  • I called Plumb Tite because my water heater was no longer putting out hot water. They were very accommodating with my schedule and were able to send out their technician Ryan later that evening. Ryan did a thorough inspection of my water heater and offered me several options to resolve the issue, including repairing my current water heater and replacing it entirely. He explained all the options in great detail and although the repair was the cheapest option, he let me know that it would only be a temporary fix due to the age of my water heater and that I would run into the same issues later on. I appreciated his honesty with me and opted to have him replace my water heater, which he was able to do that same evening. Overall, I felt that both Ryan and Plumb Tite had my best interests in mind and were not trying to pressure me into unnecessary repairs. I would recommend Plumb Tite to everyone and will be using them for any of my future plumbing needs.

  • Earl's team went above and beyond our expectations! They filed the permit for us which was great! They arrived on time, listened to our concerns and cleaned up afterwards. Got everything finished in 1 day, even when they ran into a problem with a tree stump. They were very courteous and attentive to our needs and gave great advice as to how the job should be done.

  • Schneller came to diagnose the issue. I thought the AngieList deal ($100 gets you $200 of service) would cover the cost of them to diagnose the issue. But Schneller invoiced me for $425.00, just to diagnose the issue. So that's $325.00 out of pocket (with the AnglieList deal applied) just for them to diagnose the issue. In schneller's defense, they did have to cut a whole in the neighbor below me's ceiling, to diagnose the issue. A whole that they did not patch. Schneller told me I would have to work out getting the whole patched with my neighbor. Luckily my neighbor is a handy-man, and was able to patch his ceiling himself. What's worse, after the diagnosing the problem, they told me I needed to replace all the piping, and they estimated it would cost $2,500.00. My neighbor and I ended up fixing the leak ourselves with some gutter-sealant and $20 in parts. Yea it's a jerry-rig fix, but the seal will probably last 20 years. Scnheller employees that arrived were professional, but their prices are just way too high!

  • Mark Feldhaus and Feldhaus Home Improvement were great to work with! From the beginning when Mark came over to meet my wife and I, he was very professional and easy to get along with. Mark really took the time to listen to our wants and to talk through our design ideas. The quote provided explained the work to be preformed and Mark took the time to discuss the details. Once the project started, Mark and his team covered floors and items in the house to cut down on dust and prevent damage. As the project progressed, Mark kept me up to speed with phone calls and text messages and was always available to talk, even on the weekends. If there was ever a question or issue with how something should be done, Mark got a hold of us to get our input before moving forward. We also changed a couple of design ideas as the project moved forward and Mark walked us through what each change meant to make sure it was done the way we wanted. I would definitely recommend Mark Feldhaus Home Improvement for a project and will be reaching out to Mark with any future remodeling needs.

  • That was the only time they were out. It wasn?t resolved because it couldn?t be resolved with what he could do. I?m not really sure, my husband was there so I wasn?t in the mist of it. When they could solve what the problem was, there wasn?t much he could do, so we paid him and he left. We found out it was something like with the area the county wide area, with some wiring stuff and I don?t know. So, we had to have some trees removed, it just led to other things. 

     They charged us something like $300, but I?m not real sure. He spent some time there. My husband said he?s a really nice guy and his work was and everything. It really wasn?t his problem that he couldn?t fix it. He couldn?t fix what the problem, but it might have been something that was out of his range. His responsiveness was excellent, that was the best. His punctuality was also awesome at the time. Early the next morning when we talked to him. We would probably use him again if it was just regular plumbing stuff. They had to go inside. Several places were a mess because that is where the problem is, we?re trying to revamp the inside. So, what he messed up, he probably cleaned up. He probably didn?t make a mess. There was just one person that came out. I found him on Angie?s List.

  • Both toilets leaked water and wobbled on base. The customer service agents could have cared less and it took two and over a half day on Monday to repair faulty work. Leaky toilets should get more rapid attention.

  • I have been looking for a good honest plumber for decades now and this guy is it. He gave me a great quote on digging up the front yard and running a new water line. He is neat, friendly, took the time to explain everything to me step by step when he really didn't need to, as well as went above and beyond to when it came to his work. His price was extremely competitive and is really looking to give the most for your money when it comes to service and quality. He locate and spot an issue just by looking at the plumbing and not only that but quickly and efficiently fixes it with the best quality work. He always has a smile on his face and I wish I would have found him 30 years ago. I have been giving out his number to family and friends.

  • Let me preface this with the fact that I have dealt with Roto-Rooter in the past for assorted plumbing problems and was very satisfied.  This time . . . not so much.  On Thursday morning I called and explained that my water heater was leaking out the top and I had water all over the basement floor.  Of course, I turned it off at the circuit box and shut off the water to it.  Roto-Rooter folks said they could not get to me until Friday morning between 8:00 and noon.  I waited all day.  The guy finally showed up at 7:30 PM.  He had been working since 8:00 AM.  He then went to get a new 50-gallon replacement water heater.  This took him about an hour and a half.  By 11:30 PM, he finally finished.  I want to stress that he was courteous and professional.  When he was finished, he told me to check to see if the water was getting warm.  It was not.  He said it would get warm in about a half hour.  It did not.  I kept checking every half hour.  At 1:00 AM, it finally occurred to me that he probably hadn't flipped the circuit breaker back to the "ON" position.  Went downstairs to check and, sure enough, that was the problem.  After turning it on, the water heater seems to work just fine.  I don't blame the poor guy.  He'd been working since early morning and at 11:30 PM, still had another job to do in Florence!  
    My biggest gripe (aside from the non-existent "emergency service," is the price.  Had I known that the cost of labor was going to be close to $1,500, I would have rented a truck, bought the water heater at Lowe's, and installed it myself.  However, at 62, with significant arthritis, I thought that this job would best be left to the professionals.  I will NOT make that mistake again!  Today I am going to download an owner's manual for the water heater (I didn't get one), and future repairs will be made by me.
