    Touchet Paint & Body Shop
Touchet's is the best Paint and Body shop that I have ever dealt with.  Their work is fantastic and I recommend them to anyone who ever asks.  They are one of State Farm's choice locations, and they handle everything with the insurance company.  When dealing with a car repair that is usually the result of a crash, it takes a load off knowing that they will handle all of the paperwork & all you have to do is show up and sign a check for the deductible, and get a car that looks like it is brand new.
    I will always use them.

    C & R COLLISION REPAIR
We got multiple estimates. Their price was competitive, but also they were the only shop that was helpful in understanding which parts were functionally important vs. minor cosmetic issues, helping us trade off exactly which work to go ahead with. They made less money short term, but made us much more likely to go back (and recommend them).

    C & R COLLISION REPAIR
One side of my license plate fell off one day and I noticed it was not just unscrewed. It was broken completely off of the car. The plastic piece that the screw bolts to broke off the car. They were able to repair the piece so that I did not have to purchase a whole panel. Looked new. Great customer service!

help was Estimate went fine.  Drop off went fine.  Work time was longer than expected and wasn't notified until I called.  When picking up vehicle I was informed they apply a surcharge for using a credit card.  Not that upset at the surcharge (although it is different than most businesses practice) but not being informed of it at anytime during the drop off or repair process it caught me off guard.  I don't carry that kind of cash and usually don't carry a checkbook either because the US economy functions with credit/charge cards.  After a lengthy discussion about that then I inspected the vehicle.  Its as if they expect to find something wrong but hope you don't look or notice it.  Their quality control is shady at best.  I noticed 3 issues that were glaring to me and the lady who did my walk around.  If their quality control was good (or they cared) they would have done the walk around prior to me picking up the vehicle.  They have a very trashy and unprofessional way of dealing with people.  SAD!  However the counter lady's were very polite and helpful.  Then after being at home I noticed some over spray on the windshield and I just live with it as I don't want to deal with them again.  Very frustrating.

    C & R COLLISION REPAIR
It's hard to find; it's in a back street. It's the only thing around as it's in the middle of a residential area and difficult to locate. But once I found it; the work was fine. The location was gravel and not enough concrete to suit me. But everything they did was fine. As soon as I pulled up the street, I was on gravel. I have been a mechanic and I know what's it's like to work in gravel. If we lose a nut or bolt, we'll never find it. That's my only complaint. But other than that, they did a fine job. They were very busy, so the concrete places they had were full, so they had to put me and other people out on a side street which was gravel. Apparently there aren't that many good collision places in Lafayette, because they were pretty swamped. They quoted me a time; two weeks from the day I came in. I came in for a quote, and then they made an appointment for two weeks past that. They completed the job in that time frame. The price was appropriate for the work.

    LUKE'S PAINT & BODY SHOP
Honestly, It was the most terrible experience I ever went through with a business. When  1st went pick up  the car, it had drips on it and the emblems on the car were in the wrong location and 1 was missing .I did not pick up the car- said they would fix. 2nd visit pick up car  noticed scratches and bubbles on paint by hood, Did not leave with car said they would fix. 3rd visit scratch still on hood bubbles in paint still detectable but I figured I can leave with that. To try to fix the scratch on the the owner so pulls out some black turtle wax to hide scratch. I paid 3,000 and he,s goinf to try and fix his poor quality paint job with wax  instead of fixing it professionally. At this point I am beyond angry . Unfortunately I had already paid for my services. I take my car get home all the screws that are suppose to be holdin my front bumper to the tire well are missing. Try to open hood and cannot!  Bring car back. 4th time front bumper  has screws and hood opens but not to easy. Week later can not open hood

    Touchet Paint & Body Shop
I was involved in an accident in which I was hit from behind by another vehicle and I had to have the rear bumper replaced. Anyways they were pretty professional in giving me the estimate and telling me what to expect later, and while it took some time for the parts to be delivered, the replacement only took maybe 2-3 hours at most. If anyone is required to use State Farm's Select Service shops I would recomend that they use this place.

    Touchet Paint & Body Shop
Selected Touchet's based upon favorable responses on Angie's List, as well as the BBB, and couldn't have been more pleased with my experience.  Although I didn't have any paint and body work performed, as my car was a total loss, the personalized customer service I received from this family owned business restored my faith in the fact that customer service does exist in some places, and the customer is still valued.  The accident surrounding my need to use a Paint & Body shop was very traumatizing, but Mr. Touchet and his son made the process easy and actually pleasurable to work with such genuinely, nice people.

    LUKE'S PAINT & BODY SHOP
They did a wonderful job.  Their price was reasonable and they also guaranteed their work for as long as I own the car.  I could not believe it when I saw it because it looked like it had never been damaged.  They were surprisingly reasonable.  People may find them to be expensive, but I was very pleased.  The price they charged me was the same as they quoted me.

    Vaccarella's Repair Shop
He is also the local insurance adjuster for a couple of insurance companies, so he’s got a really good relationship with the insurance companies. The insurance company paid for it, and my truck looked brand new when he finished. It took a while for him to finish it, but it was not his fault, he was so busy. I would like to mention that I personally used to restore antique cars years ago, and he is one of the best painters I have ever seen.
