AJohn Thibodeaux Quick Appliance RepairMr. John check every possible reason for dyer not starting. Stayed about an hour and half. Found that the buttons on front for settings and start have gone bad. Called to check on replacement part, but because dryer is 12 years old the part is unavailable. Mr. John went above and beyond and only charged for driving out from Youngsville to Carencro and diagnosis; extremely reasonable pricing. I appreciate his customer service and everything he did to try to save our dryer.- Melissa M.

FChoice Home WarrantyNot well from the part of Choice Home Warranty. The technician they sent out was fine, professional and courteous. The issue is with Choice Home Warranty. They refused to pay for the part claiming it is under warranty with the manufacturer. They referred me to Sears to get it covered under warranty, after two+ hours on the phone with Sears the only way Sears would warranty the item is for Sears technician to diagnose the problem. Great, I say when can they come out, three weeks and a$149 charge and oh by the way if Sears doesn’t install it the warranty is void. Choice doesn’t talk to me they just email and keep reacting the same thing, no help at all. VERY DISSATISFIED with my experience with Choice and I won’t be renewing. This is the second call they have botched up and manage not to pay anything. I have two homes under Choice and will soon cancel both!- Sharon M.

AMark's Appliance RepairMark's Appliances has helped us twice now, and both times he was able to diagnose and fix the problem with our washer. (There were two different problems.) AMITCH ROMERO'S APPLIANCE REPAIRI called and a tech came out at my convenience. They called beforehand and made sure it was OK to come. He took the appliance apart and advised me that it was able to be fixed. He would get me a quote on parts and then I could decide if I wanted to fix it or buy a new dishwasher, since this one is 8 years old. He then gave me suggestions on where to go to get the best price on a new one. If I decide to fix the old one, the service charge goes toward the instillation of the new parts. He suggested I go on line and compare prices and decide from there after I got the quote on the parts from them over the phone. Very helpful people, and a pleasure to deal with.- Melanie S. G.

AHeberts Home RepairsBobby did a truly outstanding work for everything we asked for. He helped with the design of the bathrooms, and the choice of material. He did the internet search for us to show the different choices for bathroom designs and he shopped around with us for the material. He would explain in detail about the different choices. He is a very happy guy always coming in with big smile. Bobby is also extremely thoughtful. His team worked very hard and always cleaned everywhere after the work each day. All the work are done beautifully. We enjoyed working with Bobby and we enjoyed our new bathrooms and build in over and microwave so much. Thank you so much, Bobby! AThe experience was really great. The technician was very clear with his instructions and was able to follow the repairs as I did them. The only issue was with the initial setup of the video chat. But otherwise an incredible experience that I will definitely be using again. saved a boat load of money and I learned something!

Bwhen tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great

FAmerican Home Shield (AHS) warranty is replacing my broken microwave with a new one. I received the new microwave on 11/11/2020 and notified AHS it was in my possession. Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status. They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks from the date they received the dispatch from AHS. I informed them it had been 2 weeks in which they replied that it would be another 2 weeks. As of today, 12/11/2020, 4 weeks from the date C & R received the dispatch, I have not been contacted by C & R or a contractor. C & R's lack of communication and customer service is absurd. AHS informed me that they do not have any authority over C & R.

FThey told me it was a covered repair and to get the work done and submit invoice and they would reimburse us. We got it done and submitted the invoice. After 3 months of constant follow up they covered part of the parts charge and none of the labor. Then, following up again, they responded with, WE ARE CLOSING THE BUSINESS.
