    Two Guys Moving
3 guys showed up who were not professional at all. They seemed shocked at what furniture I did need moved and didn't want to work. Two of them smelled of alcohol. They were lazy to say the least. They moved very slow and broke one of my expensive electric recliners. They also wouldn't take my hanging clothes but found out from someone else they took her mothers when they moved her. I still had so much left the next day to move it took me one load by myself and 3 car fulls from family. I will NEVER use them again nor recommend me them to anyone.

    Apartment & Household Movers, LLC
I CANNOT say enough good things about this company and the crew specifically assigned to our move. We requested unloading assistance for our move from Baltimore Maryland to Bossier City Louisiana. There weren't too many companies to choose from here for moving assistance in Bossier City. Turns out, no need. This company was literally THE BEST I've ever had for moving. I'm used to crews complaining about the work etc. (which is exactly what we experienced with the help in MD before we drove down here. NOTHING even remotely close to that happened with Apartment and Household Movers. They called a day in advance to confirm and were even flexible when I shifted an hour at the last minute. Bruce was great setting everything up. The crew (three men) were absolutely fabulous. They arrived on time, ready to work. They were extremely courteous. They worked hard the entire time. They were very careful with my furniture and even provided advice on what to do with our TV once we discovered the fact that it had gotten wet during the move. Without hesitation, I would recommend them and will certainly be reaching out for support for our next move. This is the best group of movers I've ever worked with.

    Dickens'S Services
Mr. Dickens was informed and aware that it would be difficult completing the tasks to be performed because we were closing down a family home and emotions ran high about closing my elderly (age 92) mother's home.  Siblings had difficulty, but he indicated he had worked in more difficult situations, and he could work around the situation.
Although Mr. Dickens provided a contract of services of what he would do, the services were not adequately performed and the repairs and painting was of such a poor quality that another carpenter had to be brought in to correct the repairs and another painter to correct the mistakes made by the painter.  The work was to be completed within one week but took three months.  My expenses were multiplied by the numerous trips required to see that the work was complete.  Cleaning services were not adequately provided as his "Staff" a  couple of street kids who used a Swiffer steam mop rather than the professional machines and services used by the company which came in to correct the job done by Dickens's Services.   Mr. Dickens charges an excessive amount for that which he provided.  The work had to be redone by other professionals.  There was significant differences in the quality of work and he did not refund the money for the work which required others to come in and correct.  He victimized an elderly widow.
Although I would recommend Brent as a mover, his other services are substandard and he does not keep his word or require a professional level of work from employees.  Pictures are available to substantiate allegations and available via text message. At the end of the day Brent was charming but the work was not up to par.

    SML - Simple Moving Labor
I found this company through Penske's website when I rented a truck.  Shame on Penske for advertising these hucksters as a moving company.
Simple Moving Labor sent 2 people (as per the agreement).   THEY WERE NOT PROFESSIONAL MOVERS.  It was just a couple of guys they contracted out from the local Labor Ready place.  I did NOT know this until after it was all done.
The two workers arrived early and sat in front of my house until it was the designated time to start.   They asked if I had hired anyone else besides them and were surprised when I said No.  They started unloading the truck and it quickly became apparent that they didn't have a lot of experience with moving.  One of them was very lazy and complained the entire time while the other was polite and a hard worker.  Despite me hiring them so I wouldn't have to do the moving both my wife and I had to jump into the truck to get things unloaded in a timely manner.
After it was all done then the lazy worker hands me some paperwork to sign.  That's when I found out they weren't professional movers.  They make you pay a deposit, wait until the workers show up and then after its over, hand you paperwork with a disclaimer saying they aren't professional movers and they aren't insured.
It was a very frustrating experience, the work was sloppy and wildly overpriced.
Do NOT use Simple Moving Labor.  A big price for a dud deal.

    ACTION MOBILITY SVC
The crew showed up on time, and worked tirelessly all day.  We moved from a 2 story house into another 2 story house, across town.  The crew worked diligently, very professional, and was careful with our furniture and wood floors.  Highly recommend them to anyone family into or out of the Shreveport Bossier Area.

    Ron's Professional Movers
I found Ron's Moving on Angie's list. I am so glad that we chose them because they were GREAT! Ron arrived with 2 other people in which they were punctual and professional. They arrived ready to work. I was really impressed with them because we were moving into a new home and they did not have any scratches on the walls or our furniture. There work is exceptional for a reasonable price. They took about 4.5 hours to move ALL of our things. If you are looking for a company that cares about your things don't hesitate to call Ron and his crew. You have to package/box your own things and they will move it.

    Johnson's Moving & Storage
I called two weeks ahead and the person that answered the phone gave me a quote of $215. This was verbal no email or printed quote was given. I told him exactly what I wanted. He seemed very nice. The day of the move three guys showed up late. The didn't show until 8:20. I was introduced to a man named Lonnie. He was accompanied by two other guys. They surveys what they needed to do. They expressed concern about getting it all in the Pod. I stated that it all fit when I moved from Nc two years prior.I had provided plenty of blankets and rope as instructed in the phone call two weeks earlier. As time approached 10 Lonnie approached me and took me out to the Pod. He said you will have plenty of room. We ran out of blankets and you will have to finish packing the Pod. I went back to the apartment and they had left the tv in the Living Room. I made them carry it out to the Pod. I went to the bedroom and they had left the headboard of my bed. Lonnie stated "you can get someone to help you carry it out". By this time I was getting irritated. That's what I had hired them to do. I had to ask the Maintence guy of the apartment complex to help me carry it out. A few minutes before 10 I was asked to pay the bill. Lonnie quoted me the price of $298 signifacely higher than I was quoted. He also stated it had to be cash. I said I was not told that during my phone call. He said "Well he was supposed to tell you that" I ask if a check was ok. He said "ok we will trust you". I got no reciept. I got the feeling he was breaking his neck to get out of there by 10. The whole experience left me upset and feeling fleeced. Everything made it to Georgia in pretty good shape except the knob of my dryer was broke and I had to replace it. I believe since they were "professionals" they could have done a better job to protect the washer and dryer knobs. The other two guys were great and worked really hard. I had to call a month later to get a printed receipt. I left a message and had to call back to give the address. I unfortunately had to talk to Lonnie when I called back to give the address. He said "It's Lonnie, you know the good looking one". I just wanted my reciept and should have brought up the fact he didn't finish his job and showed up late. I chose Johnson's Moving based on the Angie's List reviews. I was very disappointed in the quality of work and the change in quote at the last minute.

    Apple Moving DFW, LLP
They typically do not do moves out of state.  Because we were repeat customers they did this move for us.  They were stellar.  It was a difficult move, and they did a great job.  They men were very courteous.  I would recommend them to anybody.

    Sterling Van Lines
I contacted several companies and settled on Sterling after reading reviews on Angie's List.  Everyone one I dealt with at Sterling was wonderful.  From setting up the move to getting the furniture delivered.  Dave, the van driver/furniture mover, was very professional and extremely nice to work with. He even called in route to update me on the day and time of delivery.  Unfortunately, one sliding glass door for the hutch broke in transit and I'm in the process of working with Sterling on the claim.  I'm confident that all will be well based on how they've handled everything else so far.

    Let's Get Moving
The were absolutely OUTSTANDING !!! We have moved no less than 11 times do to work and I must say this was the best moving company we have ever used !!! They took great care not to damage any of our things and did it on time and on budget. They also loaded and packed some of our furniture that would not fit into our new home into a rental truck . We had that truck driven up north to our Son's home and the furniture arrived in perfect condition . Just a GREAT job by a talented ,professional crew !!!!
