ASunlight ContractorsI met with Bryan to measure the space. He was punctual and answered all my questions. I had several email discussions with Ira and discussed sealing the ductwork and plenum, which were in the crawl space. I received the price proposal for the added scope, which I thought was necessary to complete the insulation project. I never felt pressured to accept the added work scope. But I did add it. The installation was scheduled and was completed on schedule. I inspected the area under my house after the installation and found it to be clean of any trash from the spray foam project. The sub floor and the ducts were sealed. The work was done professionally with minimal disruption to me. I would recommend Sunlight Contractors.- pete r.

AButcher Air ConditioningCould not be happier with this company. Called yesterday, salesman called back immediately, set an appt for this morning. Was given a bid $300 less for more work. Crew was here about an hour later, GREAT guys! They found a live snake and decided to spray all my walls for no extra charge. I've already recommended Butcher to my friends and family.- Paulette S.

AButcher Air ConditioningMy overall experience in dealing with Butcher AC was excellent. I was impressed with Butcher's knowledge, service, price, professionalism, and product from start to finish. No detail was too small and no detail went overlooked. The service crew called me before they left to come to my home, and they arrived on time. They completely removed my old AC system and replaced it with a new system leaving no trace of them being there. I also had them blow insulation in my attic while they were there to help with the summertime heat. They were nice and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. Before they left, they made sure that we understood the work done and how to properly control the system. The service manager did a great job at coordinating the install and he was present periodically during day to ensure the smooth and timely transition from my old AC to the new AC. Every person that I dealt with at Butcher from the top down was exceptionally professional and service oriented. I could not be happier with the outcome of this job. I will definitley use Butcher for my future heat and AC needs.- Dwight A.

AButcher Air ConditioningThe 4 ton A/C system in my house was not cooling the house properly and was running non-stop. After being completely dissatisfied with my home warranty company (old republic), I decided to call Butcher. They had a technician come out to look at the air handler and condensor. He suggested that the air handler be replaced. Next they sent Ryan Haydel to come look at the unit and estimate the cost. With the cost of a new 4 ton air handler, Ryan suggested that our two story house and my money would be better put towards a new 5 ton system. After some thought, I decided to go for it and we could not be happier with the decision. I called on a Friday, Ryan came by the house Monday, and had the new condenser and air handler installed on Tuesday. Then they came and blew insulation on Saturday! We had an issue with the temperature not reading correctly on the touch screen controller, they installed a remote sensor in the middle of the house with no additional charge! The system works perfectly now, cooling off our house without the unit running non-stop which should save us on our electricity bill. Although Butcher may be a littler pricier than other companies, you get exactly what you pay for; fast, professional service with no hassle. Ryan was very responsive, helping us understand the problem and suggesting several solutions. I will continue to use Butcher for all of our air condition needs.- Garrett H.

AButcher Air ConditioningThe installers arrived at approximately the agreed upon time and the HVAC replacement was completed in one day as promised. I had the entire 30+ year old system replaced (compressor.air handler, plenum and ductwork). There was a little bit of a mix up when the material was loaded at their shop. When the installer and I recognized the problem, he made a couple of phone calls and the correct material was sent via another truck within 1 hour. The insulators came the next day and completed their work in approximately 3 hours. Everyone left the place as clean or better than they found it. We are very satisfied with their service.- Clyde O.

ADuhon Home ImprovementI felt very comfortable with Matthew. He was polite and never takes advantage. He always asks if he can use something, and he did things in a very timely manner. He is coming back to do additional work as well. If he says he's going to be there at 7, he will be there at 7. We have a dog, and he is willing to have the dog outside and they got along great. He puts everything back, cleans everything, and sweeps at the end of the day. I am very impressed with him.- Millicent K.

AThey did an EXCELLENT JOB !!! My flat roof has been very easy to maintain. Corey and his crew were very courteous and they were always smiling ! I could tell they really took pride in their work. They took time to cover and protect all my floors and furniture and cleaned up well when the job was done. I do plan on using them again, for any other house projects that come up, in the future. AFrom beginning to end their service was professional and informative. The sales rep came to my residence and walked me thru the entire process. FThe owner came to give us an estimate, he came without a ladder and he is very rude, very unprofessional, I would not recommend him to anyone because of the way he presented himself to us, he called my husband names when he did not agree with the suggestions. Did not give us the estimate not after our insurance company provides the adjusted price. unethical, not good to present the business. when my husband disagrees with him, he called my husband an A-hole, We were just amazed with the attitude.

FLet me preface by saying I have never deemed it necessary to write a bad review of anything, ever! However Fontenot’s actions have effected my entire family’s lives in such a negative way that I can no longer refrain from sharing our story. A few years ago we had Fontenot’s install a new HAVC system, the cost was approximately $12,000. Fast forward to Sept. 2019. My house had been recently placed on the market with my husband already working out of state. I remained here with my 4 children until our house sold. Almost all of our belongings were packed in POD’s. The air conditioner went out so I called Fontenot’s to repair. The technician came out to repair and in the process he exploded water and debris through the bathroom sink connected to the a/c drain pipe. Water flowed over the sink resulting in flooding our floors. Fontenot’s did not lift a finger to assist with mitigating damages. I was told by Fontenot’s that it sounded like a plumbing issue to them and that “the insurance companies will...(at this point the owner bumped his fists together to indicate his insurance would fight ours.)” After months of dealing with insurance and home repairs we were finally able to place our home back on the market which happens to be the same day the “stay at home” order went into place. If Fontenot’s had mitigated the damage my children would not have had to spend 9 months away from their father and we wouldn’t have had to spend thousands to cover PODS storage and additional rent. MAKE NO MISTAKE, Fontenot’s will be great to you while you are paying them thousands BUT DON’T expect them to take responsibility if they make a mistake!!!
