They did a great job of packing , wrapping, labeling, and recording in a very professional manner; with ONE EXCEPTION. Today August 14, 2017 we put the boxes scheduled for storage into storage and move the boxes scheduled for the house in the house. They got the delivery instructions totally backwards. IE. The boxes and furniture marked for the house were put in storage and vice versa. Careful monitoring of their actions could correct this. I would hire them again and watch them like a hawk for where to put what.

Very professional and polite. There was an initial issue with the distance of the move but it was resolved quickly. Great communication. Make sure to ask if there is a mileage limitation. I moved 60 miles.

    1.  One of the movers stole a previously unopened, unused air mattress from my belongings and slept on it for several nights.  When I confronted Atmosphere's owner about this, he first lied about it ("It was left on the back of a truck."), then he admitted that it had been used by one of his employees, but said that it had been intended to go to Goodwill (isn't that the property owner's decision, and not the movers'?).  Finally, Atmosphere admonished me for not including this specific item in my inventory, indicating that if every single box is not listed on the inventory of items to move, it is up for grabs.  Note to anyone considering using Atmosphere--better make sure you list EVERY single item to ensure that it doesn't get taken by the movers.
    2.  The movers damaged my house and furniture on moving day.  I got estimates from professionals to present to Atmosphere, and they only reimbursed me less than half of the estimated costs of repairs, stating that the repair estimates were "excessive."
    3.  The movers did not finish the job.  I was left to move over a dozen SUV-full trips between my old house and my new house.
    4.  From the time I first made the owner of Atmosphere aware of these issues to the time I was reimbursed for the air mattress and a fraction of the cost of repairs, over FOUR months passed.  I left at least seven messages that went unreturned before getting the Better Business Bureau involved, at which point I finally got a return call from the owner.  When I spoke to the owner, he never once offered an apology, but he insulted my intelligence and accused me of complaining for the sole purpose of "getting money" from him.
This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Both the load and unload went extremely well. Nick went out of his way to make the move as easy as possible. He was very accommodating and was available to answer all my questions and concerns each time I called. Dennis Hernandez packed the PODS in such a way that everything arrived in tip top condition. He and his crew are very professional and very efficient hard workers. I would definitely hire them again and won't hesitate to recommend them.

The movers arrived on time.  There were eight men that worked together for 10 hours. They were a pleasure to work with the entire time.  I had my new residence painted before the move and mentioned it to the foreman when they arrived. I did not have one scratch, dent on any wall in my new home. Not one item, upon unpacking, was broken. No furniture was scratched and they took extra care in the items that were marked fragile.  I could not have been more pleased in how they performed their job and how they made a stressful task, like moving, go smoothly.  Even my refrigerator had to be disassembled because it wouldn't fit through the door.  They took it in stride and put me at ease with their professionalism and went about keeping all parts together, well marked and attached.  They could not have been more friendly, helpful and communicated what they were going to do in a clear, professional manner.

I can not say enough good things about this company.  We had two bids to move our 5000 sq. ft. household and actually chose the more expensive one ($400 more) because their sales manager Mike Smith came out on a Sat. afternoon to give us a quote and the other company which we had a Wed. morning appt. showed up 45 min. late.  The crew, Justin, Josh, Jarrett and Trey showed up on time, were great in all aspects of the move and took great care with our personal items.  Thank you guys.  We were very pleased with the move and will use them again in the future.70471

