    Ochsner Clinic
It's awesome and they have their specialists there. They're very knowledgeable and they take time to come go do exciting things for you. They did some follow-up and make an appointment for that day. You have to make an appointment there. The doctor is also participating and very thorough. They also were on time.

    Molloy, Dr. Gerald
He was recommended by my Neurologist so I went to him.  We scheduled the appointment, when we went there, he wasn’t there, and we waited and waited.  The office is small, it was unusual, there were people waiting, and it didn’t feel it was a medical office.  It is hard to explain.  There was a young woman at the desk and then the assistant was kind of hurt and she had me walk across the room and she was standing behind me and she said she could see my balance was off and that wasn’t true.  She was planning things to make me think that I was in worse shape than I was.  I didn’t feel comfortable.  In the hallway, there was nothing that showed a skull, it was all back, vertebrae and spine and I was thinking where the brain is.  I though because he was new in the area he was sharing his office with the back people.  He was probably looking for some business.  He is a great guy and he was funny but he was very busy with paperwork and I came out.  He tried to push me into having a brain surgery, which I didn’t think was necessary.  I got a second opinion, that it was unnecessary and my problem healed itself, without medication or surgery.  I asked my husband to join me from his busy schedule and when he got there, we waited, and waited and waited some more.  The doctor was charming.  He was just leading me down the wrong path.  He showed me my MRI and he showed me how small my brain was compared to an average brain.

    Warner Jr, Dr. Larry
I found this provider extremely unprofessional, so much so that I cut the appointment short because he spent the majority of the time criticizing the previous practitioner I had seen (who I thought was an excellent nurse practitioner). He also did not listen to me or my needs. I would NOT recommend this doctor.

She got her medical degree from Harvard in 1992.  I found via vitals.com she got a Patients Choice Award in 2010 & 2011.  She also won the Compassionate Doctor recognition in 2010. I have seen her since July 2012, about 4 times most recently on July 11th.  She is obviously brilliant and has an exceptional ability to listen and understand what patients are saying. She is very easy to speak with, very compassionate.  She has given me as much time as I wanted.  Once my husband and I were there 2 to 3 hours.  She didn't rush at all. With regards to billing and administration, she has a private office that handles her billing, I don't normally have to chase doctors down to pay them but I do with her. At times the billing office is not very responsive either.  I go to the 7865 Jefferson HwySuite DBaton Rouge, LA 70809 location.

She is actually really good, professional, and very down to earth she helped me out a lot. How they recommend her to anyone that wound want to go see her. I just had some issues that I want to be worked out and she came highly recommended from another friend of mine.

    Dammers, Dr. Paul M.
I would recommend Dr. Dammers to anyone suffering with issues about their mental health. He's very easy to talk to and receives your information with great interest. He doesn't watch the clock, waiting for the visit to end. He seems very compassionate. I have been a patient for many years and wouldn't consider going to anyone else. One caveat, it's very difficult to get an appointment with him so I set an appointment in advance every 6 months.

    Zimmerman, Dr. Marc
Dr. Mark Zimmerman and his staff are wonderful, they are very accommodating. Dr. Zimmerman is very caring and compassionate. He's very helpful as a therapist and he listens to you. If one medication doesn't work he's going to find another that will.

He is a good listener, and has an art for letting people feel relaxed and letting their feelings out.  He does not take sides and is great at helping you work through anything.  I have referred many friends to him.

    Chalasani & Kongara MDs
I have had two appointments with Dr. Atluri.  She listened to my concerns and did a great job of explaining what my treatment options were.  After the first appointment I had a concern about my medicine and called the office.  By the next morning my questions were answered.  During my second appointment we discussed a few other things and I feel very secure that Dr. Atluri is my psychiatrist.

He is excellent. In any time you have depression, the biggest thing is to find the right medication. He makes you help yourself too. There is no magic bullet. Some people may not like that. I like him because he tells you "this is what you have to do to get well." Its hard, but it works. I highly recommend him; He is empowering, and positive. I have to relearn how to think positively. He will see you anytime you need! Day or night.
