  One Man & A Toolbox LLC

  One Man & A Toolbox came out to do the gutter cleaning- they cleaned the inside of the gutters but did not clean the outside of the gutters. He told me that the outside was not included and that I did not specify that I wanted the outside cleaned. He then said that he didn?t have the equipment to clean the outside and that he would have to come back and it would be an additional charge. I called the office and the receptionist seemed oblivious as to what I was talking about. I am very unsatisfied, if I request a gutter cleaning I expect them to clean the inside and outside. Had I known that it was just the inside, I would have shopped around for another company.

  Mr. Taylor has provided various services for us over the past few years. We initially contracted him to repair concrete (driveway) and extend our patio slab, after seeing the wonderful job he was doing replacing the concrete driveway next door. Since then, Mr. Taylor's company has been our go to people for just about everything.
  
  After another contractor failed to complete a job, we contacted Mr. Taylor and they came out to complete those repairs in 2 days.
  
  His response time is impeccable. He's always professional and very polite.

   Got a estimate, I told them to do the job. They called me with a day and time, they showed up on the day and time, did a excellent job! I have used them 3 times, they are perfectionist! Never had a problem with workmanship, or products used.

  Larry, a representative from Home Bright, arrived about 11:30 am. He introduced himself and then proceeded to climb his ladder to inspect the roof. He also walked around the complete perimeter of the property. After inspection, I invited him into my home and we sat down to discuss the job. He explained, that it would not be possible to do the job, without incurring other costs, specifically related to the pitch and square footage. I don't have the extra money to get the job done now. So, I will wait until later. Thank you very much.

  I have been very happy with his work. They did work for us after a hurricane and then they also did work for us after a bad hail storm a couple of years ago. I have been very pleased with the work they have done. They did not charge me anything for fixing the siding after the new window was installed. Following the hurricane and everything they put on a new roof, fence, siding and patio. Everything that was damaged either his company or another company they hired fixed it. He delivered everything he said, when he said at the price he said. I had no problems and they did a lot of work on my house. Their price was very competitive.

  First of all I got the most complete estimate (3 pages) of all the work to be done - parts, labor, etc. The estimate was divided into Materials, Demo, Carpentry, Siding, and Painting & Prep with materials cost and labor costs clearly set out. The man who came out to do the walk thru and prepare the estimate was right on time and very thorough and professional. Asked and answered a lot of questions on materials and exactly what I wanted done.
  I was sent the estimate by email and called and set up the time for the work to be done. It turned out that they are very busy, so I had to wait about a month. The wait was well worth it! The crews came each day on time and worked long days. They finished the whole job in about 6 days - straight through from around 7 am to between 5 & 6 pm. They took care of every detail by hand.
  The only problem I had was in getting hold of the traveling job foreman. I should have made sure to get his phone number first thing. I had to go through the main office and that was slow. Only had 1 question so not a big problem, but something to keep in mind.
  One of the owners came out to do the final walk through and questioned me about the work and how his crew had performed.It was nice to see his level of involvement and care. He was actually the one who put in the soffit air vent covers.
  The house looks great, my neighbors have already asked who did the work and how to contact them.
  This was a great experience altogether and I will be using them again in the future.

  CAJUN ROOFING & REMODELING

  Initially very sweet and responsive but this was all talk. He did not know how to act with a senior citizen. It took about 3 months to finish the job. I thought even though I did not like the professional behavior work was good BUT now about 9 months later we are have roof leaks.

  Has not rained since repairs completed so can not comment on that.

  After calling, they come out, looks at job and repaired within 3 days.

  I found small job is hard to get companies interested.

  I think price may have been a little high but for a small repair, if leak is fixed I am happy.

  Augustino Brothers

  The roof that was put on leaked from day one and still to this day it leaks. I left many message over the years and no one returned my phone calls. Dean works for Affordable Roofing now and when I requested to PAY to have him fix it he never showed up either. It took over a year to finish the rest of the hail damage repair. They ruined my front door and sidelights by using cheap labor (the guy sanded the glass on the door as well as the wood...LOL) and had to pay another company $4,000.00 to replace it. They painted some things really half a** and each time they sent another guy out he would screw it up even more. I ended up having to get my own painter to finish the job and they picked up the cost. Overall they did a p*** poor job and that is why I have hired Cajun Restoration to fix the hail damage that happened this past year.

  Henry's Construction

  Henry was great to work with. He took the time to go over all options and colors. He even drove us around showing us types and different colors to pick from. He was very patient with my lack of knowledge and my very long, long time to select the perfect color. Would definately use him again. His crew were quick and left our grounds clean.