This was a crazy request from the beginning. We had to move 3500 square feet of a raised basement home into the trucks in 4 hours. The walk through was at 1:00 and then, we had to go to Mandeville and unload before 5:00 pm. Things started off a bit rough, they didn't arrive until 9:30 and I was frantically calling, she kept assuring me that they were on their way, but we were on such a time crunch. 5 very young, strong guys arrived with one big truck and one very small truck. They didn't seem to be in a very big hurry at first and I was wondering why they had been there for 10 minutes and not loaded one thing into the truck yet. We had a lot to get done in a very short amount of time, so we showed them how much tip they were going to receive if we could get this done on time. I will not reveal the amount, but lets just say it was 20%. That got them moving very fast! One hour into it, I couldn't believe how well things were going when we hit the second snag. The second truck was way too small and it took about 30 minutes for the bigger truck to arrive. I was really getting nervous because we only had about 1 hour left and only about 60% was done. The walk through was suppose to be at 12:15 and I just knew that wasn't going to happen. At 12:30, I saw the realtor, for our buyers, circle for the second time. At 12:45, she parked and started checking things out. The whole attic hadn't been emptied yet, so I knew we needed a new incentive. I told the guys, I was ordering pizza and they could eat when the attic was done. As soon as they smelled that pizza, the attic was cleared in 15 minutes!
The walk through went fine, my husband went to the closing and we headed to the Northshore. The owners of the new place were suppose to be out by 11a.m., it was now 2:00 and she still had a whole garage full of stuff not moved out. I told the guys to ignore her and start moving it in! They got it done in 3 hours! A lot more drama went on, but it had nothing to do with the movers. These guys were very respectful, they said please, thank you and yes ma'am. Did we have to dangle a couple carrots in front of them? Yes, did they deserve the pizza lunch and the 20% tip? YES, YES, YES!!!
Now, I also want to tell you that, we were quoted $1500 and were charged $1700 and our furniture was scratch up because of the fact that we were hurrying them a lot. I talked to the manager of the company several times during the day. She kept things moving and really stayed on top of what was going on during the day. At the end, she called and said, and quot;I know we got off to a rough start, but how was your service over all?and quot; I told her I was very satisfied, but the quote was off by $200 and our furniture was quite scratched up. She took $200 off our bill and they sent a repair man over the next day who repaired all the scratches on our furniture!!! I was blown away, by this service! I have NEVER heard of a moving company sending someone out to repair scratches!
Two Men and a Truck is a 1st class moving company!! I would highly recommend them! Did we have some snags? Yes, but they were taken care of quickly and professionally. Thank you so much, Two men and a Truck! I will never use any other company!

They came to my apartment a little bit late because they got lost. They started to work right away when they arrived at my place. They worked hard, quick and professionally. They took very good care of my furniture. They were very nice.

The movers arrived on time with a very large crew. I was concerned when I didn't see them wrapping furniture. They told me that they wrap outside by the truck and unwrap at the other end before bringing items in. As a result most of my furniture had nicks or dents.. My piano lid is missing a screw and an antique trunk is missing a screw on a latch. This was made in Europe and i don't think it can be replaced. They had to repair a stool that they dropped and broke. There are too many items with dents and dings to even mention. They were supposed to leave a bedroom set wrapped in my garage( we supplied the blankets), only the chest is wrapped, the mattress and box spring aren 't. My husband's pool table was to be crated and boxed in packaging we had had kept from our last move. They crated the slates but left the rest of it all over the Garage. They even left some of the cartons at the house we moved out of. They had to come back the next day and go to our old house to get what they had left there to package it up. They only did that after I complained bitterly. The owner tried to get out of coming back to do it, but it was written in our contract that they would do it, so he really had no choice, because I would have considered suing and told him so.
One of his people banged every piece of furniture he carried against a wall or door. He also dropped a kitchen meat block and scraped a corner.
One of the people working on our move also stole something. The owner argued with me about it and said I had misplaced it and would apologize later when I find it. It was an electronic item that I could tell was no longer in my house. When I had proof that it was gone, he offered to pay for 1/2. I accepted that because I was pretty certain that was all he would do to make it right.

I also asked thEm the day before the move to move a large painting with a frame that was coming apart in 1 corner. They charged me $20 extra to move it. They unwrapped it and stood it up on the short end in my garage, leaning against a wall with the weak end bearing the weight. Needless to say that by the end of the day the frame had completely come apart.

THis was by far my worst moving experience. I wish I had joined Angie's list before hiring a mover.

Requested a small move of an office desk to move up one floor in the same home. They scheduled me at 11:00 AM
Didn't show or call by 11:20 AM. I called them and said they would be there within the hour.
Didn't show or call by 1:45 PM. I called them and again said it should be within the hour.
Called at 4:00 PM and said they couldn't make it before I had to leave for 5 PM.
lost nearly my whole day on a job that would have been 10 minutes and $175.
