    I recently moved to AL and of course needed a trusted and honest mechanic shop. The team at Franklin Auto filled those shoes. I have taken both of my vehicles there and each time they were very professional, timely, and affordable. I will be going back to them again and again.

    Dropped Dodge Dakota pickup off on Wednesday. They checked for issues, and confirmed what I already knew-- my transmission was not working properly. Transmission was slipping gears, making strange noises, and generally threatening to leave me stranded. Not entirely unexpected after 10 years!

    The fault code indicated and quot;Loss of Primeand quot; in the internal pump in the transmission. After they took things apart they found the torque converter was not up to snuff, the filter was clogged with fine metallic residue, the clutches were burned and overheating.

    This required a complete overhaul, with rebuilt torque converter, plus new speed sensors, piston kit, filter, solenoid block, and overhaul kit.

    Truck was ready by Friday afternoon.

    It's been a week, and it seems to be working OK!

    Only reason I didn't rate the price is because $2500 isn't chicken feed, but when compared to the cost of a new vehicle it's cheap. I didn't comparison shop, I just looked for a company that was rated favorably.

    I like their operation.  I think their pricing is fair and I can trust them with the work they do.  I like their timings.  They have time available in the evening and on Saturdays.  That’s why I go there.  I’m in and out within an hour.  I will surely use them again in the future.

    They took care of all the insurance and so forth; we did not have to pay a dime. Our overall experience went very well. One of our cars is a Lexus which has the automatic windshield wipers on it, it has got a sensor, and when they did the work, they knocked the sensor off and did not even realize it so we could not get it to work. We had to take it twice, they fixed it and put the sensor on but the sensor was not working so they had to fix it again. We ended up taking it back three times but they were always very nice and got it all done straight away and we did not have to pay anything.

    They replaced the windshield of my car. Well, that service was free to me. In the state of Kentucky, you don't have to pay the- that amount of money that you pay as opposed to how much money the insurance company pays. I was referred to them through my insurance company and so they gave me a bill which said what it was but I did not have to pay, because I was in Kentucky. They were timely. They set up an appointment for me. When I got there, they greeted me right away. They took the car right away. We weren't sure what type of windshield I needed, so they made sure that they had two different ones there, which was very considerate of them because they saved me time since I live a little bit away from there. So I was impressed with all of those things. They addressed concerns before I even had a chance to bring them up. They were very informative about how to care for the windshield in that first forty eight hours. They were just excellent and instructing.

    It was pretty quick and reliable. I've been there before. I think they're very friendly there and they do exactly what needed to be done. They're courteous. They're fairly quick; in and out. They have appointments in the evening until 10 o'clock until Saturdays. I called them a day before to get an appointment and they came in the next day. I would use them again in the future.

    Our family has use Bud's J&M services over the past 20 years for various auto needs.
    From simple repairs to complex electrical and mech. work.
    They are usually busy and you may need to leave your auto all day or overnight depending on the complexity of the work.

    Took my 2010 black vehicle in to have the paint buffed out to remove minor scratches and oxidation, and had the interior cleaned.  The car came out looking brand new!  Will do business with again!

    I shopped Ford online. Bob Swope seemed to house great price on their website. Checked their online receives they also great went to dealership but they didn't have the exact one I wanted. They got it for me the very next day great people to work with.
