    Kenneth McCarron MD
He is very nice, but I was still disappointed in his work as a doctor.

When he told me that I had osteoporosis, he offered little information.  He just said it was advanced--did I have any questions.  I was in shock, so had nothing to ask.

At my next appointment, I cam armed with questions.  When prompted, he showed me a model that demonstrated my condition, showed me the results of my tests, told me what treatment he recommended, how it would be monitored and what kind of exercises might help.
But only when asked.  Why wouldn't he offer this information without me prompting him?

This seems to be how most appointments go.  He asks me few questions, and offered minimal information--unless asked.

I have had much better doctors in my time.  The best ones ask me many questions about how I feel, if I exercise, how I eat.

McCarron offers very little, unless prompted.  If you go to this doctor, do your research and ask lots of questions.

I am going to look for another doctor.

    Chastant II, Dr. Bradley J.
He's young, intelligent, good bedside manner and very informative. He seems to work a lot better than my other internal physician. He was very helpful in giving me some information that my cardiologist wasn't giving me. It is how to reduce my cholesterol better and to reduce my level of triglycerides.

He's outstanding! He's been my doctor for almost 20 years. The office environment is very pleasant, it's a brand new medical office building so they have nice size waiting room. The exam rooms are well appointed. The staff that I deal with is mainly his staff and him. I also do have the office staff for the group. The only problem I had was the person who handled the billing was not that good but they had corrected that and now their latest person for billing is spectacular. He takes whatever time he needs for his patient. Sometimes, you have 9am appointment, you may not be seeing him until 9:45 but when you get in he takes as much time he needs with you so it just depends upon his patients and what's their requirements are from him.

I was seen promptly. The staff is friendly and the new offices are convenient and very nice. I never feel rushed or like a number when seeing Dr. Smith. She is thorough in her exams and takes time to answer all my questions.

He arrived every morning at the hospital, sorted things out and made sure the nursing staff and other doctors (specialists) were doing what they were supposed to. He never appears to rush his patients and appears genuinely interested in the welfare of his patients. He contacts your specialists and follows up on treatment plans. He obviously reads records sent from other doctors before he sees you, and is always eager to have their opinions and thoughts. His office is pleasant and his staff very helpful. The staff is easy to reach and responds quickly. Prescriptions are refilled immediately and he even sends you a Christmas card! It's just like the and quot;old timeand quot; family doctor except he is young, energetic and professional.

    Nugent, Dr. Janice A.
I went to the office as per the phoned in appointment from my dr's nurse. I was seen with relative quickness, about average I would say for dr's offices. Once I was in the back after filling out paperwork I was was weighted and asked why I was there and I explained to the dr that it was for elevated liver enzymes as per blood-work from my primary dr.
After looking over the paperwork and spending the majority of the appointment on her tablet making notes she advised me on my first visit that she thinks I should discontinue the use of the cholesterol medication that my primary care had me taking for a couple of years and told me that she thought I needed gastric by-pass surgery as her estimate (80lbs) heavier than my weight on the scale in her office. Apparently she is the only dr i've ever seen that see's is acceptable to round up to the next 100 lb marker and recommend what most dr's would consider as a last resort on your initial visit. She was also on of the only dr's i've ever seen that talked down to me instead of with me or listened to much of what I had to say with any seriousness.
After the talking to in her office I was sent for an abdominal ultra-sound and more blood work. I understand this but when it came time for the results of my additional procedures I was told by her office staff that they hadn't gotten any results back in the past 60 days and would call me when they did.
After waiting about 95 days I went back to my primary care for a separate issue and was asked how it went. He had to request all the test results and her notes which were all faxed over to him the next day but I never received any calls.
I have not gone back to this office and wouldn't unless I had no other options. I talked with my primary dr's nurse and apparently no one except the dr's daughter has had much good to say about this dr.

The exam went well. I didn't have an appointment, but I was seen anyway because I was so ill. He took excellent care of me, and made sure I got the treatment that I needed. He has been extremely helpful to me over the years. He has an excellent bedside manner and always puts me at ease. That is why i keep going back to him.

I'd highly recommend him to anyone. If you don't get something done that he suggests he will persist until you do it because he really cares and is thorough.  There wasn't a day that he didn't come and see me while I was in the hospital.  There was also a specialist that he found for me, and he even noticed when I was depressed and suggested a psychologist.

Wonderful doctor experience. She provided the most thorough exam I have ever had. Dr Smith spent approx. an hour with me. She answered all questions I had and wasn't rushed at all. She's very personable and easy to talk to.
