not charge me anything for his inspection and advice :) Attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you Paul, and I will definitely call for future all-around house repair needs!

AThe team at Floorcrafters did an excellent job replacing sections of my damaged hardwood floor in 2 rooms. The workmen showed up early each day and finished the job in 3 days (from repair to final staining). They stained the new wood to perfectly match the original existing hardwood floors. I received bids from 2 other companies and their price was a bit less than the other two. I highly recommend them for hardwood floor repair!

AIn 2017, we had some issues with our fireplace where it came out the roof. American Men Roofing (AMR) was contacted, gave us a free quote, performed work on time, and cleaned up after themselves. After the recent storm (October 2019), I contacted AMR again via Angie’s List over the weekend. They responded with a message on Angie’s list and called and left me a message on my cell phone. I told them I needed a quote and they came out the next day and sent the quote. I normally get two or three quotes at a minimum, but because of the great work and great service conducted in 2017, I only got one quote. I thought the quote was expensive, but it could be I think everything is expensive. The work was conducted three days prior to the date given once the contract was signed. Once again the work was conducted in a very professional manner with great service from Leigh Ann and Craig.
