ANeeded a dumpster to use during home renovations. From the first phone call, they were polite and Professional as could be. They even called head to make sure we were ready for drop off. Punctual with delivery/pickup and knowledgable about the process when asked questions. Even called once the job was done to make sure service was satisfactory. FI put in for a request on Angie's List to have 9 rolls of carpet and 9 rolls of padding hauled away. 1-800-Declutter responded and told me they would beat any offer I got by $30. When I told him the other offers were all around $150 he went into a very long rant about how the other companies (Junk King, Got Junk etc) were lying to me and going to charge me a different price when they got here. After he spent a few minutes insulting these businesses, I chuckled and said to him, "I guess this means you don't want to do the job $30 cheaper than anyone else?" His angry rant was over the top and uncalled for. I didn't ask him to undercut anyone, I just asked for a quote. He was the one who said he'd beat anyone's price by $30. You don't sell your business by putting other businesses down. I finally asked him to just give me a price and he responded that he was not interested in my job. So first he was going to give me a deal then he doesn't want the job. This guy was extremely rude and I have no idea how he stays in business.
